Abstract

Kerja sama ambe’en merupakan salah satu jenis kerja sama yang juga bersandar pada nilai dasar ekonomi Islam dengan memasuki kategori akad syirkah al-Inaan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada permasalahan tentang: implementasi kerja sama ambe’en dan perspektif ekonomi Islam terhadap kerja sama ambe’en, studi kasus Perahu Sumber Barokah di pelabuhan Muncar kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara kepada pemilik, pemodal, dan penanggung jawab di perahu Sumber Barokah, serta dokumentasi. Dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisi domein, analisis taksonomi dan analisis tema. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa kerja sama ambe’en di perahu Sumber Barokah mengimplementasikan jenis kerja sama dengan menggunakan akad syirkah al-Inaan dengan saling menggabungkan harta ataupun modal, modal yang dusumbangsikan adalan bentuk modal wadah pekerjaan oleh pemilik perahu Sumber Barokah dan modal yang diansurkan sesuai kebutuhan sedangkan untuk pihak lainnya memeberikan modal berbentuk modal 80.000.000 dengan bagi hasil 10% melalui kesepakatan yang telah disepakati. Kerja sama ini telah mencakup hampir keseluruhan nilai dasar ekonomi Islam.

Abstract

Writing argumentative essay poses a significant challenge for English students, who often struggle with expressing opinions, organizing ideas logically, and using appropriate language structures. Despite the importance of assessing writing skills at early stages, few reliable instruments exist that are specifically designed to evaluate argumentative essay. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable analytic rubric to assess students’ argumentative essay skills, focusing on six key components: clarity of thesis, organization and coherence, supporting evidence, argument development, language use, and vocabulary range. The research employed a design-based development approach, incorporating literature review, expert validation, and empirical testing. Content validity was established through expert judgment (S-CVI = 0.95), and the instrument was pilot-tested with 85 English students. Statistical analyses demonstrated high inter-rater reliability (ICC = 0.87) and strong internal consistency (Cronbach’s α = 0.89). Descriptive data revealed that while English students showed emerging abilities in thesis clarity and grammar, they struggled with supporting arguments and maintaining logical flow. The resulting rubric serves both as an assessment and instructional tool, helping educators diagnose English student needs and promote writing development. Unlike general-purpose rubrics or those designed for advanced English students, this rubric is specifically aligned with the challenges of early-stage academic writers. The study contributes to closing a gap in writing assessment tools and provides a practical resource for use in EFL classrooms

Abstract

This study explores the pivotal role of common sense in English Language Teaching (ELT), particularly in addressing the limitations of textbook-based instruction. While textbooks offer a structured foundation, they often lack the adaptability needed to meet the diverse needs, interests, and learning styles of students. Using a systematic and thematic literature review, this research examines how teachers’ practical judgment—rooted in experience, intuition, and contextual awareness—enhances lesson planning, classroom management, instructional strategies, and assessment. Findings reveal that common sense allows teachers to personalize learning, respond flexibly to challenges, and foster inclusive and dynamic classroom environments. Real-world case studies further demonstrate how teachers apply common sense to support student engagement, autonomy, creativity, and resilience. However, the study also acknowledges that common sense is inherently subjective and must be balanced with sound pedagogical principles. The research calls for the integration of common sense into teacher education and professional development as a vital pedagogical resource, emphasizing reflective practice and teacher agency. Ultimately, effective ELT requires not only theoretical knowledge but also the wisdom to apply it meaningfully in diverse classroom contexts.

Abstract

This autoethnographic study examines the lived experiences of learning English for Academic Purposes (EAP) within the Language Academic Preparation Program (LAPP), a key component of the Program Persiapan Studi Lanjut (PPSL) at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Drawing upon personal reflections and research journals, the study investigates how culturally responsive pedagogy, local wisdom, and immersive experiences shape academic language development. By engaging in activities such as traditional ceremonies, local arts performances, culinary practices, and educational field visits, the program contextualized English learning in ways that enhanced learner engagement and reinforced cultural identity. The findings suggest that EAP instruction becomes more effective and transformative when it integrates local cultural content with authentic learning contexts. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that autoethnography provides a valuable lens for capturing the emotional, intellectual, and pedagogical dimensions of language education. The main contribution of this research lies in proposing an alternative model of EAP instruction that is not only academically rigorous but also culturally grounded, offering new insights for the development of contextually relevant language education programs in Indonesia and beyond.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Membangun Karakter di Era AI (Menggabungkan Teknologi dan Nilai Kemanusiaan dalam Pendidikan). Jenis penelitian ini adalah iiterature reviw. Teknik pengambilan data dengan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitin adalah di era AI, membangun karakter dalam pendidikan memerlukan keseimbangan antara teknologi canggih dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Teknologi AI menawarkan banyak keuntungan dalam proses pembelajaran, namun penting untuk memastikan bahwa penggunaannya tidak mengesampingkan nilai-nilai etika, empati, dan moralitas. Pendidikan harus dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga siswa tidak hanya menjadi cerdas secara teknologi, tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang kuat dan berintegritas. Dengan menggabungkan AI dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, kita dapat menciptakan generasi yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan bijaksana dan berperilaku etis

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine how to apply hybrid learning in contextual English language learning in high school. Hybrid learning means a measurable combination of in-person and distance learning, which means that some students may attend the meeting face-to-face, while others may attend the meeting online. This study offers some ways to apply hybrid learning in contextual English language learning. The implementation of hybrid learning in contextual English needs to be tested, observed, and evaluated to make it successful at the future

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia dan terkenal di masyarakat internasional sebagai salah satu negara Islam moderat. Segala aspek bidang pemerintahan di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh Islam, salah satunya bidang sosial. Dalam bidang sosial masyarakat Muslim Indonesia bebas menyuarakan pendapatnya melalui teknologi yang akhir-akhir ini gencar dilakukan. Selain media sosial, media yang bisa digunakan adalah web komik. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai moderasi Islam yang termuat dalam web komik berbahasa Inggris "40 Sufi Comics". Penulisan ini menggunakan metode analisis struktur cerita. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini adalah bahwa dari empat cerita dalam web komik berbahasa Inggris "40 Sufi Comics", antara lain cerita berjudul ???Mother???, ???Truth about Lies???, ???Follow Principles???, dan ???The Stranger??? terdapat nilai-nilai moderasi Islam antara lain nilai kasih sayang, nilai kejujuran, nilai welas asih, dan nilai tolong menolong. Penanaman nilai kasih sayang, nilai kejujuran, nilai welas asih, dan nilai tolong menolong harus dilakukan sejak dini agar generasi penerus bangsa ini terhindar dari ekstremisme.
