Abstract

The aims of the research are to determine the effectiveness of problem-solving model with Media Tatiga Card to improve learning motivation and independence of animal tissue material students. The research method used is experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling, with each experimental class and control class. Data were collected using documentation method, observation sheet, questionnaire and test. The results showed that the average score of learning motivation and independence of the experimental class students of each aspect into the category very well. The result of gain test analysis of cognitive learning outcomes of students in experimental class = 0.48 in the medium category, in control class of gain test result = 0.28 in the low category. The result of test analysis of difference of two means to the value of learning motivation obtained Pcount = 12,35, and test of difference of two average value of independence obtained Pcount = 12,43 with Ptable = 1,96. While the results of t test analysis of student learning outcomes show t count = 4.13 and t table = 1.67. It was concluded that the problem-solving learning model with the media of Tatiga Card is effective to improve the motivation of learning and independence of the students of grade VII SMP N 10 Magelang, Which is seen from the average score of learning motivation and independence of the experimental class students of each aspect in the category is very good, there are significant differences in learning motivation, student independence and learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

Dalam rangka pembinaan untuk menjadi guru yang profesional, diperlukan Pengembangan Keprofesionalan Berkelanjutan (PKB). Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu dari unsur utama yang kegiatannya dapat diberikan angka kredit. Sementara masih sering dialami kendala yang terjadi disaat guru membuat proposal maupun laporan penelitian dalam pembuatan latar belakang, landasan teori, teknik pengumpulan data, analisis data bahkan dalam kaidah dan lain-lain, seperti halnya yang dialami oleh guru-guru anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) IPA Kabupaten Batang. Guru-guru masih mengalami kendala membuat rancangan maupun pelaksanaan PTK karena keterbatasan kemampuan guru maupun pembimbing yang berasal dari Guru Pemandu. Kegiatan di MGMP IPA SMP Kabupaten Batang, sebagai wadah pengembangan kompetensi guru, khususnya dalam pembuatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) masih belum maksimal. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru IPA dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, melaporkan, serta mempublikasikan hasil PTK pada jurnal ilmiah. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan PTK bagi guru-guru anggota MGMP IPA Kabupaten Batang. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan melalui tahap analisis masalah, paparan materi, diskusi dan pada akhir sesi dilakukan pendampingan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi kegiatan PTK. Pada akhir kegiatan pengabdian guru sasaran telah menghasilkan proposal PTK dan telah memiliki wawasan pengetahuan cara mempublikasikan pada jurnal ilmiah yang akan dituju.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan trend hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan media Electronic Portofolio yang teruji valid. Metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan diterapkan pada perkuliahan Praktikum IPA Dasar dengan menerapkan media Electronic Portofolio. Dari hasil uji pakar media dan pakar evaluasi merekomendasikan bahwa media Electronic Portofolio yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase kelayakan sangat layak dengan nilai presetase 96.55% sehingga dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Electronic Portofolio dapat menggambarkan dan meningkatkan trend prestasi mahasiswa dengan baik dari tiap projek maupun produk pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama perkuliahan. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to improve student learning outcomes trend using Electronic portfolio media that proven valid. Research and Development Methods were applied to the lectures of Basic Science Practicum by implementing Electronic portfolio media. From the results of the evaluation experts and media experts, it was recommended that the developed Electronic portfolio media eligibility got a very decent percentage with 96.55%. Therefore, it can be used in science teaching and learning. Electronic Portfolio was able to describe and improve student achievement with a good trend of each project as well as the products of learning undertaken during the lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh pendekatan JAS berbantuan LKS PBL dalam pembelajaran materi ekosistem terhadap penguasaan KPS siswa SMP Negeri 3 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pra Eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, kelas VII H sebagai kelas eksperimen sedangkan kelas VII J sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, lembar observasi, tes dan metode angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji koefisien korelasi nilai observasi sebesar 0,83 dan nilai koefisien determinasi 68,8% sedangkan dari nilai posttest sebesar 0,71 dan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 50,3%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan JAS berbantuan LKS PBL berpengaruh kuat terhadap KPS siswa.This research was to explain the influence of the Jelajah Alam Sekitar approach assisted by Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet in teaching the ecosystem for the student’s science process skills at Junior High School 3 Ungaran. This research was an Experimental Research with Pre design Experiments. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, class VII H as an experimental class while the class VII J as the control class. Data collected by using the method of documentation, observation sheets, test and questionnaire. The results showed observation correlation coefficient was 0,83 and magnified determination coefficient was 68,8% meanwhile correlation coefficient posttest value was 0,71 and magnified determination coefficient was 50,3 %. It can be concluded that Jelajah Alam Sekitar approach assisted Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet has strong influence toward the student science process skill.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan saintifik model Project Based Learning tema ekosistem untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, dengan masing-masing kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, lembar observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan saintifik dengan model PjBL efektif untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar sisa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran yang dilihat dari rata-rata persentase kemandirian belajar siswa kelas eksperimen tiap aspek yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan dari peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen masuk kategori tinggi. Kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. AbstractThis research was to determine the effectiveness of the Scientific approach with model Project Based Learning theme ecosystem to grow independent learning junior high school students. This study was an experimental study with design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, experimental class control class. Data was collected using the method of documentation, observation sheets, test and questionnaire. The results showed that the students' independence learning in the category very good for all indicators, independent learning in experiment class and control class show significant different. The conclution at these research that the scientific approach with models PjBL effective to grow student learning independence.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Ketersedian alat-alat praktikum dalam pembelajaran IPA sangat dibutuhkan untuk dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 10 Semarang intensitas praktikum rendah karena ketiadaan alat-alat praktikum yang mendukung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Intensitas praktikum yang rendah mengakibatkan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu variabel yang turut mempengaruhi pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Ketersediaan alat-alat praktikum yang tidak lengkap menuntut guru untuk tetap dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung peserta didik untuk dapat melakukan praktikum secara virtual. Media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung pelaksanaan praktikum secara virtual adalah virtual laboratory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui pengaruh virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada tema optik kelas VIII SMP. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besar korelasi pemahaman konsep peserta didik adalah 0,660 yang menunjukkan dalam kategori kuat dan hasil analisis korelasi keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 0,729 berdasarkan data observasi dan 0,69 berdasarkan data posttest yang menunjukkan dalam kategori kuat. Pengaruh dari penggunaan virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik sebesar 43,53%, sedangkan pengaruh dari penggunaan virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 53,14% berdasarkan data observasi dan 47,06% berdasarkan data posttest. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa terdapat pengaruh virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Abstract___________________________________________________________________ Availability of practical tools in learning of science subject is needed to achieve the learning objectives. Based on observations in Junior High School 10 Semarang, practicum low intensity because of practical tools ara not available that support learning activities. The intensity of practicum is low, it make critical thinking skills of students is low. Critical thinking skills to be one of the variables that influence of understanding concept of learners. Availability of practicum tools that incomplete requires teachers to achieve the learning objectives by using media that can support learners to be able to do practicum virtually. Media that can support to do practicum virtually is a virtual laboratory. This study aims to determine the influence of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts understanding concepts and critical thinking skills of students in grade VIII SMP in optical theme. The population used in this study were all students of grade VIII Junior High School 10 Semarang academic year 2015/2016. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and obtained VIII C as the experimental class and VIII F as the control class. The design of study is nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the correlation value of understanding concept of students is 0.660 which shows in the strong category and correlation analysis of students' critical thinking skills of 0,729 based on observational data and 0.69 based on the posttest data that shows in the strong category. The influence of the use of virtual laboratory-based flash animation againts understanding concept of students is 43.53%, whereas the influence the use of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts the critical thinking skills of students is 53.14% based on observational data and 47.06% based on the posttest data. The conclusion is there are infuence of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts understanding concepts and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this research was to develop science mobile learning conservation vission based on android app inventor well tested and find out the user response to the application of mobile learning science as supplement materials of learning mobile based. The methodology used in the making of this application is the waterfall methodology. Science mobile learning applications conservation vission is expected to help the students in particular and the scientific community in general to get the ease of learning science concepts using a Smartphone device without having to print using paper (paperless). Applications of science mobile learning include by supporting features of images, videos and quizzes. The conclusions in this research that has generated the application of science mobile learning conservation vision feasible to use to learn the concept of science and efforts to reduce the use of paper (paperless), application of science mobile learning get good response from the community of users related to accessibility, suitability of the features and content of science, and its utilization which supports reducing the use of paper.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of the application of the group investigation cooperative learning model on critical thinking skills and the scientific communication skills of students. True Experimental Design in the form of Posttest-Only Control Design is a research design applied to this research. Analysis of the data obtained showed that the correlation coefficient value of the critical thinking skills test data was r = 0.672. The results of the t-test analysis showed that t-count = 5.671 and t-table = 2.042, which means that there is an influence on the application of the cooperative learning type group investigation model in the experimental class as seen from the coefficient of determination (KD) of 33%. The value of the correlation coefficient in the analysis of students' scientific communication skills data is r = 0.9. The value obtained from the calculation of the t-test is t = 3,576 and t table = 3,182 which means that there is an influence on students' scientific communication skills after the implementation of the cooperative learning model group investigation type. The coefficient of determination of students' scientific communication skills is 81%. The conclusion that can be drawn from the research that has been carried out is that there is an influence on the ability to think critically and the scientific communication skills of students after the implementation of the cooperative learning model group investigation type in the learning process.

Abstract

Science learning media based on Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR) has been developed. This research aims to determine the level of applicability of science learning media based on Merge Cube AR to users, especially junior high school science teachers. The research method was carried out through a descriptive survey after testing the use of science learning media based on Merge Cube Augmented Reality. The respondents of this research were 41 teachers from 13 different junior hight schools. Based on the analysis data showed that respondents were very confident of being able to apply Merge Cube AR media in science learning and the percentage of applicability level in this description reach 87.8%, those indicate that the media is in very good criteria. Teachers are very confident that they can achieve learning goals by implementing Merge Cube AR learning media. The percentage of applicability level in this description reach 82.9%, those indicate that the media is in very good criteria. The results of the analysis also show that teachers are strongly believe that the Merge Cube AR media helps them in a more effective way to deliver science learning activity. The percentage of applicability level in this description reach 90.3%, those also indicate that the media is in very good criteria. The average percentage of applicability level reach 87.0 %, it is indicated that the applicability level of science learning media based on merge cube ar in the very good criteria. It can be concluded that science learning media based on Merge Cube AR has a very good level of applicability and can be used in science learning.
