Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyse: (1) the plan (2) the implementation, and (3) the evaluation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management in the workshop of the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (YSU). This study was categorised into descriptive study that scientifically explained the workplace environment of the workshop specifically in terms of the OSH management. The data collection techniques used observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data of this study was analysed descriptively. This study presented the detailed descriptions of the collected data in the field. The results revealed (1) It is crucial to develop a more systematic OSH management plan in the workshop of the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, YSU (2) the planning policies and the implementation of the OSH management need a continual improvement  and (3) the evaluation of the OSH management should be conducted simultaneously by the stakeholders, the lecturers and the technicians. (4) The OSH policy in the practices should be properly organised to promote the OSH culture in the workshop. (5) The OSH management control and review were prioritised for fostering the effectiveness of the OSH management implementation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan  evaluasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di Bengkel Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan FT UNY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (descriptive reasearch) yang memaparkan secara ilmiah keadaan di lingkungan bengkel khususnya mengenai aspek K3. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan secara detail terhadap apa yang ditemukan dalam pengambilan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan K3 di bengkel masih perlu diperbaiki agar lebih matang dan sistematis. (2) Pelaksanaan K3 di bengkel masih perlu ditingkatkan terkait dengan kebijakan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. (3) Evaluasi K3 di bengkel perlu dilakukan secara simultan oleh pihak penentu kebijakan, dosen, dan teknisi. (4) Budaya K3 di bengkel masih perlu ditingkatkan dengan penetapan kebijakan mengenai K3 dalam proses pembelajaran praktik. (5) Faktor peninjauan dan peningkatan kinerja K3 perlu dilakukan untuk menjamin kesesuaian dan efektivitas penerapan sesuai Sistem Manajemen K3.

Abstract

Kegiatan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang berbasis kompetensi dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas lulusan siswa SMKN 2 Wonosari dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan guru produktif SMKN 2 Wonosari di bidang pengembangan instruksional, khususnya pengembangan instruksional melalui hasil penelitian tindakan kelas.Metode kegiatan yang dipilih antara lain: metode ceramah, latihan mandiri terbimbing, pendampingan peserta, dan presentasi hasil. Langkah-langkah kegiatan terdiri atas: pembuatan materi, mempersiapkan alat dan bahan yang digunakan, serta melakukan pelatihan serta drafting PTK. Kegiatan diselenggarakan di luar jam pembelajaran dan tidak mengganggu proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah. Pola evaluasi meliputi evaluasi selama proses pelatihan dan evaluasi hasil.Hasil kegiatan antara lain: peserta pelatihan sebagian besar masih memerlukan pelatihan pengembangan lainnya, terutama untuk pengembangan penelitian tindakan kelas; terdapat penambahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru-guru SMKN 2 Wonosari, terutama dalam implementasi penelitian tindakan kelas serta dapat digeneralisasikan pada kelas lain yang mempunyai karakteriktis sama.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan video pembelajaran OpenStreetMap untuk pembuatan peta digital format shapefile menggunakan ArcGIS. Pengembangan video pembelajaran ini dimaksudkan untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran pada Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan FT UNY pada kompetensi pembuatan peta digital mata kuliah Praktikum Geomatika II. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (RD) yang mengacu pada model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate) oleh Thiagarajan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang diberikan kepada ahli materi, ahli media dan pengguna (mahasiswa). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pegembangan media pembelajaran Video OpenStreetMap pembuatan peta digital format shapefile menggunakan ArcGIS dengan model penelitian 4D. Hasil define menghasilkan kebutuhan media pembelajaran video pembuatan peta digital OpenStreetMap. Design menghasilkan konsep media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, materi yang sesuai, narasi materi video pembelajaran, layout video pembelajaran serta produk yang dihasilkan berupa video pembelajaran dengan teknik animasi dan screen record berformat. Tahap development berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi diperoleh hasil sebesar 3,55 dengan kategori sangat layak, dari ahli media diperoleh hasil sebesar 3,50 dengan kategori sangat layak serta penilaian oleh pengguna (mahasiswa) dengan hasil sebesar 3,57 dengan kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Technological advances have made possible to reduce limitation of space and time in learning. Students can interact with teachers and other students indirectly without face to face meetings through e-learning media. To create effective e-learning media, factors to be mainly considered are multimedia learning principles, one of which is contiguity. Thus, this study was aimed at developing e-learning media with the contiguity principle and examining its quality. The media were tested for measuring its effectiveness by statistically analyzing the differences in students’ learning achievement and motivation. This study was research and development using quasi experimental techniques whose subject is Vocational High School also known as Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The result of this study was e-learning media with the contiguity principle. The feasibility evaluation showed that the product had good quality in the aspects of media and materials. The effectiveness testing showed insignificant differences in learning achievement and motivation between the students using e-learning media with the contiguity principle and without the contiguity principle with the scores of 0.325 and 0.873 respectively.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman warga masyarakat di sekitar Ruas Kali Jetis, Kecamatan Jatinom, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah tentang pemetaan kawasan wisata guna pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Sasaran kegiatan kelompok masyarakat yang akan dijadikan sasaran kegiatan PPM yang dalam hal ini, yaitu: (1) perangkat desa di sekitar Ruas Kali Jetis, (2) organisasi pemuda dan karang taruna dan pengurus pemuda dusun yang ada di desa tersebut, (3) tokoh masyarakat dan pemuka agama desa di sekitar Ruas Kali Jetis. Pendekatan yang dilakukan seperti pelatihan dan pendampingan, survey lapangan, pemetaan pendahuluan, pemetaan detail, pemetaan ulang, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, dan penyusunan laporan pemetaan. Tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini adalah pengembangan sarana dan prasarana sesuai dengan hasil pemetaan Kawasan Wisata di Ruas Kali Jetis, Jatinom, Klaten. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pemetaan di Kawasan Ruas Kali Jetis, Kecamatan Jatinom, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah dapat disimpulkan berjalan dengan baik serta mendapatkan tanggapan positif dari warga masyarakat dan perangkat desa. Warga cukup antusias dengan serangkaian kegiatan yang telah didesain.  Warga setempat juga terlibat langsung dalam pembangunan sarana dan prasarana kawasasn wisata di Ruas Kali Jetis. Output dari kegiatan pemetaan ini adalah gambar eksisting dan rencana Kawasan Wisata.

Due to limited learning resources and low student grades in the Geomatics course, it is very important to carry out this research to improve the quality of special learning activities in the Geomatics course. This research aims to develop a route analysis learning module based on Google Earth Road Classification. This research uses the Thiagarajan Research and Development (R&D) model, known as 4D design. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire to reveal the validity of the product based on material experts, media experts, and user responses. The result of this research is a product development using a 4D R&D model with stages (1) defining, which refers to needs based on competency in Geomatics subjects, especially in operating the Google Earth application; (2) design, which includes four learning activities on A4 paper size and 12pt Arial font; (3) development, which was completed with validation results from material experts totaling 122 scores with an average of 4.07 (suitable); from media experts, 201 scores with an average of 4.28 (very appropriate); as well as the development stage. user feasibility results of 3666 scores with an average of 4.52 (very feasible); (4) the dissemination stage, which is carried out by distributing learning modules to lecturers in geomatics courses and uploading the products developed to Google Drive to be used as learning media. The implications of this research will provide changes to learning activities, and the existence of learning modules is expected to improve student learning outcomes.
