Abstract

This community service partner is the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMNag) Bukit Gadang Mandiri Nagari Sikabau, Dharmasraya Regency. This service activity was carried out to contribute ideas and counseling about the institutional strengthening of BUMNag Bukit Gadang Mandiri in the Management of Wealth Resources of Nagari Sikabau, Dharmasraya Regency. BUMNag is a pillar of economic activity in Nagari which functions as a social institution and commercial institution to be able to encourage the economy of Nagari, with the hope of prospering the economy of the Nagari community. The methods and approaches used include education, socialization, training, and mentoring "participatory rural appraisal". This training stage begins with a survey and the establishment of goals and objectives to be achieved. This service program has a significant impact in increasing the knowledge, skills, and skills of partners in understanding institutional capacity building and being able to formulate and find new business units that can be used as BUMNag based on the characteristics and wealth of the Nagari.

Abstract

This community service partner is the Preparation Nagari Government Lingkuang Aua Bandarejo and Preparation Nagari Government Mahakarya, which are two of the seventy-two Nagari resulting from the division in West Pasaman Regency in 2018 based on the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 01 of 2017 concerning Village Arrangements. It is known that the Nagari resulting from this division does not yet have a Nagari-Owned Enterprise (BUM-Nag). So the purpose of this service activity is to provide assistance and counseling about the formation of BUM-Nag, contribute ideas and describe the importance of the existence of BUM-Nag. BUM-Nag is an alternative business entity that needs to be developed to encourage the Nagari economy, with the hope of creating new economic resources for Nagari to use and for the welfare of the Nagari community. Methods and approaches used: education, socialization, training, and mentoring “participatory rural appraisal”. This training phase begins with a survey and the establishment of goals and objectives to be achieved. This service program has a significant impact in increasing the knowledge, abilities, and skills of partners in the preparation of Nagari regulations regarding the formation of BUM-Nag, and partners can understand well about strengthening BUM-Nag institutions.

Abstract

Masyarakat kelurahan Lambung Bukit Kota Padang berada di kawasan pinggir perkotaan masih menghadapi masalah sampah. Di sisi lain, sampah tersebut masih dapat didaur ulang menjadi barang bernilai dan bahkan dapat menjadi sumber pendapatan. Adapun tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah memberikan informasi dan meningkatkan kesadaran ibu rumah tangga tentang pemanfaatan sampah dapur yang merupakan sampah organic terutama di lokasi mitra yang memiliki masalah pengelolaan sampah. Pelatihan pembuatan ecoenzyme ini dirancang dengan beberapa tahapan, yang meliputi uji coba skala kecil, pemaparan materi, praktik langsung oleh peserta, pemantauan fermentasi selama tiga bulan, dan panen ecoenzyme untuk disinfektan. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, setiap peserta diwawancarai secara langsung dan diperoleh data bahwa pengetahuan terhadap daur ulang sampah dapur meningkat hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil wawancara terhadap peserta. Peserta menyatakan tertarik untuk membuat ecoenzyme sendiri di rumah setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini.

Abstract

This community service activity is an advanced stage for the second year, funded by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Negeri Padang. This activity aims to assist in increasing the knowledge and skills of Nagari Suayan officials in conducting technology-based community satisfaction surveys (SKM) in the form of utilizing SKM kiosk machines and activities to analyze SKM results data. The SKM Kiosk is an SKM survey recording machine that utilizes digital technology. The method in this activity uses training and mentoring, "participatory extension". The results achieved in this activity included the following: Apparatus became skilled and accustomed to using/utilizing SKM Kiosk machines, making it easier for them to record SKM surveys and apparatus were also able to analyze and process SKM results data and were able to interpret data analysis results and be able to provide solutions or breakthroughs (innovations) in realizing services that satisfy the community towards excellent service in the Nagari.

Abstract

The issue of environmental pollution due to waste is the most complex problem currently being faced by the nagari government. The high level of waste generated from trading activities makes the entire length of the Nagari market alley dirty and smelly due to the accumulation of vegetable and fruit waste. Nagari Sikabau with a population of 9,268 people spread across 11 jorongs has the potential to generate household waste of up to 5 tons per day. Efforts to deal with waste by transporting waste to final disposal sites (TPA) carried out by waste transport officers cannot solve the problem. Guidance through education, training and assistance in processing organic waste into multi-purpose eco enzymes for the environmentally conscious group (pokdarling) of Nagari Sikabau youth has increased literacy, motivation and skills to make changes in waste management to the community-based waste management paradigm. Currently, Pokdarling as a community has become a pioneer for the Nagari Sikabau Community and is able to produce eco enzyme liquid which will be converted into economically valuable products.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce teaching materials in student worksheets based on contextual teaching and learning and to determine the validity and practicality of the student worksheets developed. The research method used is educational design research (EDR), with the Plomp development model carried out until the validity and practicality test stages are achieved. This development research shows that the contextual teaching and learning-based student worksheets developed are valid and practical. This is supported by the validation results, which have an average value of 0.91 and are included in the very valid category. The practicality results obtained from the small group test of students get a percentage of 95%, and the percentage result from the teacher is 92%, which is included in the Highly practical category. These results indicate that the student worksheets developed are feasible to be applied to learning to help students' understanding of concepts on the material of the periodic system of elements and encourage students to become active, creative, and critical learners. The results of this study indicate that the student worksheets developed are suitable for use in the learning process on the material of the periodic system of elements in phase E Senior High School.

Abstract

Pasaman District is the largest corn producer in West Sumatra Province, one of the villages is Lingkuang Aua Bandarajo, where the majority of the population work as corn farmers. This amount is directly proportional to the amount of corn cob waste produced from agricultural activities. Based on the results of observations and interviews with local communities, it is known that the processing of corn cob waste has not been carried out optimally, because people tend to burn the corn cobs, which has an impact on environmental pollution. One solution that can be provided is to hold training on processing corn cob waste into charcoal briquettes. This PKM activity was carried out offline with 3 sessions, namely a session presenting material regarding business opportunities and how to make corn cob briquettes, practice accompanied by a team and independent practice. Through this PKM activity, it is known that there has been an increase in knowledge about corn cob briquettes by the youth of the village of Aua Bandarajo. The corn cob briquettes produced can be a source of renewable fuel and can also improve the economy of local communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh msikonspsi siswa terhadap materi hidrolisis, yaitu jenis materi hidrolisis dan pH materi hidrolisis. Selain itu, keterampilan proses sains dalam proses pembelajaran kimia belum sepenuhnya terlaksana. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perbaikan agar KPS peserta didik dapat meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi hidrolisis garam untuk melatihkan KPS peserta didik yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Educational Design Research (EDR). Selain itu, model plomp adalah model pengembangan yang digunakan. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga orang dosen kimia UNP, dua orang guru kimia, dan lima belas orang peserta didik SMAN 3 Payakumbuh. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan valid dengan nilai V = 0,94292. Dan uji praktikalitas (small group) oleh guru kimia dan peserta didik diperoleh data sebesar 94% dan 88% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi hidrolisis garam untuk melatih KPS peserta didik pada fase F valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Students' misunderstandings and low level of active involvement in learning chemical equilibrium and the incomplete application of problem-based learning models. This study was motivated by students' misconceptions and low active involvement in learning chemical equilibrium material. In addition, the implementation of the problem-based learning model has not been fully realized, and students still experience difficulties in connecting and applying chemical concepts to everyday life. The purpose of this study is to develop a problem-based learning e-worksheet with prompting question techniques on chemical equilibrium material that is valid and practical. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the Plomp model, which includes the preliminary research and prototyping phases. Validity analysis techniques were analyzed using Aiken's V scale, and practicality analysis techniques were analyzed using a percentage formula. The validity analysis yielded an average score of 0.925, which is considered valid. The practicality test results showed that the e-worksheet is highly practical, with an average score of 94.375% from teachers and 89.38% from students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of an e-worksheet based on problem-based learning with prompting question techniques on chemical equilibrium material is valid and very practical.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu dari empat keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil PISA tahun 2022, kemampuan literasi peserta didik Indonesia mengalami penurunan. Kemampuan literasi berkaitan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik seperti kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, berpikir induktif dan deduktif, memecahkan masalah, dan merumuskan kesimpulan. Pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, salah satunya dengan menerapkan model discovery learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan meta-analisis dan tahapan PRISMA. Berbagai artikel penelitian yang publish di google scholar antara tahun 2018-2023 dikumpulkan menggunakan aplikasi publish or perish menggunakan keyword “discovery learning”, “kimia”, “model pembelajaran”, sehingga di hasilkan 500 artikel. Dilakukan screning terhadap artikel jurnal tersebut berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti, sehingga di dapatkan 4 artikel jurnal yang dihitung effect sizenya. Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran kimia, dengan nilai rata-rata effect size sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori sedang.
