Abstract

Tantangan abad 21 menuntut siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sejak dini. Sekolah diharapkan mampu menghasilkan generasi yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, inovatif, komunikatif, kolaboratif, kompetitif, dan berkarakter. Project Based Learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk melatihkan softskills, hardskills, dan karakter yang kuat dengan melakukan analisis dan melibatkan kemampuan kolaborasi dan komunikasi dalam waktu tertentu. Permasalahnnya adalah mitra, MGMP Guru IPA Kabupaten Magetan, belum terbiasa menyusun bahan ajar PjBL sehingga membutuhkan pelatihan dan pendampingan sehingga mitra dapat meningkatkan keterampilannya dalam menyusun bahan ajar tersebut. Selain itu, bahan ajar PjBL yang tersedia tidak semua sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan dibagi menjadi empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, pemaparan materi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini terlihat pada nilai pretest dan posttest yang mengalami peningkatan serta karya LKPD PjBL guru yang dapat digunakan di satuan Pendidikan masing-masing.

Abstract

This research aims to describe improving cognitive learning outcomes using a model Problem Based Learning (PBL), as well as students' responses to learning in class. This research is classroom action research (PTK). Participants in this research were 29 class VIII junior high school students. The data collection technique used was the test method, and questionnaires were then analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The research results obtained show that the value of students' cognitive learning outcomes has increased quite significantly, where in cycle I and cycle II there has been an increase in learning completeness in terms of test results. pretest and posttest. Results of analysis of student responses to learning problem based learning also shows positive response results from students with very good criteria. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the learning model problem based learning in improving cognitive learning outcomes in terms of learning completeness and positive responses by junior high school students in class VIII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan guru SMP An-Najiyah dalam menggunakan teknologi video H5P untuk mendukung pembelajaran interaktif, khususnya dalam memperkuat profil pelajar Pancasila. Mitra dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMP An-Najiyah dengan jumlah partisipan sekitar 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi pasca pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terkait pemanfaatan teknologi H5P, dengan mayoritas peserta (90%) merasa materi sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kami merekomendasikan peningkatan frekuensi dan sumber daya pelatihan serupa untuk memperluas manfaatnya kepada lebih banyak guru, serta integrasi teknologi pembelajaran ini dalam kurikulum sekolah secara reguler untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Video-Based Interactive Learning Training (H5P) for Strengthening Pancasila Students of An-Najiyah Junior High School This study aimed to enhance the skills of teachers at SMP An-Najiyah in utilizing H5P video technology to support interactive learning, specifically to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. The partners in this research were teachers from SMP An-Najiyah with approximately 20 participants involved. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), which included stages of preparation, training implementation and mentoring, and post-training evaluation. The results indicated a significant improvement in the teachers' understanding and skills regarding the use of H5P technology, with the majority of participants (90%) feeling that the material was highly relevant to their needs. Based on these findings, we recommend increasing the frequency and resources of similar training sessions to extend their benefits to more teachers, and integrating this learning technology into the school curriculum regularly to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) ke dalam Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pelatihan yang terfokus. Menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), program ini melibatkan 26 guru IPA dari Pasuruan, Indonesia, dalam workshop berstruktur berbasis AI menggunakan PowerPoint sebagai alat pembelajaran. Fase pelatihan meliputi persiapan, pelatihan langsung dengan kegiatan praktis, dan evaluasi pasca-pelatihan untuk memastikan transfer dan penerapan keterampilan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan skor pengetahuan fitur AI meningkat dari 46,8% menjadi 61,5% untuk fungsi utama dan dari 59,6% menjadi 73,1% untuk transisi animasi. Umpan balik menyoroti perlunya penambahan durasi pelatihan dan sesi tatap muka yang berkelanjutan untuk mengoptimalkan pemahaman. Studi ini merekomendasikan pelatihan berkala yang berkelanjutan, terutama dengan memasukkan sesi praktis dan dukungan mentor, guna memperkuat kompetensi AI dan menjembatani kesenjangan akses teknologi di wilayah pendidikan pedesaan. Optimizing the Independent Curriculum through Teacher Training Assistance to Implement AI Technology in the Development of Learning Media This study aims to enhance teacher competence in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into the Independent Curriculum through focused training. Utilizing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program engaged 26 science teachers from Pasuruan, Indonesia, in a structured AI-based workshop using PowerPoint as a teaching tool. The training phases included preparation, direct training with hands-on activities, and post-training evaluation to ensure skill transfer and application. The results of the program showed significant improvements, with knowledge scores on AI features rising from 46.8% to 61.5% for core functions and from 59.6% to 73.1% for animation transitions. Feedback highlighted the need for extended training duration and ongoing face-to-face sessions to optimize understanding. This study recommends sustained, periodic training, especially incorporating practical and mentor-supported sessions, to strengthen AI competencies and bridge technology access gaps in rural educational settings

Abstract

The implementation of STEAM-PjBL integration trains students to work together to build their own knowledge, construct ideas, critical thinking in analyzing problems, then try to solve them through a project. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of STEAM-PjBL integration to train the critical thinking skills of prospective science teachers through entrepreneurship courses. This research is a descriptive study with a one short case study design. The research subjects were students of Science Education Class of 2021. The instruments used were tests of critical thinking skills and questionnaires on student responses to learning. Test result were analyzed using N-gain and paired t test, the response questionnaire was analyzed descriptively. The results showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills test scores, and positive responses with an average of >83.6%. Based on this, it can be concluded that STEAM-PjBL integration is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The inquiry learning model is a model that facilitates the construction of students' scientific knowledge which can also improve students' argumentation skills. According to several research results, inquiry-based learning has proven to be effective in improving scientific argumentation skills because in the learning process students are directed in investigative activities to find scientific evidence as a basis for scientific argumentation. By considering the student learning process, the aim of this research is to describe whether the use of three types of inquiry learning models can teach fluid material and influence the student learning process, one of which is students' argumentation abilities. This research method uses mixed method triangulation. The instruments used were interview questionnaires and argumentation tests. The data obtained was then analyzed using simple statistical tests and N-gain scores. Interview data was analyzed to find out clarification of students' answers. The research results of the inquiry learning model were successful in developing argumentation skills, namely the n-gain score resulted in the use of the structured inquiry learning model gaining 0.88, the guided inquiry learning model 0.84 and the open inquiry learning model 0.74.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the skills that must be possessed in the 21st century, especially by pre-service science teachers. However, in fact, the quality of pre-service science teacher creativity still needs to be improved. Therefore, this research aims to increase the creativity of pre-service science teachers through STEM Problem-Solving. This research uses a one group pretest posttest design. The sample in this study was 53 pre-service science teachers in the science education department at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Increasing the quality of pre-service science teacher creativity is measured based on pretest and posttest scores. The pretest and posttest scores were then analyzed using N-Change. Apart from that, it was also analyzed statistically using paired t-test. This is used to ensure that STEM Problem-Solving really has an effect on increasing the creativity of pre-service science teachers. The research results show that STEM Problem-Solving is proven to significantly increase the creativity of pre-service science teachers. The category of increasing pre-service science teacher creativity is in the medium category. The majority of pre-service science teachers' final creative quality is in the creative category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze improvements in students’ science literacy following the implementation of the discovery learning model. The research design used is a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students in class IX-G at SMPN 11 Surabaya. The research instruments used were pretests and posttests. The data analysis techniques used were the normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test. The average N-Gain score obtained was 0.50, which falls into the moderate improvement category. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percentage for all students showed that 11% of students experienced improvement in the high category. A total of 75% showed moderate improvement. Meanwhile, the remaining 14% of students had low N-Gain scores. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model can improve students’ science literacy. A suggestion for future research is that this model could be applied to different subject materials or educational levels.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students' critical thinking skills in science learning, particularly on the topic of the human respiratory system, which is abstract in nature, as well as the lack of active student engagement in the learning process. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills, the implementation of learning, and students’ responses to the implementation of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by 3D animation. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pre-test post-test. The subjects of this study were 27 students of class VIII D at MTs Negeri 4 Surabaya. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test), observation sheets of learning implementation, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that there was an improvement in students' critical thinking skills, indicated by an increase in the average score from 46.67 to 67.04. The t-test results revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05). The average N-Gain score was 0.37, categorized as moderate. In addition, the implementation of learning was categorized as very good, and students’ responses were also in the very good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by 3D animation is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
