Abstract

Provinsi Kepulauan Riau merupakan daerah yang terkena dampak penyebaran virus corona khususnya Batam dari 12 kecamatan yang ada di Batam, kasus positif Corona sudah menyebar di 7 kecamatan, itupun Wali Kota Batam meminta bantuan seluruh masyarakat untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat, untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah kota Batam kami mengadakan pelatihan bagi siswa SMK N 3 kota Batam dengan sistem pembelajaran online atau online. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, terkadang membuat SMK cepat tertinggal dalam hal penguasaan teknologi jika guru pengajarnya tidak mengupdate kemampuannya. Salah satu teknologi yang banyak diterapkan di industri adalah teknologi Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini dimaksudkan untuk berbagi pengetahuan tentang teknologi SCADA bagi siswa SMK Negeri 3 Batam, SMK N 3 Batam memiliki beberapa jurusan. Salah satu jurusan Teknik Elektronika Industri, jumlah mahasiswa yang masuk bidang keahlian ini sebanyak 30 mahasiswa kelas XI. Siswa di kelas ini adalah siswa yang dipersiapkan untuk terjun langsung ke dunia industri setelah lulus, namun hanya 28 siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan. Masalah yang dihadapi selama proses kegiatan adalah jaringan yang kurang stabil sehingga menyebabkan beberapa kali koneksi internet terputus dan membuat penyampaian materi menjadi tidak jelas.

Abstract

Stroke is a leading cause of death and permanent disability in Indonesia, where prevalence rose from 8.3 per 1,000 population in 2013 to 10.9 per 1,000 in 2018, creating an urgent need for accurate early detection. This study develops and compares stroke risk prediction models based on Naive Bayes (NB) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), each integrated with the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to handle class imbalance. The dataset consists of 512 medical records from a hospital in Batam collected between 2020 and 2023, covering 12 demographic, clinical, and lifestyle predictors. SMOTE was applied only to the training data of an 80 to 20 split, yielding a balanced distribution of 258 samples per class. The KNN parameter K was tuned over eight odd values and 7 was found optimal. Evaluation on 103 test records shows that KNN consistently outperforms Naive Bayes, with accuracy of 91.3 against 81.6 percent, F1-Score of 89.2 against 79.9 percent, and AUC of 0.934 against 0.862. SMOTE raised recall of the Stroke class by 18.8 percentage points. Blood glucose, age, and systolic blood pressure were the three strongest predictors. The model is proposed as an Early Warning System module for hospital information systems.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service aims to optimize students' potential in making presentations. Prezi application that is used to make presentations for students in making presentation materials. the implementation method begins with (1) Introduction: creating a virtual class using google classroom. Then upload applications and materials and register all trainees in the class. The application has been installed before the implementation of the training. Stage (2) Implementation: service is carried out using a zoom meeting which explains the importance of innovation in making presentations. Participants are divided into small groups according to their field, and demonstrate their use using a computer. Each group chooses one material for their presentation. Each group makes a presentation of the material that has been prepared. Each group can be creative with the presenters if they have difficulty. Stage (3) Evaluation: each group presents the material that has been prepared previously. The presenters provide input so that the presentations made can be better. These results train teamwork in producing the best work, train creativity in the use of computer application technology to increase learning creativity, make it easier to see material in one main image. Keywords: Community Service; Prezi; Work Team; SMK Putra Jaya School.  Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi siswa dalam membuat presentasi. Aplikasi Prezi digunakan untuk membuat presentasi bagi siswa dalam membuat materi presentasi. Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan (1) Pendahuluan: membuat kelas maya menggunakan google classroom. Kemudian mengunggah aplikasi dan materi serta mendaftarkan semua peserta pelatihan pada classroom tersebut. Aplikasi sudah diinstal sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan. Tahap (2) Pelaksanaan: pengabdian dilakukan menggunakan zoom meeting yang menjelaskan pentingnya inovasi dalam pembuatan presentasi. Peserta dibagi dalam kelompok kecil sesuai bidangnya, dan mendemonstrasikan penggunaanya menggunakan komputer. Setiap kelompok memilih satu materi ajar untuk dibuatkan presentasinya. Setiap kelompok membuat presentasi dari materi yang telah disiapkan. Setiap kelompok dapat berdiskusi dengan pemateri jika mengalami kesulitan. Tahap (3) Evaluasi: setiap kelompok mempresentasikan materi yang telah disiapkan sebelumnya. Pemateri memberi masukan agar presentasi yang dibuat dapat lebih baik. Hasil pelatihan ini melatih kerja sama tim dalam menghasilkan karya terbaik, melatih kreatifitas dalam penggunakan teknologi aplikasi komputer untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas belajar, memudahkan melihat materi dalam satu gambar utama. Kata kunci: Pengabdian Masyarakat; Prezi; Tim Kerja; SMK Putra Jaya School.

Abstract

The Level 2 Working at Height (TKBT) training conducted by PT Batamindo Investment Cakrawala produced 22 certified employees across four divisions. However, post-training recommendations from the HRD unit identified the absence of a periodic monitoring mechanism for certificate validity periods and personal protective equipment usage, while all record keeping remained paper-based and spreadsheet-driven. This condition creates a compliance risk against Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 9 of 2016, as expired certificates may go undetected before employees are assigned to work at height. This community service program aims to strengthen the partner's occupational safety competency certification governance through the design, implementation, and mentoring of a web-based information system. The implementation method consists of six stages: situation analysis, requirements analysis, system design, construction, socialisation and training, and operational mentoring. The system was developed using a three-tier architecture and comprises four core modules: certificate record management, automated validity notification, divisional recapitulation dashboard, and digital document archiving. Program effectiveness was measured using a pre-test and post-test design with a 20-item instrument covering four knowledge domains, analysed using normalized gain. Functional testing was conducted using the black box method, while user acceptance was measured using the System Usability Scale. The results show that participants' average knowledge score increased from 51.4 in the pre-test to 86.4 in the post-test, with a normalized gain of 0.72 categorised as high. Black box testing achieved a 90 percent success rate and the System Usability Scale score reached 82.5, indicating good user acceptance.

Abstract

Pengembangan kapasitas guru merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya di lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Di SMK Negeri 7 Batam, upaya membangun kerja tim di antara guru melalui workshop menjadi strategi penting untuk menciptakan kolaborasi yang efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak workshop dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teamwork guru serta kontribusinya terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap 15 guru peserta workshop. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dengan triangulasi untuk menjaga validitas hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa workshop berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam aspek komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Sekitar 80% peserta melaporkan adanya peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam bekerja sama serta kemampuan mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran lintas disiplin. Beberapa guru mulai merancang proyek kolaboratif antarjurusan yang menciptakan suasana belajar lebih inovatif. Meskipun demikian, tantangan berupa perbedaan pendapat dan konflik kelompok tetap muncul, sehingga dukungan berkelanjutan dari manajemen sekolah diperlukan. Kesimpulannya, workshop pengembangan kapasitas guru di SMK Negeri 7 Batam efektif dalam memperkuat teamwork, menciptakan budaya kolaboratif, serta berpotensi memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran di pendidikan vokasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a purchasing order application at the Faculty of Engineering, Ibnu Sina University, where the current asset inventory submission system is still using the form submitted by the Deputy Dean II. As for the problem in the research where the current inventory submission system is used, there are weaknesses due to the slow submission process from personnel who submit to the leadership and related sections which can only be done in combination, namely by going to the relevant leadership to get approval for the submitted form. The method used in software design is using Rapid Application Development (RAD) and modeling using Unifield Modeling Language (UML). The results of this study indicate that the Purchasing Order Information System (SIPO) can be implemented at the Faculty of Engineering, Ibnu Sina University without serious problems, especially the admin section, that the decision support system is in accordance with the design made and can assist in determining asset requirements at the faculty. Technique. It is recommended to develop using other models such as the Obit Framework and Togaf so that the business process flow can be clearly seen and measured by the needs of the OD and it is also necessary to increase human resources in operating the system. The output of this research is a Web-based SIPO application.

Abstract

This study aims to implement digital image processing and fuzzy logic in identifying the maturity level of red dragon fruit and describing the level of accuracy. The process carried out is to change the type of red dragon fruit image from the red green blue (RGB) type to the grayscale type. Furthermore, extraction is carried out using MATLAB to obtain information from the image. Information from the image is contrast, correlation, energy, homogeneity, mean, variance, entropy. There are 7 information used as fuzzy input. The input fuzzy model uses triangular and trapezoidal membership functions to construct fuzzy rules on 28 data, so there are 28 fuzzy rules. After the fuzzy rules are obtained, then the inference and defuzzification processes are carried out. The inference used is the mamdani method. The result of defuzzification is the value for the maturity level of red dragon fruit which is divided into four categories, namely raw, half-ripe, ripe, rotten. The fuzzy model that has been built will test the model by determining the level of accuracy and error of the model. With the results of 96.42% with an error of 3.57%.
