Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of human resource development (HRD), organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT. Langtuhut Karya Medan, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The results show that HRD significantly affects job satisfaction, but it also positively contributes to turnover intention. In contrast, organizational commitment and job satisfaction have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, indicating that increasing both can reduce employees' intention to leave. Furthermore, job satisfaction proves to be a significant mediator between HRD and turnover intention, as well as between organizational commitment and turnover intention. Based on these findings, the study suggests that the company should focus on improving job satisfaction, clarifying career development paths, and strengthening organizational commitment by enhancing employee welfare and providing appropriate rewards. Future research is recommended to explore additional variables such as work-life balance, transformational leadership, and organizational culture for deeper insights. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership style, work discipline and work ethic on employee performance in the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of North Sumatra Province. The research method used in this study is using a quantitative model. The population in this study is all employees as many as 323 people at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of North Sumatra Province. The sampling technique uses probability sampling draw.The number of samples in this study was 76 respondents. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary. The technical data analysis in this study was carried out using Multiple Linear Regression using the SPSS Application. The results of data analysis show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effect of workload and motivation on teacher performance through efficiency at the Islamic Education Foundation in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal. Teacher performance is very important in improving the quality of education, which is influenced by various aspects, such as workload received, motivation, and efficiency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 127 teachers at the Islamic Education Foundation in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal and data processing using the Smart PLS application. The results of the study indicate that workload has a negative and significant effect on teacher performance, as well as efficiency which also has a negative effect. While motivation has a positive and significant effect on both teacher performance and efficiency. However, it is different from the indirect effect, efficiency acts as an intervening variable in mediating between workload and teacher performance but does not act as a mediation between motivation and teacher performance at the Islamic Education Foundation in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal. Keywords: Workload; Motivation; efficiency; Teacher Performance Abstrak: Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh beban kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru melalui efisiensi pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Di Desa Sei Mencirim Sunggal. Kinerja guru sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek, seperti beban kerja yang diterima, motivasi, dan efisiensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 127 guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Di Desa Sei Mencirim Sunggal dan pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, begitu juga dengan efisiensi yang juga memiliki pengaruh negatif. Sedangkan motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik terhadap kinerja guru maupun terhadap efisiensi. Namun lain halnya dengan pengaruh tidak langsung efisiensi berperan sebagai variabel intervening dalam memediasi antara beban kerja dengan kinerja guru tetapi tidak berperan sebagai mediasi antara motivasi dengan kinerja guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Di Desa Sei Mencirim Sunggal. Kata kunci: Beban Kerja; Motivasi; Efisiensi; Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Understanding the impact of work discipline (X2) and motivation (X1) on employee performance (Y) at PT. Yumeida Utama Unit PT. Fatona Medan is the aim of this study. Forty-five employees of PT. Yumeida Utama Unit PT. Fatona comprised the study's population. The population, or 45 respondents, is the number of samples collected. In 2025, the investigation was carried out. In this work, Using SPSS version 22, to assess quantitative data, a multiple linear regression model was employed. The study's findings showed that employee performance can be improved through work motivation. Motivation and encouragement of staff are the main priorities of the PT. Fatona unit PT. Yumeida Utama in order to produce satisfactory staff performance. Workplace employee performance is significantly impacted by punishment. This shows how the PT. Fatona unit at PT. Yumeida Utama applies strong discipline to create positive working conditions, which can develop staff performance. The F count (36.335) > F table (3.22) and the F test value Sig. (0.000) <0.05. This implies that employee performance is significantly affected by work discipline and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of implementing knowledge management in optimizing programs and activities of the Medan City Communication and Information Service (Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika/Diskominfo), especially in the dissemination of public information. The background of this study is based on the importance of effective knowledge management so that public information can be delivered quickly, precisely, and accurately to the public. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of knowledge management in the Medan City Diskominfo includes three main stages: knowledge acquisition, knowledge storage and management, and knowledge distribution. Although there have been initiatives in the implementation of information systems and internal training, challenges are still found such as limited human resources, lack of a culture of knowledge sharing, and suboptimal use of information technology. This study recommends increasing human resource capacity, developing an integrated digital platform, and strengthening internal policies to support a culture of knowledge sharing in order to improve the quality of public information services.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership and supervision on teacher professionalism with motivation as an intervening variable in MTs. Muhammadiyah 3 Ranges. Furthermore, this research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Based on the research results, it is known that the results of the validity test on variables X1, Furthermore, in the reliability test, the Cronbach's alpha value for each variable is greater than the specified significance value (X1 = 0.651, Z = 0.823, Y = 0.647 > 0.6), indicating that all items are reliable. Then the normality test shows that the value of Asymp.Sig. in the variables X1 = 0.19, The coefficient of determination test shows that the leadership, supervision, and motivation variables have an influence on the teacher professionalism variable of 0.475 or 47.5%.In the partial test, the Tcount results obtained for variables X1 = 4.188, X2 = 3.865, Z = 9.874 are greater than Ttable = 2.025. Shows that the dependent and intervening variables have a partial influence on the dependent variable.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to find out whether emotional intelligence and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City District Office. The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS program. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 43 respondents. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire. The research results show that emotional intelligence and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City District Office.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to find out whether leadership, motivation and work discipline influence work productivity. The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS version 19 program. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 37 respondents. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire. The research results show that leadership has a partially positive and significant effect on work productivity. Motivation does not have a partially significant effect on work productivity. Work discipline has a partially positive and significant effect on work productivity. Leadership, motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on work productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze HR Competency and Workload on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment to the Employee Scope of the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. The data analysis technique used is associative research with the help of the SPSS program. This study uses path analysis. The sample in this study was 82 respondents. Primary data collection uses questionnaires. The results of the study show that (1) the human resource competency variable has a direct insignificant influence on organizational commitment, and a significant direct influence on employee performance, as well as a significant indirect influence on employee performance through organizational commitment in the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. (2) The workload variable has a significant direct influence on organizational commitment, and an insignificant direct influence on employee performance, as well as a direct and significant influence on employee performance through organizational commitment to the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. (3) The variable of organizational commitment has a significant direct influence on the performance of employees at the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency.
