Abstract

Learning difficulties (learning disabilities) are one of the obstacles that children with special needs experience in their learning process. So that children with special needs may have their learning rights realized and not disrupt the learning process for other typical kids, the government implemented an inclusive program in public schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning conditions implemented for students with learning disabilities and explain the learning strategies carried out by teachers for students with learning disabilities in inclusive schools. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study approach, conducting an in-depth study of learning strategies for students with learning disabilities at Public Elementary School (SD) 01 Bojongsari Depok. The three stages of data analysis carried out by researchers are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning conditions of students with learning disabilities were that they lacked focus during learning and their attention was easily distracted. They were not yet independent and had difficulty in counting, spelling, reading, or writing. Learning strategies carried out by teachers in dealing with students with learning disabilities in Elementary School (SD) Negeri 01 Bojongsari Depok, such as using an adaptive curriculum approach, special services with learning methods (auditory-visual, repetition of regular class material, question and answer, and remedial), reducing the level of difficulty of questions and material as well as minimum completeness criteria, and selection of special learning media for students with learning disabilities such as word cards, blocks of numbers and letters, miniature fruits or animals, and others.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the implementation of science literacy-based learning in primary schools. The evaluative quantitative investigation used Stake's Countenance Model to measure the implementation of authentic assessments, including three critical stages, namely (1) Antecedent, (2) Process, and (3) Outcomes. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 20 Islamic Elementary Schools in West Java that participated in the Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI) result follow-up training programs. Furthermore, data collection methods included observation, interviews, and questionnaires, which were analyzed using a percentage-based analytical approach. This allowed direct understanding into the information disclosed and the identification of specific aspects of the studied problem. Observation and interview data were analyzed using an interactive model, including data collection, display, and conclusion. The results showed that several aspects did not achieve the 100% standard. Planning (Atencedents) in the “Not Good” category with a percentage of 61.40%, while Implementation (Transaction) and Results (Outcomes) stages obtained 70.17% and 52.36% in the “Enough” and the “Very Not Good” categories. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the effect of Interactive Learning Video-Based Mathematics Learner Worksheets in an effort to improve mathematics-based reasoning skills in elementary school students. This research is quantitative using the type of one group pretest-posttest design, trying to answer how the Interactive Learning Video-Based Mathematics Learner Worksheet has a positive effect in learning mathematical reasoning of elementary school students. Data collection techniques using tests are tested with statistical tests in the form of t-tests. This study found that Interactive Learning Video-Based Mathematics Learner Worksheets positively influenced students' mathematics-based reasoning learning, indicated by the average difference between the pretest and posttest groups. The ease and flexibility of access to the Learner Worksheet system provides a wide opportunity for students to study it repeatedly when and where the student is able. Another finding, after the application of learning, students are able to perform mathematical manipulations well, provide reasons or evidence for the correctness of the solution quite well, draw conclusions from statements very well, and check the validity of an argument well. The habituation of mathematical reasoning structure will make students more accustomed and have good mathematical reasoning skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Bahasa IndonesiaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh film animasi Upin dan Ipin dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif dengan metode Survei. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah angket dan foto dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Setelah melalukan perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) ialah 0,005 yang berarti bahwa pengaruh film animasi Upin Ipin dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Falah hanya 0,5 persen. Hasil uji t-hitung lebih kecil dari t-tabel (0,487 lebih kecil dari 2,021). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film animasi Upin Ipin tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V MI miftahul Falah. Abstract in EnglishThis study aims to determine all the major influences of the animated film Upin Ipin in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V students. The quantitative research approach used was the survey method. Collecting data using questionnaires and photo documentation. The data analysis used descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, simple regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination. After calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.005, which means that the effect of the animated film Upin Ipin in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V students of MI Miftahul Falah is only 0.5 percent. The result of t-count smaller than t-table (0.487 lebih kecil dari 2.021). It can be shown that the animated film Upin Ipin does not have a significant effect in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V MI miftahul Falah students.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem that the existence of teachers, related to their status and role in society is not always in line with the predicate of the teacher who is attached when teaching at school. Therefore, this study aims: 1) to describe the social role of teachers in urban communities; 2) to describe the relevance of the role of teachers in schools among urban communities; 3) to describe the subjective responses of the surrounding community regarding the role of teachers in urban communities; 4) to describe the revitalization of the role of teachers in urban communities. This research is a case study using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data is collected through questionnaire, interview, and observation methods. Data analysis was carried out in descriptive stages including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This is based on the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. While testing the validity of the data is by triangulation technique. The research respondents were elementary school primary school teachers in the city of South Tangerang. The results of the study explain that basic education teachers have a social role in South Tangerang urban communities, besides, the social role of basic education teachers is relevant to their role in the South Tangerang urban community, in carrying out their social role, teachers get support from the South Tangerang urban community, as well as revitalization the social role of primary education teachers in the South Tangerang urban community environment is done by time management, organizing performance, and support from the community, as well as strengthening the knowledge of teachers.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Hakikat pembelajaran tematik; (2) Langkah-langkah pembelajaran tematik berbasis kearifan lokal; (3) Hakikat pendidikan kearifan lokal dalam lingkup pembelajaran tematik; (4) Tujuan dan pentingnya pendidikan kearifan lokal dalam lingkup pembelajaran tematik; serta (5) Pengajaran model tematik berbasis kearifan lokal. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian analisis konten/meta analisis yang dilaksanakan melalui lima tahap, yaitu: (1) Pengumpulan data; (2) Penentuan sampel; (3) Pencatatan data; (4) Reduksi; dan (5) Penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data dalam artikel ini adalah jurnal dan buku yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran tematik dan pendidikan kearifan lokal. Selanjutnya, objek penelitian adalah proses adaptasi dan kaitannya dengan urgensi kearifan lokal dalam menjawab tantangan zaman. Kesimpulan artikel menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran tematik menggunakan tema-tema sebagai objek pembelajarannya; (2) Langkah-langkah model pembelajaran tematik berbasis kearifan lokal diantaranya guru terlebih dahulu membuat RPP, kemudiaan mesisipkan kearifan lokal pada konten materi; (3) Kearifan lokal dalam lingkup model pembelajaran tematik adalah nilai kebaikan yang terkandung dalam kebudayaan sebagai upaya mempertahankan identitas diri anak: (4) Tujuan dan pentingnya pendidikan kearifan lokal dalam lingkup pembelajaran tematik diantaranya untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda yang tanggap akan keunggulan lokal daerahnya; (5) Pengajaran model tematik berbasis kearifan lokal ini akan menjadi koneksi dalam memahamkan anak untuk bertindak tepat dalam menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of language by teachers and students in bilingual classroom learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) I Ciputat, South Tangerang. This research emerged based on the recent rise in the number of bilingual classes, such as Indonesian, English, and Arabic, which led to the use of learning activities such as code-switching. Based on the analysis, the authors concluded that generally, teachers use two or more languages consisting of Indonesian, foreign (English and Arabic), and regional languages. The use of Indonesian dominates in learning in accordance with the national curriculum, while the use of English dominates in subjects in line with the Cambridge Curriculum. Therefore, the use of foreign languages in these two learning activities aims to familiarize students with the ability to hear and speak foreign languages. These activities tend to improve student’s linguistics competence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the relationship between the role of parents and the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Semanan 08. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation design. This research was conducted at SDN Semanan 08 with a sample of 32 students. Data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire instrument on the role of parents and learning motivation with a Likert scale model. The data analysis techniques used in this research are validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical test, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the role of parents and students' learning motivation with a calculated r value of 0.830 > 0.349 (r table), then H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the role of parents is very influential in the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Semanan 08.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation and constraints of the literacy movement carried out by MI Al-Hidayah Cirendeu. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The techniques used in data collection are: observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The selection of informants used purposive sampling. The results revealed that the implementation of the school literacy movement at MI Al-Hidayah Cirendeu has familiarized its school community with reading for ±15 minutes in each class. Literacy at MI Al-Hidayah Cirendeu has carried out up to the learning stage by organizing library visits, providing reading corners in each classroom, writing, telling, and procuring literacy-rich banner posters. The main supporting factor in the school literacy movement at MI Al-Hidayah Cirendeu is the involvement of parents in book procurement by presenting reading books that are in accordance with children's age development. While the obstacles found, namely low interest in reading due to lack of student focus, limited reading time can cut class hours, facilities and infrastructure for literacy activities are still limited, and library management is less than optimal.
