Abstract

Purworejo Muhammadiyah University's Surya co-worker, one of which is a chain store unit. In this unit, employees record and manage data of unconventional sales transactions. Receipts of cash payment information, the use of vouchers, and information for incoming and outgoing goods are made in writing on the transaction receipt sheet. It allows for record sales transactions to be damaged or lost. Furthermore, end-of-year report must collect all of the transaction records for a given time. Researchers built an information system on Purworejo Muhammadiyah University's Surya worker cooperative in the Purworejo business unit for processing data sales transactions of both members and nonmembers. Sis-tem development using the Waterfall Model. The methods of data collection that researchers use are observation, interviews, and library studies. This sales information system was built using the Framework Codeigniter 3. Based on the Black Box testing by using the Beta Method obtained an average percentage value of 82% which means a system built worthy to be used by employees in the store business unit on Purworejo Muhammadiyah University's Surya staff.

Abstract

The qualitative case study aimed to investigate EFL learners’ perceptions of synchronous learning in EFL speaking classes. Although numerous studies have been on synchronous learning, only a few pieces of literature focused on learners’ perceptions in English as a foreign language (EFL) settings. The research was conducted in a speaking course at a private university in Indonesia. Seven undergraduate learners majoring in English education program participated in the research which employed semi-structured interviews to gain participants’ views on their attitudes and benefits during distance education. Thematic analysis was employed to analyze learners’ perspectives and answer the research questions. The research’s findings reveal that learners are satisfied with synchronous applications. Synchronous learning improves learners’ motivation and develops confidence in class. However, EFL learners experience language learning boredom while they are joining a synchronous mode of learning. The perceived benefits of synchronous learning cover free learning resources, flexibility, accessibility, and task completion. The findings highlight that synchronous language learning can be an alternative for teaching speaking skills. English teachers need to implement a well-planned and well-executed synchronous learning strategy in teaching EFL speaking.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of profile videos. Where the research location of the education field had several attempts at promotion that had been applied by the society, including the creation of brochures, banners, and pamphlets. But some of the efforts made are still less effective. This is because promotion efforts already undertaken have a broader range and are easily accessible to the public.The issues of this study are solved using a voice-corrections application, adobe lightroom desktop for photo editing, shotcut software for video editing, and Windows 7 ultimate operating system. Hardware with a tripod, a DSLR camera, a handy camp, and a laptop. Primary data: the boarding house promotion at the Muhammadiyah junior high school village of Jono neighborhood graft district Purworejo.The results of the study were measured in terms of three aspects: social attraction, visualization of profile video content, and profiling media benefits. Public interest aspect assessments were achieved 78% of the 35 respondents. The visualizing aspect of the video profile of 76% of the 35 respondents. Abstract

Sejak kasus Covid-19 pertama di Indonesia ditemukn pada 2 Maret 2020, pertumbuhan okupansi positif penderita Covid-19 semakin meningkat. Pemerintah membuat kebijakan dalam meminimalisir tingkat sebaran virus Covid-19, salah satu cara yaitu menggalakkan program vaksinasi untuk menciptakan pembentukan kekebalan tubuh. Program vaksinasi Covid-19 di Indonesia di mulai pada 13 Januari 2021. Pemerintah mencanangkan vaksin di 34 provinsi mulai 13 Januari 2021. Program tersebut ditargetkan selesai Desember 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, menemukan pola pengelompokan hasil vaksinasi di Indonesia dengan Algoritma K-Means, yang diselesaikan dengan aplikasi Rapid Miner. Perhitungan Davies Bouldin Index juga dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang digunakan vaksinasi 12 Februari 2021 hingga 24 Juli 2022 diambil dari halaman resmi Kementerian Kesehatan. Data vaksinasi yang diamati sebanyak 2.056 record. Dari interval tersebut ditentukan tiga variabel yaitu data dosis I, dosis II dan dosis III pada 416 kabupaten dan 98 kota dengan lima kategori Lansia usia ≥ 60 tahun, tenaga medis, anak 12 – 17 tahun, layanan publik, masyarakat umum dan rentan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kluster 1 tertinggi sebanyak 1890, kluster 2 sebanyak 141, kluster 3 terendah sebanyak 25. Kemudian nilai Bouldin Index terkecil 0,487.

Abstract

The Visual Geometry Group-16 (VGG16) network architecture, as part of the development of convolutional neural networks, has been popular among researchers in solving classification tasks, so in this paper, we investigated the number of layers to find better performance. In addition, we also proposed two pooling function techniques inspired by existing research on mixed pooling functions, namely Qmax and Qavg. The purpose of the research was to see the advantages of our method; we conducted several test scenarios, including comparing several modified network configurations based on VGG16 as a baseline and involving our pooling technique and existing pooling functions. Then, the results of the first scenario, we selected a network that can adapt well to our pooling technique, whichwas then carried out several tests involving the Cifar10, Cifar100, TinyImageNet, and Street View House Numbers (SVHN) datasets as benchmarks. In addition, we were also involved in several existing methods. The experiment results showed that Net-E has the highest performance, with 93.90% accuracy for Cifar10, 71.17% for Cifar100, and 52.84% for TinyImageNet. Still, the accuracy was low when the SVHN dataset was used. In addition, in comparison tests with several optimization algorithms using the Qavg pooling function, it can be seen that the best accuracy results lie in the SGD optimization algorithm, with 89.76% for Cifar10 and 89.06% for Cifar100.

Abstract

Sekolah dasar belum banyak menggunakan media pembelajaran sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengambil obyek penelitian multimedia interaktif pembelajaran tata surya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle. Metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle  memiliki 6 tahapan yang dapat diikuti untuk memperoleh hasil yang sesuai, yaitu concept (pengonsepan), design (perancangan), material collecting (pengumpulan bahan), assembly (pembuatan), testing (pengujian), dan distribution (pendistribusian). Hasil uji UI (User Interface) dan UX (User Experience) dari responden bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif yang menarik dan mudah digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebesar 85.88% artinya sangat layak. Hasil uji learnbility sebesar 83.33% dan pemahaman materi multimedia interaktif yaitu 85.75% yang artinya sangat layak.

Abstract

Management of correspondence administration at the Purwodadi Village Office, Purwodadi District, still uses a manual process, namely using books or paper as a tool to record incoming and outgoing letters. Apart from that, incoming letters (archiving) are still stored manually in filing cabinets. This relates to the security of letters or information that is stored because if it is not managed properly the paper could be damaged or lost. Researchers conducted research and built a website-based correspondence information system at the Purwodadi Village Office, Purwodadi District. This information system was created to make it easier for secretaries to manage correspondence administration. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interviews and literature study methods. Meanwhile, the method used for information system development is Waterfall and the language used in information system development uses the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, the database used is MySql. The usefulness of the information system developed can provide various facilities such as the process of adding, changing and deleting mail data. Apart from that, the system can produce outgoing letters (introduction) which can be directly saved in PDF form and can be printed immediately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun bel sekolah otomatis berbasis Arduino UNO dengan output suara tiga bahasa (Arab, Inggris, Indonesia) di SMP Muhammadiyah Jono Purworejo. Bel sekolah otomatis ini diharapkan dapat menggantikan bel sekolah manual. Selain itu, bel sekolah otomatis ini dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar bahasa asing. Tahapan penelitian di mulai dari identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, analisis kebutuhan sistem, pemodelan sistem, hingga implementasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tahap observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dan Blackbox. Alat yang digunakan yaitu Arduino UNO, DFPlayer Mini, RTC DS3231, relay 5V 1 channel, LCD 16x2 I2C, saklar, dan amplifier. Hasil uji operasional menegaskan bahwa Bel Sekolah Otomatis berbasis Arduino UNO berjalan lancar sesuai harapan pengguna. Sistem ini mampu mengelola amplifier secara otomatis selama jam sekolah dan menonaktifkannya setelah jam pelajaran selesai. Terdapat dua mode yang diatur sesuai kebutuhan, yakni untuk upacara atau pelajaran biasa. Implementasi sistem output suara tiga bahasa juga sukses, dengan layar menampilkan informasi akurat, suara sesuai harapan, dan relay yang mengatur amplifier berfungsi tepat waktu sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

Aksara Jawa memiliki sejarah panjang dan penting di Pulau Jawa. Sampai saat ini aksara Jawa banyak digunakan untuk obyek penelitian. Salah satunya menggunakan aplikasi OCR. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model OCR untuk aksara Jawa menggunakan Metode CTC (Connectionist Temporal Classification. Pengumpulan dataset diambil dari Wikipedia, kemudian diubah ke dalam aksara Jawa menggunakan aplikasi transliterasi. Selanjutnya teks aksara Jawa diubah menjadi gambar dan pelatiha menggunakan Metode CTC. Penelitian ini memilih Metode CTC karena mampu mengatasi masalah pelabelan urutan yang tidak sejajar, dengan memprediksi urutan karakter langsung dari input gambar. Dataset akhir terdiri dari 25.038 buah teks yang diubah ke dalam gambar dengan resolusi acak dan seragam. Model seragam menunjukkan kinerja lebih baik dari pada model acak dalam pengenalan gambar aksara Jawa, dengan mean edit distance, train loss, dan validation loss yang lebih rendah. Model seragam efektif dan baik untuk data gambar seragam, sementara model acak lebih fleksibel untuk data berbagai ukuran gambar. Peningkatan ukuran dataset meningkatkan performa kedua model.

Abstract

Peran teknologi informasi memberikan perubahan yang sangat pesat dengan beragam informasi secara realtime melalui perangkat mobile. Saat ini pengembangan aplikasi berbasis mobile sangat dibutuhkan, sehingga menjadi peluang bagi pengembang aplikasi. Beberapa perlombaan dalam membangun aplikasi berbasis android banyak diselenggarakan, seperti Lomba Kompetisi Siswa (LKS). SMK Muhammadiyah Purworejo merupakan lembaga pendidikan kejuruan yang memiliki jurusan teknik komputer jaringan dan akuntasi keuangan. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, sekolah perlu adanya pengetahuan yang baru mengenai pemrograman terutama pemrograman android, yang memang belum ada jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu analisa situasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan program, monitoring dan evaluasi program. Berdasarkan umpan balik yang diterima dari peserta, rata-rata nilai 82. Hasil evaluasi tersebut menunjukkan kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil. Hal ini didasari pada keaktifan peserta selama mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian, mengingat seluruh peserta tidak memiliki pemahaman dasar pemrograman.
