Abstract

This research examines strategies for improving the quality of Islamic higher education management in the Independent Curriculum Era. This research uses a qualitative research library-type method, conducting an in-depth study related to the Strategy for Improving the Quality of Islamic Higher Education Management in the Independent Curriculum Era with data and data sources obtained from books and national and international journal articles related to the keywords Strategy, Improving the Quality of Management, Islamic Higher Education, Independent Curriculum. The research results on strategies to improve the quality of Islamic higher education management in the Independent Curriculum era require a holistic and innovative approach to ensure educational institutions can maintain standards of excellence and relevance in facing changes in globalization. Some strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of Islamic higher education management in the Independent Curriculum era include quality leadership, namely leadership that is visionary and innovation-oriented. Improving Curriculum and Learning, the curriculum must be structured to integrate Islamic values ​​with the latest science and technology. The application of information and communication technology allows educational institutions to increase operational efficiency learning flexibility, and be responsive to student needs. Development of human resources according to the demands of the times, as well as collaboration with various external parties by expanding networks, for example collaborating with other universities to create quality education programs.

Abstract

Ibnu Khaldun merupakan seorang sarjana muslim yang selalu berpikir dan mengembangkan konsep-konsep dan pemikiran untuk kemajuan pendidikan islam. Konsep pendidikan Islam Ibnu Khaldun terdapat dalam kitab Muqaddimah, kitab ini merupakan karya munomental dari Ibnu Khaldun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang konsep pendidikan menurut Ibnu Khaldun dalam kitab Muqaddimah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai profensi tentang konsep pendidikan Ibnu Khaldun dalam kitab Muqaddimah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwah konsep pendidikan Ibnu Khaldun dalam Kitab Muqaddimah yaitu meliputi 1. Pengertian Pendidikan: Pendidikan bukan hanya merupakan proses belajar mengajar yang dibatasi oleh empat dinding. Tetapi pendidikan merupakan suatu proses, di mana manusia secara sadar menangkap, menyerap dan menghayati peristiwa-peristiwa alam sepanjang zaman. 2. Tujuan pendidikan, peningkatan pemikiran, peningkatan kemasyarakatan, peningkatan kerohanian 3. Materi (kurikulum) terbagi menjadi dua Ilmu Aqli dan Naqli. 4. Metode pengajaran, Metode Pentahapan, pengulangan, penyesuaian fisik dan psikis, peninjauan kematangan usia, kesesuaian dengan kompetensi, penguasaan satu bidang, Rihlah, praktek/latihan.

Abstract

This article discusses a social change in Jember, especially in Kencong and Lumajang, by capturing changes in the community around Assunniyyah Pesantren and Syarifuddin Pesantren. The institution remodels and differentiation as happened in Jember and Lumajang show a progressive role of pesantren. In pesantren approach, Islam is applied under the situations and conditions in which the community lives. The pesantren strategy remodel is evolutionary. Changes are made gradually and naturally following society's rules and pesantren contribution. Change is not related to vision, mission, and values. The pesantren hold a vision, mission, and basic values ​​starting from the first time to the present. The pesantren institutional strategy remodel is inclusive. The pesantren experience changes from authority aspect, structure, and work mechanisms. The pesantren adopt innovations as long as they do not conflict with the organization.
