Abstract

The most common problem faced by kids is the difficulty to sight-read a music score.On the other side, nowadays kids love to learn by playing games in the form of mobile applications. Unfortunately, currently available mobile-based music games tend to target adults, hence not so appealing and therefore more difficult to learn. Considering the difference between every children’s ability, this application is using Fisher-Yates Shuffle algorithm for problem shuffling in each level and also the principal of decision tree for problem choosing based on the problem’s weight and children’s ability. As a solution to the problem stated above, this study is conducted by the design of “Adventure in Music Land”, an Android-based music theory education app specifically designed for kids aged 9 – 13. This application is being used to help kids improve their sight-reading ability.

Abstract

Agar sebuah negara makmur entrepreneurship sangat penting artinya. Salah satu faktor penentu utama dalampeningkatan jumlah entrepreneur adalah sistem pendidikan yang dirancang melalui analisa yang tepat terhadap kekuatan,kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan di Indonesia. Teknologi Informasi (TI) adalahbidang yang menarik minat banyak orang untuk melakukan proses entrepreneurship karena barrier to entry nya yangtergolong rendah dimana investasi lebih banyak bersumber kepada kekayaan intelektual sehingga tidak tergantung padamodal yang besar. Pendekatan yang dilakukan untuk Entrepreneurship dibidang TI memiliki perbedaan yang mendasardibanding dengan bidang lain yang membutuhkan investasi mesin-mesin pabrik dan lokasi fisik. Untuk mendukungkeberhasilan menciptakan entrepreneur dibidang TI, maka sasaran pembelajaran harus mencapai kemampuan mencipta,sehingga metode pembelajaran yang berbasis proyek merupakan pendekatan yang dianggap penting ketimbang modelceramah.

Abstract

Data science competence is still quite uncommon for most people, even though this competence is very important in managing business development strategies in various leading industrial fields. Through data science, companies can find patterns, perform clustering, calculate predictions more accurately to make decisions that have an impact on company excellence. Lack of knowledge about data science, researchers seek firstly in the industry to explore tools that are mostly used, convenience, challenges, measuring success tools and advantages. In this study, the researchers conducted a Focus Group Discussion by interviewing resource persons who worked as Data Scientists. Interview method to discuss aspects of Demographics, aspects of Technology-Task Fitness, and aspects of the Technology Acceptance Model. The results of this study conclude that the tools that are the mainstay of the industry in Surabaya and its surroundings area are Jupyter Notebook, Python, and Tableau. The success in using these tools still depends on the user's abilities, the results of user simulations, team discussions, and the evaluation process.

Abstract

Team climate in organization is an important element to make the innovation process in an organization works. Study on team and its behaviour is done extensively around the world. It shows the importance of a team. Team climate is one of the characteristics of an innovative team. Team Climate Inventory is a measurement scale to examine the climate factors in a team. Earlier TCI was developed by West in 1990 and then extended in 1995 and 1998. Kivinaki and Eloainio made a shorter version of West’s which consists only 14 items. The shorter version is administered to a total five teams of co-working space start-up. The technology start-up has an intensive program every day within a month under a supervision of tutor from international wellknown company and an entrepreneurial-based university. The quantitative survey was followed by interviewing some of the member and leaders of the start-ups. The item analysis shows that all items are accepted with CITC value are above 0.3. And high reliability with Cronbach’s alpha value is above 0.8. The analysis shows that TCI has 3 factors, which consist of vision, participatory safety, and support for innovation. Abstract

Due to the rapid development of technology, technology has become very attached to various fields in Indonesia. The health sector is no exception. If more and more data in the health sector is used properly, it will provide good benefits for the world of health and patients. Therefore, a Data Science Training of Trainers Activity was held for Doctors by the Profession of Doctors at Universitas Ciputra Surabaya. Activities are carried out by providing materials and working on questions by the doctors involved. Thus, it is hoped that the doctors participating in this activity can provide medical literacy knowledge to prospective doctor students at Universitas Ciputra. From the results of this TOT evaluation, it has a positive impact on doctors regarding alternative ways to process the data needed for medical research.

Abstract

E'Chick is a frozen food manufacturer which processes chicken into chicken meatballs. These meatballs have high nutrient and various flavours. They are also halal, preservative-free, and healthy. The purpose of this research is to reveal the influence of consumer trust and website design on e-commerce, as well as the influence of product quality and e-commerce on repeat order. This research is a quantitative research. Random sampling is used as sampling technique to select 127 respondents. The variables in this study are product quality, consumer trust, website design, e-commerce, and repeat order. Questionnaire is used as data collection method in this study. The Schumacker and Lomax method is used in the questionnaire, while SPSS and AMOS software are used to process the questionnaire. Research results suggest that consumer trust and website design significantly influence e-commerce. Additionally, e-commerce positively and significantly influences the consumer's repeat order. According to the result obtained must have a concern on a website design to create repeat online order.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui pengaruh motivasi, pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra jurusan International Business Management angkatan 2014 yang telah mengambil mata kuliah IBM Practice dengan nilai A yang berjumlah 176 mahasiswa. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 122 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan data primer berupa kuisioner dan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 22 untuk pengolahan data statistik. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meliputi Motivasi Berwirausaha (X1), Pendidikan kewirausahaan (X2), Lingkungan Keluarga (X3) sebagai variabel independen dan Minat Berwirausaha (Y) sebagai variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil hasil analisis linear berganda didapatkan bahwa (1) motivasi berwirausaha, pendidikan kewirausahaan dan lingkungan keluarga secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra, (2) Pendidikan kewirausahaan merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra, (3) nilai koefisien determinasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebesar 0,495 sehingga variabel bebas dapat menjelaskan variabel terikat sebesar 49,5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Inventory is known to be one of the most an important factor to ensure smooth sales process. Hence the company must ensure sufficient supplies so that the sales process is not hampered. A good inventory management is needed in order to ensure the sufficiency of inventory item. Common problems found in the inventory management are (1) delays, (2) limited stock, (3) and unfavorable stock items. Through seamless integration of inventory management systems, procurement, and sales processing, company can monitor the condition of the inventory, distribution of goods, monitoring the position of the goods with no difficulties. This study took U.D. Sejahtera as implementation object which previously had inventory management problem. After implementing the inventory management system, they managed to streamline their procurement, inventory and sales process effectively and efficiently. The impact of the implementation were owner and managers able to focus on business expansion rather than trapped in daily routine problems.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the stockbroker industry has led to a significant increase in retail investors, who often lack the expertise to analyse stocks thoroughly. This research addresses the challenge by proposing a classification model to predict stock ratings such as "Reduce", "Hold", "Moderate Buy", and "Buy”, allowing retail investors to make informed decisions. The data analysed is collected from the S&P 500 index through web scraping using Beautiful Soup, resulting in a dataset used for training and testing the classification model. Popular stock indicators are used as attributes in predicting the rating of the stock, which includes the Exchange, Price, Volume, Market Cap, ROE, ROA, P/E Ratio, EPS, Annual Sales, Net Income, Net Margins, and PB Ratio of the stock. The models selected for classification include K-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Gaussian Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree, and Random Forest. GridSearch is employed to maximize each algorithm's parameters for optimal performance. Results indicate that the k-NN model outperforms others, achieving the highest accuracy (0.618644) and weighted F1-score (0.605011). However, all models exhibit relatively low accuracy, suggesting the complexity of predicting stock ratings due to external factors not considered in the study.
