Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged transportation service companies to adopt digital-based operational systems. PT. Bahtera Atakana, an intercity travel service company operating in Bireuen, Aceh, still relies on a manual ticket booking system that is prone to recording errors, service delays, and limited access to customer information. This study aims to design and implement an online ticket booking information system using the Agile Development method, with the goal of producing a flexible, responsive system aligned with actual user needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. System development is carried out using the Agile Development method with an iterative approach through sprint planning, development, testing, and evaluation phases. The system is developed as a web-based application using PHP 8 with the CodeIgniter 3 framework, MySQL database, and supported by JavaScript and AJAX. The results show that the developed system effectively enables customers to search schedules, book tickets, process payments, and obtain e-tickets independently. The system reduces transaction time by up to 70% compared to the manual process. Black box testing ensures that all main functions operate according to user requirements. The implementation of the Agile Development method has proven effective in producing an adaptive, efficient, and user-centered information system.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged digital transformation in transportation services, including ticket reservation systems. In Aceh, land transportation ticket booking is still frequently handled manually, causing inefficiency in schedule distribution, seat management, transaction recording, and ticket validation. This study aims to develop a web-based e-ticket booking system for public transportation in Aceh with Sultan Loket Matang as the case study. The system is designed to support direct booking by passengers as well as booking through registered agents, especially for users with limited access to official ticket counters. The study applies a Research and Development approach with the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The developed system provides user registration, login, schedule and route search, seat selection, simulated digital payment, electronic ticket generation, and QR Code-based validation. The results indicate that the system can improve booking efficiency, facilitate integrated transportation data management, and reduce the possibility of ticket duplication through digital verification. Therefore, the proposed system can serve as an alternative solution for improving public transportation services in Aceh

Abstract

Gayo Arabica coffee is one of Indonesia’s leading agricultural commodities with high economic value, especially in the export market. However, the process of classifying coffee bean varieties is still mostly performed manually, which can lead to misidentification and inconsistency in quality control. This study aims to develop an automatic classification system for Gayo Arabica coffee bean varieties using a deep learning approach based on the You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) model. The dataset consisted of 1,500 images of three main varieties: Tim-tim (Gayo 1), Bor-bor (Gayo 2), and Ateng Super (Gayo 3), with 500 images per class. The images were collected through direct observation and documentation in Aceh Tengah and labeled using LabelImg. The model was trained using the Python programming language with the Ultralytics YOLOv5 library based on PyTorch. Model performance was evaluated using precision, recall, and mean Average Precision (mAP) metrics, as well as a confusion matrix. The final model achieved an accuracy of 96% with an mAP50–95 value of 0.99, indicating that the YOLOv5-based system can effectively and consistently classify coffee bean varieties in real-time. The results of this study are expected to assist farmers and coffee industry stakeholders in improving the efficiency and accuracy of post-harvest quality control

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi kebutuhan informasi yang cepat sangat dibutuhkan dalam sebuah usaha. Salah satu usaha untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan tersebut adalah melalui pengembangan sistem otomatis pada rumah (Home Automation). Salah satu sistem otomatis yang dapat diterapkan di rumah adalah sistem yang dapat membuka pintu gerbang secara otomatis dan Bluetooth. Pada saat ini bidang elektronika sangat dibutuhkan sebab di dalam bidang ini terdapat beberapa sistem yang dapat membantu mempermudah pekerjaan manusia, salah satunya pengendali pintu gerbang otomatis. Dalam studi ini dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan alat pengujian secara bertahap dari koleksi bahan dan bahan, alat desain dan program, membuat alat, alat pengujian, analisis data dan kesimpulan. Untuk mendukung proses ini dan mendapatkan perhitungan yang tepat, yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan simulator software, perancangan yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan mikrokontroller Arduino Uno, Sehingga bisa menciptakan alat yang benar-benar sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi.

Abstract

The increasing number of theft cases demands an effective, simple, and affordable security system. This research aims to design and implement an Arduino Uno-based burglar detection system utilizing laser light as a detection medium. This system works based on the principle of breaking the laser light directed to a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) receiver sensor. When the laser light is blocked by an object, a change in light intensity occurs which is then processed by the Arduino Uno to activate an alarm as an indicator of interference. The research methods used include hardware and software design, system assembly, and tool performance testing. The test results show that the system is able to detect interference in real-time with a fast response and a good level of reliability. In addition, this system has advantages in terms of economical costs, ease of implementation, and flexibility for further development, such as integration with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based notification system. Based on the design and testing results, the Arduino Uno-based burglar detection system using a laser sensor can work well in detecting interference. The system is able to respond quickly when the laser light is broken by activating an alarm as a warning sign. From the test results, it can be concluded that this tool has a fairly good level of reliability, is easy to design, and has a relatively low cost. In addition, this system is also flexible and can be further developed by adding features such as remote notification or integration with IoT technology. Thus, this system can be used as an alternative solution to improve environmental security simply, effectively, and efficiently. In the future, the use of more sensitive and stable sensors, such as photodiodes or infrared sensors, can be considered to improve detection accuracy. As well as the addition of backup power sources (batteries or UPS) so that the system continues to function during power outages. With the presence of a laser that will control home security when residents are not at home and become more comfortable when left alone. Home residents through this tool system will be able to know the motion data between the sensor and objects that become obstacles. The status of the movement is displayed through sound and its status is displayed by LED lights.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan manusia yang makin meningkat merupakan dua hal yang saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain. Masyarakat luas menggunakan kendaraan sepeda motor untuk memudahkan menjangkau ke berbagai tempat. Sistem keamanan kendaraan bermotor konvensional sendiri yang masih sangat lemah. Sebagai contoh hanya dengan kunci T pencuri dapat dengan mudah membobol kunci kendaraan bermotor. Namun, maraknya pencurian yang terjadi khususnya pada sepeda motor membuat banyak orang berusaha untuk lebih meningkatkan sistem keamanan sepeda motor baik menggunakan alat-alat pengaman dari sistem lama ke sistem baru, untuk mengurangi hal-hal yang tidak kita inginkan kunci kontak sepeda motor diganti dengan sebuah sistem pengaman yang mana Pada masa sekarang ini dikenal suatu sistem Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) yang memanfaatkan gelombang radio untuk melakukan proses identifikasi. Kendaraan ini tidak lagi menggunakan kunci kontak biasa tapi menggunakan sebuah kartu tag ID sebagai kartu identitas atau pengenal ketika hendak menghidupkan atau mematikan mesin sepeda motor. Kinerja kartu ini juga didukung oleh Mikrocontroller Arduino Nano dan Relay. Dalam perancangan alat ini, kami menghubungkan kabel-kabel yang ada pada kotak pengaman (Alat Perancangan yang terdiri dari hardware Arduino Nano, RFID reader, LCD dan Relay) dengan input dan output saklar yang ada pada sepeda motor sehingga pada saat perakitan atau percobaan yang dilakukan dengan tiga tahap (scan) untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan mesin sepeda motor. Scan pertama, untuk memposisi ON kan kelistrikan sepeda motor. Scan kedua, untuk menghidupkan mesin sepeda motor. Scan ketiga, untuk mematikan mesin sepeda motor.

Abstract

Teknologi mempunyai peranan penting yang tentunya tidak terlepas kaitannya dengan Teknologi Informasi (TI). Komputer merupakan satu bagian paling penting dalam peningkatan Teknologi Informasi, dengan menyimpan infomasi aturan penalaran yang memadai, memungkinkan komputer memberikan kesimpulan atau pengambil keputusan yang kualitasnya sama dengan kemampuan seorang pakar bidang ilmu pengetahuan tertentu. Salah satu cabang ilmu Teknik Informatika yang dapat mendukung tersebut adalah sistem pakar. Sistem pakar adalah salah satu bidang kecerdasan buatan yang menggabungkan pengetahuan dan penelusuran data untuk memecahkan masalah secara normal memerlukan keahlian manusia. Sampai saat ini sudah ada beberapa hasil perkembangan sistem pakar dalam berbagai bidang sesuai dengan bidang kepakaran seseorang, misalnya bidang kedokteran, pendidikan ataupun pertanian dan peternakan. Hasil penelitian ini untuk bidang peternakan seperti yang diusulkan dalam didasarkan atas banyaknya peternak ayam yang mengalami kerugian karena tidak mengetahui penyakit apa yang menjangkiti ternaknya, khususnya peternak pemula yang masih awam dibidang peternakan.
