Abstract

This research has not been effected by the presence of learning performance assessment instruments apply daily makeup standards, haven't tested the validity or reliability. Moreover the assessment instrument Competency Skills Exam of BSNP one indicator is less detailed, less range and scale criteria in section is too long so that the teachers feel difficulty in judging. The purpose of the research is to produce a performance assessment of learning instruments apply daily makeup valid, reliability and practical. This research is the development of research conducted at SMK Perwari Kendal, SMKN 6 Semarang, SMK Taman Siswa Kudus, SMK PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus. The subject of this research is the 95 respondents. Test the validity of the content using the formula of Aiken's V and test reliability using the ICC. At trial, reliability, analyzed using Cronbach Alpha. Test the validity of invalid constructs using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was formed of 3 factors i.e. factor 1 (pra practice), a factor of 2 (practice) and factor 3 (post practice). Test the practicality of the instrument indicates that the performance assessment instruments are very practical for use. The profile shows the performance capability of the students has the capability of excellent performance. Based on the results of the analysis, this research produces a valid performance assessment instruments, reliability and practical. The benefits of this research is a guide that can be used raw in measuring student performance in learning daily make-up.

Abstract

The suitability of the competence of Vocational High School graduates with the needs in the industry is absolutely necessary. The Center for Excellence Vocational School (SMK PK) program is a program that encourages a comprehensive and harmonious relationship between schools and industry. The SMK PK program covers the areas of curriculum, learning, increasing the number and role of instructors from industry, industrial practice, competency certification, technology updates, applied research, and the uptake of graduates by the world of work. The SMK PK program mentioned above is certainly a new challenge for both schools and teachers. The purpose of this community service is to identify the challenges faced by schools and teachers in the PK Vocational School Program. This is important to do because through this identification activity, community service activities will be carried out according to needs. The method used is in-depth interviews to obtain comprehensive information on the challenges faced by schools and teachers. The results obtained are that schools still face difficulties in establishing relationships with industry so that it has an impact on curriculum development, learning implementation, the presence of instructors from industry, and work internships. While the problem faced by teachers is understanding of the operational curriculum, limited information and training, many new terms are used in the curriculum. Therefore, facilitation of partnering with industry and training on teacher understanding of the curriculum need to be carried out.

Abstract

This research seeks to accomplish two objectives: first, to identify the mineral makeup and elements that comprise basalt rock used for hot stone massage, and second, to determine the physical characteristics of the basalt rock employed for this purpose. Currently, basalt rock is not utilized in Indonesia for hot stone massage, and the mineral content and elements that make up this rock remain unknown. Consequently, it is crucial to determine the mineral makeup and physical characteristics of basalt rock used for hot-stone massage. This study employed experimental laboratory research methods using an observation technique to gather data. The samples were analyzed using an experimental approach at the Quality Control Laboratory, using XRD and XRF instruments to determine the mineral content and elements that make up basalt rock for hot stone massage. The results of this research reveal that the mineral contents and elements that make up basalt rock for hot stone massage include oxide compounds, such as SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, K2O, MgO, and Na2O. Additionally, the physical characteristics of basalt rock, including its dark color, fine-grained texture, and igneous origin, make it suitable for use in hot-stone massage. Furthermore, basalt rock is advantageous to human health.

Abstract

Pembuatan perawatan wajah dengan memanfaatkan bahan alami pada  PKK yang dilakukan pada masyarakat khususnya di Dukuh Gunung Gempal Kelurahan Giripeni, Wates bertujuan untuk: 1)meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam pemanfaatan bahan alami untuk perawatan wajah , 2)meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan bahan alami untuk perawatan wajah, 3)memberikan inspirasi, motivasi dan bekal keterampilan  untuk perawatan wajah menggunakan bahan alami. Metode yang digunakan 4D (define, design, developmen, dessiminate).  Adanya pelatihan perawatan wajah diharapkan ibu PKK untuk merawat dan menjaga kesehatan kulit wajah agar wajah terhindar dari flek hitam, wajah kering, jerawat, penuaan dini dan wajah kusam. Masyarakat menilai hasil kegiatan sangat bermanfaat dengan rerata skor 3,97,  dan memiliki rerata skor 3,99 untuk kepuasan  materi. Hasil penilaian terhadap instruktur/ penyampai materi sangat baik memiliki rerata skor 3,94.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah 1) memberi pengetahuan umum bahan flannel dapat dijadikan pembuatan hand bouquet, 2) melatih ibu PKK Dukuh Kembang untuk membuat hand bouquet berbahan flannel. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan 4D yaitu: Define;waktu senggang yang terbuang tanpa menghasilkan kreasi bermanfaat, butuh pelatihan yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan skill dan menghasilkan pemasukan keluraga, Design:bahan flanel dibuat rancangan bunga, Development proses pembuatan hand bouquet, Dessiminate memberikan pelatihan ibu PKK yang berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga, hasilnya dapat di jual untuk peningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Hasil kegiatan 1). bahan flanel dapat dijadikan kreasi hand bouquet materinya disajikan berupa video dan hand out 2). pelatihan Handbouqette diberikan dengan praktek langsung menggunakan alat, bahan yang dibutuhkan. Narasumber mneyampaikan dengan ceramah, demonstrasi dan pendampingan pembuatan hand bouquet dibuat untuk acara wisuda,acara pengantin dan lainnya. Pelatihan dilakukan pada ibu PKK di Dukuh Kembang dengan perolehan rerata skor evaluasi kegiatan 3,69 berada di ranking sangat puas dan memeperoleh rerata skor kepuasan masyarakat terhadap kegiatan 3,9 berada di ranking sangat baik. Kegiatan berlangsung mulai dari Maret sampai September 2022 berjalan dengan lancar, sukses dan respon peserta pelatihan puas. Kata kunci: pelatihan, flanel, hand bouquet, Dukuh Kembang

Abstract

This study addresses the challenges of conventional teaching methods in cosmetology education by developing a mobile Augmented Reality (AR) application for hair coloring. The primary objective is to enhance students' learning experiences and achievements through interactive AR content. Using the ADDIE model, we created an Android-based AR system that integrates Vuforia Engine for marker-based tracking and ARCore Face API for facial recognition. The methodology involved a descriptive analytical approach with expert validation to assess usability and content accuracy, followed by user testing with final-year students. The findings reveal that while the AR application has potential, it faces technical challenges, including prolonged download times and device compatibility issues. The implications of this research highlight the need for improvements in user interface design, system stability, and content accuracy to optimize the learning experience. By addressing these issues, the study aims to contribute to the effective integration of digital technologies in vocational education, ultimately preparing students for success in the beauty industry.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi untuk: (1) menghasilkan rancangan pengembangan formulasi brush makeup cleanser spray dari ekstrak serai wangi; (2) menghasilkan cara pembuatan pengembangan produk brush makeup cleanser spray dari ekstrak serai wangi; (3) mengetahui kelayakan produk brush makeup cleanser spray dari ekstrak serai wangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model 4D: (1) define, meliputi analisis masalah tentang permasalahan pembersihan kuas makeup yang sering terjadi dan akibat yang ditimbulkan dan analisis kebutuhan di masyarakat terhadap produk pembersih kuas makeup; (2) design, meliputi perancangan formula pembuatan brush makeup cleanser spray ekstrak serai wangi (3) develop, tahap pengembangan meliputi pembuatan brush makeup cleanser spray, melakukan uji validasi produk; (4) disseminate, tahap penyebarluasan dilakukan uji pengguna dengan melibatkan 40 panelis yang terdiri dari masyarakat umum dan MUA. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari Agustus 2024 hingga Juni 2025 di Laboratorium Kimia Fakultas Vokasi Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) rancangan pengembangan formulasi brush makeup cleanser spray ekstrak serai wangi menghasilkan produk brush makeup cleanser spray ekstrak serai wangi 100 mL; (2) cara pembuatan brush makeup cleanser spray meliputi ekstraksi serai wangi, pembuatan produk dengan pencampuran dua fase air yaitu ekstrak serai wangi, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate dengan gliserin, propilen glikol, natrium glukonat asam laktat; (3) kelayakan produk brush makeup cleanser spray dengan ekstrak serai wangi dari ahli produk ditunjukkan dengan nilai persentase 93% dan uji pengguna 94,55% yang disimpulkan produk dinilai sangat layak.

Abstract

Sampah plastik menjadi ancaman serius terhadap kualitas lingkungan, terutama di wilayah pedesaan yang belum terjangkau sistem pengelolaan limbah secara optimal. Dukuh Dayakan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo merupakan salah satu kawasan yang masih menghadapi persoalan limbah botol plastik. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kreatif kepada warga melalui pelatihan pembuatan pot gantung dari botol plastik bekas sebagai solusi estetika dan fungsional dalam penghijauan lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, demonstrasi teknik, serta pendampingan praktik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi berbasis praktik mampu mendorong partisipasi aktif warga dalam pengelolaan sampah serta memperindah lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.
