Abstract

Keluhan musculoskeletal disorders sering dialami oleh pekerja di industri, terutama karena sifat pekerjaan yang memerlukan tenaga manusia secara manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui survei analitik dengan menerapkan pendekatan cross-sectional. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi terdiri dari seluruh karyawan pabrik yang berjumlah 56 orang. Sampel sebanyak 56 responden diambil dari populasi menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 11 s/d 31 Desember 2023 di PTPN III Kebun Bandar Betsy. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji fisher exact. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas pekerja mengalami keluhan musculoskeletal disorders sebanyak 53,57% berada dalam kategori rendah, memiliki risiko manual handling sebanyak 44,64% berada dalam kategori rendah, dan sebanyak 66,07% dari mereka memiliki kebiasaan merokok. Hasil uji statistik antara risiko manual handling dan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders menunjukkan nilai p-value=0,013. Sedangkan hasil uji statistik antara kebiasaan merokok dan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders menunjukkan nilai p-value=0,037. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada hubungan antara risiko manual handling dan kebiasaan merokok dengan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders pada karyawan pabrik. Diharapkan kepada PTPN III Kebun Bandar Betsy untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan dan sosialisasi mengenai manual handling yang sesuai dengan standar ergonomi, serta menyediakan area khusus untuk merokok

Abstract

Hazard identification and risk assessment to prevent it accident Work on operator. The aim of this research is to identify risk hazards at boiler stations using the HIRARC method at PT Sawit. This type of research is qualitative in nature which uses a natural setting for the purpose of interpreting phenomena that occur and is carried out by being involved in finding narrative images that give rise to the impact of a person's actions. The research was conducted at PT. Sawit, Nagan Raya Regency on 5 informants, of which the main informants were 3 operators at the Boiler Station, 1 person Health Safety Environment (HSE) as key informant, and 1 process assistant as supporting informant. Technique collection data done with observation And interview in-depth, data analysis using the HIRARC method Research results obtained from risk assessment use method HIRARC with table Risk Matrix so presentation risk moderate, namely 60%, is categorized as moderate, low risk presentation, namely 20%, is categorized as low, and high risk presentation, namely 20%, is categorized as high. The conclusion of the research is that at the Boiler Station, it was found that there were work accidents at a medium level of 60% while at a low level it was 20%, and at a high level it was only 20%, so it can be concluded that there were indication work accident occurs, and will increases if Boiler Station operators do not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Abstract

The Sterilizer Station at PT X Nagan Raya is a company facility that requires regular maintenance by the maintenance department to ensure its smooth operation. This facility has potential hazards that need to be analyzed in detail. This study aims to evaluate each potential hazard associated with the maintenance department's work programs at the Sterilizer Station using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method, where these potential hazards will be evaluated for the associated risk levels, namely low risk, medium risk, high risk, and extreme risk. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive design. Data was collected from the maintenance department's work program for the July-December 2023 period at the Sterilizer Station through direct observation and interviews using the JSA form. The informants in this study were 6 informants consisting of maintenance employees, maintenance assistants, HSE officers and Assistant Mill Managers. The results of this study state that there are several potential hazards that can occur during the implementation of the maintenance department work program, such as the danger of falling on work equipment, slipping, electric shock, exposed to sparks, exposed to mesingerinda, iron cutters and electric welding machines. Based on the JSA analysis, several risk control measures are suggested, such as the use of appropriate and correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), routine maintenance of equipment, monitoring of the work program.
