Abstract

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of Project-based learning in developing the science processing skills and creativity of XI grade students of SMAN 1 Wewewa Timur and SMA Swasta Manda Elu in Sumba Barat Daya, NTT. This research employs quasi-experimental design. The effectiveness of the project-based learning of biology is known after the improvement in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd test as well as the observation of students’ science processing skills. The result of the research shows that the learning approach, project-based learning, is effective to improve students’ science processing skills. The conclusion came from the observation score of 79.5%. The students experienced improvement through test 1 to test 3. In this case, they got the average score of 44 in the 1st test, 49 in the 2nd test, and 60 in the 3rd test. The gain of the score was 0.2 or categorized as low. Meanwhile, the students’ creativity score was 69%. In summary, project-based learning can develop students’ science processing skills and creativity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan perangkat Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (MPBP) terhadap Kreativitas Siswa SMA N.1 Wewewa Timur dan SMA Swasta Manda Elu, Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya, Propinsi NTT melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan produk poster. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar penilaian produk berupa poster dengan melihat aspek-aspek  kreativitas. Untuk memperoleh persentase keefektivan MPBP yaitu jumlah skor yang di peroleh di bagi dengan skor maksimal dikali dengan 100%.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengamati produk siswa berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang terdapat pada lembar pengamatan. Hasil yang diperoleh untuk keefektifan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kreativitas siswa adalah  62% berada pada kategori efektif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan produk poster dapat mengefektifkan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi-potensi yang dimiliki oleh ekosistem pesisir pantai Labuhan Haji Lombok Timur untuk dikembangkan menjadi daerah ekowisata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif melalui kegiatan kajian pustaka/ literature yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait dengan judul penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem pesisir pantai Labuhan Haji memiliki potensi yang besar dalam memberikan jasa/ layanan ekosistem khususnya jasa kebudayaan dari ekosistem tersebut. Potensi yang dimiliki diantaranya memiliki bentang alam indah yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh wisatawan yang ingin melihat keindahan matahari saat terbit, pantai dengan ombak yang tidak terlalu tinggi, dikelilingi oleh persawahan dan perkebunan masyarakat yang masih alami. Banyaknya potensi yang dimiliki oleh ekosistem pesisir Pantai Labuhan Haji yang didukung oleh peran serta masyarakat sebagai pengelola dan wisawatan untuk memelihara dan menjaga ekosistem tersebut dari kerusakan ataupun terhadap pencemaran lingkungan mennyebabkan ekosistem pesisir pantai Labuhan Haji tepat jika dikembangkan sebagai salah satu daerah ekowisata yang ada di Lombok Timur. Kata Kunci: Ekosistem pesisir, Jasa kebudayaan Ekosistem, Ekowisata. Abstact                 This study aims to analyze the potentials possessed by the coastal ecosystem of Labuhan Haji Lombok Timur to be developed into ecotourism area. The research method used is descriptive analysis through literature review activities / literature conducted to obtain information related to the title of research. The results of the analysis indicate that the coastal ecosystem of Labuhan Haji has great potential in providing ecosystem services / services, especially the cultural services of the ecosystem. Potentials of which have beautiful landscapes are widely used by tourists who want to see the beauty of the sun when rising, the beach with a wave that is not too high, surrounded by rice fields and plantations that are still natural communities. The number of potency possessed by coastal ecosystem of Labuhan Haji Beach which supported by society participation as manager and wisawatan to maintain and maintain the ecosystem from damage or to environmental pollution mennyebabkan coastal ecosystem Labuhan Haji precisely if developed as one of ecotourism area in Lombok East. Keywords: coastal ecosystem, ecosystem services, ecotourism.

Abstract

Community service activities at the elementary school level of the kabalidana cluster, West Wewewa District, Southwest Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province are an activity for the community carried out by the PGSD Lecturer Team from STKIP Weetebula. This activity aims to grow and increase teachers' understanding of the importance of writing scientific papers through training in writing scientific papers. This activity was held on December 13-14, 2020 and took place at SDK Pero, Pero village, West Wewewa District, Southwest Sumba Regency, NTT. This training was attended by 2 Catholic Elementary Schools with a total of 38 participants who attended who were teachers. The service activity was carried out within two days and continued until now through online media, namely via WhatsApp where the first day delivered materials on how to write scientific papers correctly in accordance with the stages and the second day carried out the practice of writing scientific papers for Catholic Elementary Schools teachers. In the implementation of the practice, there are some teachers who still do not understand how to write scientific papers, especially the formulation of problems to research methods. This is evidenced by the provision of questionnaires filled by training participants with one of the aspects that are filled in is formulating a problem then determining how to solve it

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Poma pada materi pembelajaran IPA cara tubuh mengolah udara bersih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quazi Eksperiment Design jenis Non-Eqiuvalent Control Group Design ini merupakan metode yang memberikan pre-test terlebih dahulu tanpa memilih secara random baik kelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen sehingga hasil perlakuan dapat diketahui lebih akurat. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Poma. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes yang dianalisis menggunakan program komputer SPSS for windows 20. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai 8,390 > ttabel 2,021 menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Poma pada Materi IPA Cara Tubuh Mengolah Udara Bersih. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Poma dengan nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 sebagaimana dasar pengambilan keputusan hipotesis dikatakan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak dan menyatakan adanya pengaruh antara variabel independen (X) terhadap variabel dependen (Y) yang diteliti.

Abstract

This research aims to identify obstacles and solutions in the application of educational technology through literature review. Technology has great potential in improving the quality of learning, but its application in the field still faces various obstacles. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The sources used include academic journals, scientific articles, government reports, and publications from relevant national and international educational institutions. The data obtained is analyzed thematically by identifying the main categories that emerge from the literature. This literature review reveals four main obstacles in the application of educational technology, namely the lack of adequate infrastructure, limited technological competence among educators, resistance to change, and lack of policy support from the government and educational institutions. To overcome these obstacles, several solutions are recommended, including increasing equitable access to technology infrastructure, providing sustainable technology training for educators, implementing an adaptive approach in the technology integration process, and strengthening policies that support technology adoption in education

Abstract

The age of twenty-first century demands the development of creative abilities that begins during childhood. Project-Based Learning (PBL) which derives from constructivist theory functions as an efficient method to develop creativity in elementary school environments. Researchers have conducted an organized review of scholarly works that analyze how PBL influences creativity development through evaluation of fluency and flexibility together with originality and elaboration. The research indicates PBL enables students to become autonomous while engaging them and collaborating with peers which leads them to acquire creative problem-solving skills applicable to actual scenarios. The extensive use of PBL faces various obstacles that prevent its full implementation. The main barriers to PBL's implementation include restricted time availability and insufficient teacher capacity and lack of resources and inadequate assessment systems for creativity. Lack of schooling for PBL implementation exists among numerous instructors while rigid curricular frameworks usually constrain project-based methods. The inability of traditional assessment methods to accurately determine creativity creates boundaries in measuring long-term effects. The complete implementation of PBL in elementary education requires policy revision combined with teacher training programs and different assessment approaches specific for creative learning. These challenges need proper resolution so PBL can establish classrooms as student-engaging learning spaces for developing students who succeed in school and work. Future research about PBL demands extensive investigations of its enduring creativity effects together with effective methods to enlarge its application across different educational environments.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve learning outcomes by using the project-based learning model for fifth-grade students at SDN Potto Katillu. The research method used is Classroom Action Research conducted in cycle 1 and cycle 2. The subjects of the research are 22 fifth-grade students. The data collection techniques used in this research are learning outcome tests and observations. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The students' learning outcomes showed improvement from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The learning outcomes in cycle I showed that the number of students who passed was 10 people (52.63%), while those who did not pass numbered 9 people (47.37%). In cycle II, there was an increase in the number of students who passed to 17 people (89.47%). Meanwhile, those who did not pass were 2 people (10.53%). Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the PjBL model applied was successful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari adanya keprihatinan rendahanya kemampuan menulis  mahasiswa semester tiga pada mata kuliah keterampilan menulis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis  mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  quasiexperimental. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan dua grup subjek yakni grup eksperimental dan grup kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi powers sangat efektif  membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mereka. Hasil ini juga bisa menjadi model bagi peningkatan keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Data dari penelitian ini didapat dari studi lapangan di dua kelas pararel Semester III di STKIP Weetebula.
