Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal penting bagi manusia karena melalui pendidikan manusia memiliki bekal dalam kehidupannya. Dunia pendidikan memiliki empat bagian yaitu Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD), Pendidikan Dasar (SD), Pendidikan Menengah (SMP & SMA) dan Pendidikan Tinggi. Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini terdiri dari playgroup dan taman kanak-kanak. Taman Kanak-kanak merupakan salah satu bentuk satuan pendidikan formal bagi anak usia 4-5 tahun. Pendidikan anak usia dini memegang peran penting dalam membentuk dasar pendidikan anak-anak. Orang tua sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam memilih taman kanak-kanak terbaik untuk anak-anak mereka karena banyak faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan, seperti keamanan, kenyamanan, akreditasi, fasilitas, jarak, dan biaya. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengusulkan penggunaan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dengan metode VIKOR untuk membantu orang tua dalam memilih taman kanak-kanak terbaik di kota Binjai. Metode VIKOR dikombinasikan dengan metode AHP untuk menentukan bobot kriteria dan subkriteria secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan SPK yang dapat memberikan peringkat pada setiap taman kanak-kanak berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan, sehingga memudahkan orang tua dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan kepada orang tua dalam memilih taman kanak-kanak terbaik untuk anak-anak mereka dan memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan pendidikan anak usia dini. Berdasarkan data di atas, dapat dilihat bahwa alternatif pertama yang menjadi prioritas Tk Terbaik di Kota Binjai dengan nilai Q = 0 dan berhak direkomendasikan. Dan menjadi prioritas selanjutnya adalah alternatif kedua dengan nilai Q = 0,079.

Abstract

“Sekolah Penggerak” Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units to realize the Pancasila student profile which was launched online on February 1 2021. The city of Binjai was chosen to implement this program during the 2nd Generation of Mobilization School. And there were 14 schools selected, namely 2 Kindergarten schools (TK), 8 Elementary Schools (SD), 2 Middle Schools (SMP), and 2 High Schools (SMA). Among the selected school levels, only the Elementary School (SD) level was selected more often than the others. So the proposer is interested in analyzing the implementation of the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in 8 elementary schools (SD) throughout Binjai Municipality and collecting the learning achievements that have been obtained by students. From the research results, it was found that students were more motivated and enthusiastic in learning. This is because the learning programs in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program are interesting and more fun. Students are invited to be more active and creative in learning through innovative learning models. Thus, this research intends to provide information to other education providers regarding the achievement of activities and learning achievements of students in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in the Binjai Municipality so that they can motivate other schools to participate in implementing the “Sekolah Penggerak” program. In this way, it is hoped that this research will be useful for teachers and other educational institutions.

Abstract

Student discipline is the ability to follow the rules and carry out the tasks given. Discipline is one very important factor in determining the level of student achievement. Disciplined students have the skills necessary to get the job done and achieve their goals. There is a relationship between student discipline and the level of academic achievement achieved, students who have a good level of discipline tend to have a higher level of academic achievement than students who are less disciplined. Conversely, students who are less disciplined tend to have problems such as skipping school frequently, neglecting assignments, or causing disturbances in class. This can disrupt the learning process and affect students' ability to achieve optimal levels of achievement. From the 20 data tested, the best rule is produced, namely if the student's attendance is very good, and has a responsible, polite, and obedient nature, then the student is included in the top 10 class champions at school with a supporting value of 35%, a certainty value of 100%..

Abstract

Kebutuhan teknologi saat ini sangat diperlukan baik dalam bidang kesehatan, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Teknologi dapat membantu dalam mempercepat pekerjaan yang awal manual menjadi digital, seperti perhitungan, pengelompokan, dan sebagainya. Sekarang ini begitu banyak data yang terdapat dalam sebuah organisasi, sehingga menimbulkan kesulitan dalam hal pengelompokan data. Clustering atau pengelompokan data sangatlah penting dalam suatu perusahaan atau organisasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah data dalam hal perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan serta dalam pengambilan kebijakan untuk suatu informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengetahui pelompokkan peserta KB aktif Kota Binjai. Dengan mengelompokan Peserta KB aktif Membantu mengelompokkan pasangan usia subur dan peserta KB yang aktif dan mempermudah proses dalam memperoleh informasi tentang usia subur dan peserta KB aktif. Selanjutnya hasil pemilahan objek dijadikan input dalam pembuatan model clustering menggunakan metode K-Means. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model clustering Peserta Kb aktif dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pengelompokan.

Abstract

This study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Sei Cabang, a private school in Langkat Regency, which still uses manual examination methods with identical questions for all students. This method is considered ineffective because it allows students to cheat, leading to exam results that do not accurately reflect their abilities. To address this issue, the study developed a web-based examination system using the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) to generate randomized question numbers. With LCM, each student receives a different set of question numbers, making the exam process more effective and fair. The system was built using PHP programming language and MySQL database, enabling efficient data storage and processing. The implementation of this system resulted in improved accuracy in assessment and reduced cheating potential during exams at the school.

Abstract

Plagiarism is a serious threat, especially to academic honesty, so a detection system that can analyze various types of documents is needed. This research develops a plagiarism detection system using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to convert image text into digital text. Rabin – Karp algorithm with rolling hash and Dice Coefficient Similarity is applied to measure similarities between documents. Testing is carried out on .doc, .txt, .jpg files. As a result, the system can detect plagiarism well in clear text and image documents, but accuracy can decrease in low-quality images. In conclusion, the similarity of content, sentence structure, and format affects the degree of similarity, while OCR techniques work effectively even though they are limited to low-quality images.

Abstract

Libraries are institutions that collect printed and recorded knowledge. Books can be borrowed from the library for a duration according to library regulations. Based on the results of observations that the placement of book layouts carried out at the Library and Archives Service was arranged into bookshelves based on categories where each category was given a certain number. The Library and Archives Service has not provided any information to recommend books that are often borrowed by visitors based on the level of frequency of reading or borrowing books. By utilizing library lending data, information can be extracted about what books visitors often borrow and the relationship between each book. Problems that often occur in the relationship between book titles, authors, publishers and the year of the book need to be analyzed based on books that are often borrowed as service recommendations to visitors as well as arrangement adjustments according to borrower's needs. In the above problem, we need an action or solution that can be used to solve the problem above by implementing data mining using the association rule method to determine the relationship between books in the library. From the results of tests carried out on a sample of 30 data obtained, it can be concluded that the results of the Final Association Rules have a support value of 30% and 100% confidence. So the guards can recommend the book JB5 (sharia cooperative), with the author PN1 (Hery, S.E, M .Si), published (P4) by Gramedia Widiasarana Indonesia, with the year of publication (THN2), namely 2016-2020.

Abstract

Soft skills are non-technical abilities that make a person able to interact and work effectively with others. This study aims to analyze the relationship between student activities of Internships and Certified Independent Study (MSIB) on improving student soft skills using the Apriori method in data mining analysis. this research uses RapidMiner analysis tools to analyze data collected from a total of 539 student data from all over Indonesia, the best association rule has been formed (best rule) which provides information about improving the soft skills of MSIB students. Tests were conducted by determining the minimum support value of 3% (0.03) and the minimum confidence of 30% (0.3). and resulted in 106 association rules. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the best rule of 2 itemsets has a support of 39% and a confidence of 67%, the best rule of 3 itemsets has a support of 13% and a confidence of 81%, the best rule of 4 itemsets has a support of 6% and a confidence of 82%, and the best rule of 5 itemsets has a support of 3% and a confidence of 100%. After analyzing data using the Apriori method and RapidMiner application on 539 MSIB student soft skills data, it was found that there was a significant relationship between MBKM activities followed by students and the improvement of their soft skills and these findings also show that the less frequent value is set, the more data can be processed, as well as the minimum support value and confidence value, where the smaller the value determined, the more association results will be issued.

Abstract

Tridarma perguruan tinggi terdiri atas tiga point yaitu Pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dosen masih sering mengabaikan hal yang menunjang tugasnya selain mengajar dikelas. Untuk meningkatkan animo dosen dalam melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian, maka pemerintah melalui kemendikbud membuka hibah DRTPM. Melalui hibah ini seluruh dosen di akan bersaing untuk memenangkan hibah tersebut dengan skema-skema yang disediakan. Sebagian dosen STIe LMII Medan masih belum terlalu memahami prosedur pelaksanaan yang disediakan Simlitabmas.bTujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah agar dosen-dosen di STIe LMII Medan dapat menggunakan simlitabmas dengan baik.. Pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan simlitabmas. Dengan diadakan pelatihan dan pedampingan penggunaan aplikasi Simlitabmas bagi dosen STIe LMII Medan, dosen akan bisa menggunakan aplikasi simlitabmas dan pemanfaatan dibidang penelitian dan pengabdian. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian Seluruh dosen tersebut sudah bisa login dan menggunakan aplikasi simlitabmas untuk mengupdate profil serta mengunggah proposal. Peserta telah memiliki Pengetahuan dan wawasan bahwa aplikasi simlitabmas sangat penting untuk meningkatkan karir peserta di bidang penelitian dan pengabdian. Wawasan dan pengetahuan peserta sudah meningkat, hal ini terlihat saat peserta sudah mampu mengoprasikan dan menggunakan semua menu yang ada di aplikasi simlitabmas. Sehingga diharapkan nantinya dosen-dosen STIe LMII Medan dapat mengikuti hibah DRTPM ini dengan tanpa adanya kesulitan dalam penggunaan Simlitabmas.

Abstract

Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan mental pada anak yang menyebabkan anak sulit berinteraksi sosial seperti pada saat di dalam kelas dan melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Gangguan Autisme salah  satu  kesulitan guru dalam  menghadapi siswanya di dalam  kelas pada saat pembelajaran dimulai. Karena seharusnya anak yang mengalami autisme bersekolah di SLB (Sekolah Luar Biasa) agar mendapatkan  pendidikan sesuai kemampuan dan daya ingat mereka. Sistem ini dibangun untuk dapat mendiagnosa penyakit autisme pada siswa untuk mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam  proses belajar mengajar  agar berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sistem ini menggunakan metode Certainty Factor untuk mendefisikan ukuran ketidak pastian terhadap fakta.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi sistem pakar dengan menerapkan metode Certainty Factor yang dapat memberikan hasil diagnosa serta solusi untuk mengatasi penyakit Autisme.
