Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa materi peluang pada kelas X MA Miftahul Ulum Lenteng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain True Eksperimental Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi yang diambil adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MA Miftahul - Ulum dengan sampel kelas X IPS 1 (kelas kontrol) sebanyak 21 orang siswa dan kelas X IPS 2 (kelas eksperimen) sebanyak 22 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berbentuk soal – soal uraian berupa soal tes kemampuan awal dan post-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini kriteria yang pertama sudah terpenuhi, karena 90% dari jumlah siswa telah mendapatkan nilai diatas 70. Sedangkan hasil penelitian melalui uji-t diperoleh sebesar 3,174 dan sebesar 2,020 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Karena lebih dari , sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemahaman siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pemahaman siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika pada materi trigonometri siswa kelas X MA Syafi’iyah Kambingan Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berbentuk soal-soal uraian berupa pretest dan posttest sebagai instrumen primer dan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu diperoleh sebanyak 15 % siswa dengan kategori kemampuan literasi matematika tinggi, 80 % siswa berkemampuan literasi matematika dengan kategori sedang dan 5 % siswa berkemampuan literasi matematika dengan kategori rendah. Kemudian dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji-t, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, diperoleh nilai sebesar 28,031 dan nilai sebesar 2,090. Karena lebih dari , dengan kata lain H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika pada materi perbandingan trigonometri siswa kelas X MA. Syafi’iyah Kambingan Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' understanding of concepts using interactive video learning media on statistical material. The type of research used is classroom action and is carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Limboto in the even semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 28. The assessments used in the study were teacher and student observation sheets and concept understanding tests. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The average percentage of teacher observations from cycles I and II reached 70.8% and 80.8%, resulting in an increase of 10%. Furthermore, the average percentage of student observations reached 67.5% and 81.25% so that there was an increase of 13.75%. The results of the student's concept understanding test also increased from 64.29% to 82.14%. In cycle II, all aspects assessed have reached the indicators of learning success by using interactive video learning media

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Brain-Based Learning (BBL) model on students' mathematical reflective thinking ability in trigonometric ratio material. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving two 10th-grade classes at a public high school in Purwakarta,—one as the experimental class and the other as the control class. Data were collected through pretest and posttest using a mathematical reflective thinking ability test instrument. Since the data were not normally distributed, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank and Mann-Whitney U tests. The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of <0.01, indicating a significant improvement in the experimental class after the intervention. The Mann-Whitney test also revealed a significance value of <0.01, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. These results demonstrate that the BBL model significantly enhances students’ mathematical reflective thinking ability, particularly in mastering trigonometric ratio material.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of students' algebraic reasoning in solving recursive relation problems using tower hanoi props in terms of learning styles. This research is a descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative approach. The instruments in this study consisted of learning style questionnaires, Mathematics Ability Tests, Problem Solving Tasks, and task-based interviews. The research begins with giving tests of mathematical ability and learning style agket to 8 semester VI students of the STKIP PGRI Sumenep mathematics education study program in Sumenep to obtain three subjects, each with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles with equal mathematical abilities and of the same gender. After that, it was followed by giving problem solving tasks and task-based interviews twice. Time triangulation is used to check the validity of the data. The data analysis technique consists of 5 stages, namely data categorization, data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the visual subject is higher than level 2 but has not reached level 3, the auditory subject is at level 2, and the kinesthetic subject is at level 3. The three subjects have reached the stage of solving the problem, but the one who can solve the problem until they find the final solution is only the kinesthetic subject. The implication of research in learning is that teachers can more easily design learning according to their learning styles so that they can hone students' algebraic reasoning.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah matematika telah menjadi pusat pembelajaran matematika saat ini. Namun kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa, untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), kemampuan ini masih sangat tertinggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-worksheet berbasis etnomatematika yang dapat mengasah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Pendekatan etnomatematika digunakan untuk mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan konteks budaya lokal, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Metode penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan ADDIE dipilih karena sesuai dengan konteks penelitian. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa SMP pada salah satu sekolah di Jakarta Timur. Seluruh Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan divalidasi oleh ahli pendidikan matematika dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-worksheet yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kelayakan sangat layak dan tingkat keefektifan sangat efektif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah e-worksheet berbasis etnomatematika layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP. Dengan tersedianya eworksheet ini dapat memberikan kualitas pembelajaran matematika yang lebih bermakna dan relevan. Mathematical problem solving has become a central skill in mathematics learning today. However, this skill is still significantly underdeveloped at the junior high school (SMP) level. This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based e-worksheet that can hone the mathematical problem-solving skills of junior high school (SMP) students. The ethnomathematics approach is used to link mathematical concepts to the local cultural context, making learning more meaningful. The ADDIE development research method was chosen because it is appropriate to the research context. The trial subjects were junior high school students at a school in East Jakarta. All research instruments used were validated by mathematics education experts and practitioners. The results showed that the developed e-worksheet had a very good level of feasibility and a very effective level of effectiveness. The conclusion of this study is that the ethnomathematics-based e-worksheet is suitable for use as an innovative learning medium to improve junior high school students' mathematical problem-solving skills. The availability of this e-worksheet can provide a more meaningful and relevant quality of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah merupakan suatu kemampuan yang sangat kompleks di mata siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa SMA kelas X dan respon peralihan matematika SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek penelitian siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Bandung Barat. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah uji soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket kemampuan matematika siswa apabila ditinjau dari peralihan SMP ke SMA terhadap materi SPLTV. Jumlah soal yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak empat dari enam butir soal yang disediakan dengan angket yang berisikan sepuluh pertanyaan, yang terdiri dari empat pertanyaan tertutup dan enam pertanyaan terbuka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 September 2018 dan 8 Oktober 2018. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas X di Bandung Barat terhadap materi SPLTV tergolong tinggi, dengan persentase sebesar 79,868%. Siswa yang memiliki latar belakang pemahaman SPLDV yang baik cenderung mudah memahami SPLTV dengan baik pula.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in the Algebraic Form material using the Course Review Horay learning model. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, involving students from SMP Negeri 1 Kabila as the research subjects. Each student is considered successful if their mathematics learning outcome test meets the minimum completeness criteria, which is 75. The research results show that in the first cycle, the completeness rate was 67.86% out of 28 students, and it increased in the second cycle, with 24 students achieving a completeness rate of 85.71%. This indicates that implementing the Course Review Horay learning model is believed to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in the Algebraic Form material.

Abstract

Aging is a natural process experienced by everyone and at this stage, the body experiences various changes both physically, mentally, and socially. Dangdut music therapy is very important to create a sense of calm for the elderly, because dangdut music can stimulate the brain system related to emotional nerves. This study aims to determine the effect of dangdut music therapy on stress levels in the elderly. This research method is a quantitative pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-post-design method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and dangdut music therapy was given. The sample in this study was 28 people. This data was analyzed using the Paired Samples Test. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of dangdut music therapy on stress levels in the elderly at Panti Bhakti Kasih Siti Anna Pangkalpinang with a p-value of the first intervention of 0.006 and a p-value of the second intervention of 0.000 (<0.05). The suggestion from this study is that it is expected to be a guideline for increasing the role of nurses and elderly people in providing dangdut music therapy for the elderly to reduce stress levels.
