Based on background knowledge of this research was understanding of mathematical concept still low and their habit was waiting the answer from their friend. This research is to determine whether studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics by using Quiz Team strategy better than studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics by using conventional strategy at VIII SMP N 4 Koto Baru. Type of this research was experiment. Population of this research was students at VIII SMP N 4 Koto Baru, and sample of this research was students class VIII.B as experimental class and VIII.A as control class. Post-Test was as instrumentation in this research, with reliability 0.93. From the data analysis get mean score from studentsâ achievement in experimental class was 56.58 that high rather than in control class that was 36.36. Data analysis was done by using hypothesis testing. Tcalculated= 2.88 and ttable= 1.68. Â so hypothesis was acceptable. So, we can conclude that studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics that used Quiz Team strategy better than conventional strategy at VIII Grade of SMP N 4 Koto Baru.

This reseach has background by understanding of concept so that student canât contrutioning to their own concept understanding and more of the student canât aplicate the concept problem solving which is they want. This research has purpose for to know the impact of active learning strategy type Guided Note Taking to student mathematic concept understanding on the subject aljabar factor. Kind of this research is experiment with plan random on subyek. The population is VIII SMPN 1 X Koto Singkarak and sample it VIIIC as experiment class and VIIIB as control class. This research use instrument is essay, that test about understanding of mathematical concepts student consist of 9 item with reliability test 0,865. By virtue of data analysis get average of result learning of student experiment class better than control class. Hypothesis use test t-one way. Result thitung = 2,7248 and ttabel = 1,6795, because thitung > ttabel so hypothesis acceptable. So the conclusion is learning with active learning type Guided Note Taking better than conventional learning at VIII SMPN 1 X Koto Singkarak

The background of this research about students understanding of mathematis concept is still low. The purpose of this research to know what students understanding of mathematis concept with applying Domino Game strategi with handout is more good than students understanding of mathematis concept by using convensional learning at SMPN 27 Padang. This research is experiment research with random design toward subject. The population in this research is all of student at class of VIII SMPN 27 Padang of year 2012/2013 consist of seven class of VIII.1 is best class. Technique of sampling is done by random sampling, furthermore it is chosen VIII.2 class as experiment class and VIII.4 class as control class. Instrument of this research is final test that is formed valid and reliable test in 95 %. Based hyphotesis test that use by uji t one step, in briefly students understanding of mathematis concept applay Domino Game strategi with handout which is more good than students understanding of mathematis concept with convensional learning. Be hope for the teacher can try to teach by using Domino Game strategi with handout.

This research was background by the learning outcomes of studentâs mathematic in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan was low. This was one of the factors may indicate the studentâs understanding of mathematics concepts was still low. The aim of this research was to determine whether studentâs understanding of mathematics concepts by applying study with Spotlight accompanied Call Card techniques better than understanding of mathematic concept in convensional study to the studentâs at the VIII grade in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The type of the research was experimental research with random sampling techniques. The population in the research were the students of VIII grades in the school year 2013/2014. The selected sample was VIII.2 as the experimental class and VIII.3 as the control class. The instrument used in this study was the test of understanding concept in the form of essays. The data obtained were analyzed by using a normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on mathematical final test value of the student in both of sample classes is got experimental class with  = 62 higher than the control class with  = 50. The results of uji-t are got t count value = 2.44 and         t table = 1.645, because of t count > t table consequently hipetesis in this research was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the ability of understanding of mathematic concept by using the study with Spotlight accompanied Call Card techniques better than the studentâs understanding of mathematic concept with conventional study to the studentâs at the VIII grade in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan at the level of 95 %.

This matter seen at result learn class student mathematics of VII which enlist in class of VIII SMPN 1 Pulau Punjung School Year 2013 / 2014. He aim of this research model is to know the understanding of mathematical concept by applying model study with cooperative type NH accompanied by quiz better than student understanding of mathematical concept conventional study in class of VIII SMPN 1 Pulau Punjung. This type of this  research is experiment. Research with random sampling techniques. Population in this research is all class student of VIII SMPN 1 Pulau Punjung school year 2013 /2014 except class VIII1 representing preeminent class. The selected class of sampel is VIII4 as experiment class and of VIII5 as control class. Instrument used in this research is the tes of  understanding of mathematical concept. Form of tes the used is form of esai with reliabilitas test is r11=0,92. Technique analyse data  used in this test is t. According to result of data analysis known that both class of sampel have normal distribution and is not homogeneous at real level = 0,05. Result of hypothesis test obtained by t=3,73 bigger than ttable=1,23 hence hypothesis at this research is accepted. So that can be concluded that student  understanding of mathematical concept by applying model study with cooperative learning type NH accompanied by quiz better than student understanding of mathematical concept with conventional study in class of VIII SMPN 1 Pulau Punjung.

The research is motivated by reality in the school that the students did not have responsibility in group discussion and studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept that still low. To solve this problem the researcher do the research by applying cooperative learning technique Number Heads Together (NHT). This research is to determine whether studentsâ understanding of concepts mathematical by using cooperative learning technique Number Heads Together (NHT) better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by using conventional strategy. Type of this research was experiment with research design randomly through subject. Post-test was as instrumentation in this research. Data analysis was done by using hypothesis testing one way. Number Heads Together (NHT) technique is to guide the students to share the ideas and knowledge to achieve the goal of learning. In learning process, this technique also help the students to improve their responsibility. If the studentsâ responsibility in learning had been appeared, it means the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept also improve. The result of hypothesis testing got P-value was small than            , 0.002<0.05 so hypothesis was accepted. So, we can conclude that studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts that used cooperative learning technique Number Heads Together (NHT) better than conventional strategy at XI SMKN 4 Padang in academic year 2013/2014.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar persamaan diferensial dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kolaboratif teknik Round Robin bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas perkuliahan Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta yaitu dari tanggal 14 April 2015 sampai tanggal 26 Mei 2015. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang mengikuti mata kuliah persamaan diferensial dengan peneliti yang berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian dilaksankan dalam 2 siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklus I diperoleh persentase mahasiswa yang memiliki nilai minimal setara C+ adalah 35% dan rata-rata persentase aktivitas mahasiswa adalah 30,9% , sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh 50 % yang memiliki nilai setara C+ dan rata-rata persentase aktivitas mahasiswa adalah 73,4% . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kolaboratifteknik Round Robin dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa Studi PendidikanMatematika FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta pada mata kuliah persamaan diferensial

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar persamaan diferensial dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe every one is a teacher here (ETH) bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek pada penelitian ini brjumlah 30 orang, yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang mengikuti mata kuliah persamaan diferensial dengan peneliti. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 27 April 2017 sampai tanggal 18 Mei 2017. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitan adalah di kelas perkuliahan Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Bung Hatta. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklus I diperoleh persentase mahasiswa yang memiliki nilai minimal setara C+ adalah 6,67 %, sedangkan pada siklus II adalah 46,67 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran aktif tipe ETH dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Bung Hatta pada mata kuliah persamaan diferensial. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, pembelajaran aktif, every one is a teacher here.

This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the aim of knowing the form of difficulty and the factors that cause students' difficulties in solving 3D questions in terms of the level of understanding of class XII students of MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class XII IPA. The data in this study were obtained from written tests and interviews. The results showed that students with a high level of understanding had no difficulty in solving problems. All indicators of understanding have been achieved and are called low level difficulty type. Students with a moderate level of understanding have difficulty on the third and fifth indicators, including the type of moderate level of difficulty. The results of the interview showed that students had difficulty in solving problems because they were not careful in the steps of the process, it was difficult to relate various concepts and imagine. Students with low levels of understanding have difficulty on all indicators except for the second indicator and this is included in the type of high level of difficulty.
