Abstract

Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) adalah langkah penting untuk memudahkan bayi dalam memulai proses menyusui serta pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup bayi dan menurunkan risiko penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) dan pemberian ASI Eksklusif terhadap status gizi Balita. Metode penelitian adalah survey Analitik dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Wonokromo Surabaya menggunakan data primer dengan jumlah sampel 290 balita. Variabel Independen dalam penelitian ini status gizi bayi dan variabel dependen pelaksanaan IMD dan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Analisis data univariate dilakukan dengan mendistribusikan frekuensi variabel independen dan dependen. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik Chi-square dengan menggunakan program SPSS dengan tingkat kemaknaan α < 0,05.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara pelaksanaan IMD terhadap status gizi stunting balitai dengan nilai ρ = 0,0001 dan terdapat pula pengaruh Pemberian Asi eksklusif terhadap status gizi balita dengan nilai  ρ = 0,0001. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan IMD dan Pemberian ASI eksklusif memiliki hubungan yang erat terhadap status gizi pada balita.

Abstract

Introduction: Discharge planning is still become a problem for health services in hospital in-patient rooms. Discharge planning commonly is only done when the patients leave hospital by giving them an explanation about the content of the controlling card. Discharge planning is a routine activity that must be done by nurses in order to give information to the patients about their condition and any actions can or should be undertaken by them. In fact, the importance of discharge planning is not yet balanced, nor effectively applied in field. This research was conducted to find out about the implementation of discharge planning by nurses in one of the hospital in-patient rooms at the hospital of study.Methods: This research was a qualitative research study conducted with the phenomenological approach. The informants were 6 patients and 6 nurses in first, second and third class nursing wards. The instruments used in this research were the researchers themselves with interview guidance, field notes and a tape recorder. The data was collected through an in-depth interview.Results: There were three themes found through the analysis, which were 1) the information dimension involving room orientation, rights and obligations, and patient health problems as the sub-themes; 2) the understanding dimension with knowing and understanding the discharge planning as the sub-themes; 3) the implementation dimension with the time of implementation and content of discharge planning as the sub-themes.Discussion: Complete information given to the patients will bring about a positive impact, so then they can help themselves in relation to their curing time at home. A lack of and unclear information will bring about negative impacts such as mistakes when taking drugs, poor diet, neglecting activity while staying at home

Abstract

Latar Belakang dan Tujuan: Kepuasan pasien merupakan cermin kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang mereka terima. Pelayanan penting yang dapat menjadi faktor penentu kepuasan pasien adalah pelayanan persiapan pemulangan (discharge planning). Discharge planning merupakan kegiatan yang  dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan guna menyiapkan pasien agar mampu melakukan tindakan mandiri pada waktu sudah keluar rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi indeks kepuasan pasien terhadap pelaksanaan discharge planning oleh perawat. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional yang dilakukan di ruang rawat inap kelas I, II, dan III dua rumah sakit di Kabupaten Jember dengan sampel sebanyak 60 responden diambil secara purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil: Rata-rata nilai harapan pada rumah sakit I adalah 3,6690 dengan rata-rata nilai kenyataan 3,0130. Rata-rata nilai harapan pada rumah sakit II adalah 3,5510 dengan rata-rata nilai kenyataan 2,9730. Indeks kepuasan pasien di rumah sakit I antara harapan dan kenyataan terdapat selisih 0,656 dan di rumah sakit II selisihnya 0,578. Hasil uji statistik (t-test) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai harapan dan kenyataan, baik di rumah sakit I (p value = 0,004; α.= 0,05) maupun di rumah sakit II (p value = 0,016; α.= 0,05). Simpulan dan Implikasi: Pelaksanaan discharge planning masih belum menjadi budaya yang mengakar pada diri tenaga kesehatan termasuk perawat, sehingga pelaksanaannya belum maksimal dan belum dapat memberikan rasa puas kepada pasien sebagai penerima layanan. Dengan demikian rumah sakit wajib menetapkan kebijakan yang mengatur tentang discharge planning.

Abstract

Perilaku agresif menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang dialami oleh anak usia sekolah dan kian meningkat, baik secara nonverbal maupun verbal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkungan teman sebaya dan bermain game online yang mengandung unsur kekerasan dengan perilaku agresif. Analisis penelitian mengguanakan cross-sectional dan observasi. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 224. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara teknik probability sampling dengan menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 144 respondent. Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearmen’s Rho. Hasil penelitian didapatkan terdapat hubungan lingkungan teman sebaya dengan perilaku agresif. Tidak adan hubungan bermain game online yang mengandung unsur kekerasan dengan perilaku agresif. Siswa yang mempunyai karakteristik lingkungan teman sebaya yang baik dan intensitas bermain game online rendah akan memiliki sikap dan perilaku yang baik. Lingkungan yang buruk dan intensitas bermain game online yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi perilaku. Penelitian ini sebagai bahan refferensi dan edukasi bagi orang tua tentang bahaya game online terhadap pembentukan sikap dan kepribadian anak di lingkungan keluarga di era kurangnya komunikasi sosial antar keluarga.

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi remaja adalah keadaan sejahtera fisik, mental, dan sosial secara utuh dan bebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan yang berkaitan dengan sistem, fungsi dan proses reproduksi remaja. WHO (2019) menyatakan bahwa masalah kesehatan reproduksi wanita yang buruk mencapai 33% dari jumlah total penyakit yang menyerang wanita di dunia. Salah satu masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang lama menjadi persoalan bagi remaja, utamanya di Indonesia. adalah hubungan sex bebas yang meningkatkan angkakehamilan di luar nikah, aborsi dan penyakit menular seksual pada remaja. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah dengan penguatan informasi melalui program pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Pelaksanaan pendidikan kesehatan telah dilaksanakan secara daring dengan peserta kelas 10 Jurusan IPA dan IPS SMA Hang Tuah 1 pada hari Rabu, 20 Januari 2021 sebanyak 156 siswa. Data menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan baik meningkat dari 54 % menjadi 64 % dan dan tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang menurun menjadi 10 % dari angka 25 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya. Pendidikan kesehatan remaja berikutnya perlu dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan dengan metode edukasi yang interaktif dan menarik melibatkan seluruh siswa di SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi merupakan keadaan fisik, mental, dan sosial yang sejahtera serta terhindar dari penyakit yang berkaitan dengan sistem reproduksi, proses serta fungsinya. Periode remaja dimana terjadi pubertas yang disebabkan fungsi hormonal. Selain menyebabkan perkembangan fungsi reproduksi, hormon juga mempengaruhi dorongan seks remaja, misalnya muncul ketertarikan dengan orang lain. Remaja perlu paham terkait kesehatan reproduksi agar memiliki pengetahuan yang tepat terkait reproduksinya. Remaja diharapkan bertanggung jawab dengan reproduksinya setelah memiliki pengetahuan yang tepat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pengabdian kepada masayarakat dengan tema upaya mewujudkan generasi berencana melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan roproduksi remaja di SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo. Kegiatan meliputi pretest, pemberian Pendidikan Kesehatan, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta posttest untuk mengevalusai tingkat pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 72,4% siswa dengan pengetahuan baik. Tingkat pengetahuan kurang dari 20,0% menurun menjadi 10,1%. Pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi remaja efektif meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksinya.

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is a condition in which there is a sudden cessation of the normal circulation of blood due to failure of the heart to contract effectively during the systolic phase. Basic Life Support is an advanced life support for cardiac arrest patients which aims to stop the process leading to death. The high mortality rate due to cardiac arrest is influenced by the lack of knowledge of how to handle cardiac arrest victims so that the motivation to help victims is minimal in the community. This study aims to see the effect of Basic Life Support health education on the motivation to help victims. Pre Experimental Research Design with One-group pre-post test design. Population of level 3 students of STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya. Sampling using simple random sampling. The number of samples is 88 people. The independent research variable is health education with the Basic Life Support learning video method, the dependent variable is motivation to help victims. The measuring instrument was given 2 times for health promotion. This study used a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the factors that influenced the level of knowledge with motivation to help p < 0.000 where, p value < 0.05, then there was an influence before being given health education and after being given Basic Life Support health education on the motivation to help victims. The implication of the research is that it is necessary to provide basic life support health education to students for first aid for cardiac arrest victims.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has made several efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19; however, it has not been entirely successful. The reason is different perceptions among the people regarding susceptibility or their belief about the Covid-19 virus. The research aims to identify the relationship between susceptibility, severity, and benefit perceptions and the Covid-19 infection prevention behaviour. The research design was analytical observational with cross-sectional and probability sampling using stratified random sampling. The research population was 530 students and 238 students as the samples. It used the questionnaire as the instrument using Google Form, whereas the Data was tested using Spearman rho. The research results showed that most of the students were categorized as poor in their susceptibility perception (56.1%) and severity perception (45.6%). In comparison, the benefit perception was (79,4%) in the good category, and Covid- 19 prevention behaviour was (80,3%).

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the number and size of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels fall below the set normal limit, resulting in disruption of the capacity of the blood to transport oxygen throughout the body. The incidence of anemia in Indonesia is 48.9% with the proportion of anemia in the age group 15-24 years namely 32%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of anemia in class X students at SMAN 1 Sukahaji, Majalengka Regency in 2023. This type of research uses an observational analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 129 female students taken by probability random sampling from 187 female students. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. From the results of statistical tests, it was found that there was a relationship between nutritional status (p=0.017), menstrual cycle (p=0.014), menarche (p=0.000), knowledge about anemia (p=0.000) and adherence to taking iron supplement tablets (p=0.000 ) with the incidence of anemia in class X students at SMAN 1 Sukahaji, Majalengka Regency in 2023. It was concluded that nutritional status, menstrual cycle, menarche, knowledge about anemia and adherence to taking blood supplement tablets are factors associated with anemia in class X students at SMAN 1 Sukahaji, Majalengka Regency in 2023. It is recommended for female students to increase consumption of iron and protein and it is hoped that the role of parents or teachers to monitor female students in consuming iron tablets.

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant public health concern, impacting physical growth and impeding children's development. Mothers, who play a crucial role in stimulating children's development, often encounter barriers in providing effective stimulation, primarily due to limited access to appropriate resources and information. Online education can bridge this gap by offering easily accessible learning. This aim of this study was to determine the effect of online education on maternal knowledge and attitudes in providing developmental stimulation for stunting toddlers. A quasi-experimental research design was employed, comprising a treatment group and a control group, each consisting of 46 mothers with stunting toddlers, sampled purposively. The treatment group received an online developmental stimulation educational intervention through WhatsApp groups for twelve meetings, each lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Meanwhile, the control group participated in a stunting assistance program provided by the community health centers (Puskesmas). To compare the knowledge and attitudes between groups, Mann-Whitney and independent Student t-test were used. The assessment of intervention effects on knowledge and attitudes was conducted using Wilcoxon and paired Student t-test within each group. Following the educational intervention on developmental stimulation, there was a significant increase in knowledge; however, there was no significant difference in attitudes. The treatment group (mean score 3.9±1.76) had a higher increase in knowledge scores compared to the control group (2.0±2.25) with a p<0.001. Nonetheless, no significant difference in attitudes was observed between the two groups with the mean change scores was 5.8±15.31 in treatment group and 2.5±18.69 for control group, with a p=0.335. This study suggests that providing online education leads to increased knowledge scores but does not impact attitudes significantly. Additional educational approaches should be considered to enhance maternal attitudes.
