Abstract

CPI is one of the economic indicators that can provide information on development of prices for goods and services paid by consumers or the society, especially urban societies. CPI is usually used to measure price changes, but not to measure the price level. In addition, the CPI also can be used as a benchmark to determine inflation or deflation in a certain area. CPI value after the COVID-19 pandemic is the object to be predicted. There are 11 category in the CPI. This category is named COICOP which one of it is food, beverage and tobacco. The purpose of this research was to determine the ARIMA model to forecast the CPI value in the COICOP of food, beverage and tobacco in Banten Province. The data used is CPI data of COICOP for food, beverage and tobacco in Banten period January 2019 to April 2022. Based on these data obtained several prospective ARIMA models that passed the model diagnostic stage. The Models are ARIMA (0.3,1), ARIMA (1,3,0) and ARIMA (2,3,0) with MSE 1.1294, 1.9496 and 1.2484. The ARIMA (0.3.1) model was chosen because it has the smallest MSE value of 1.1294. Forecasting using the ARIMA (0.3.1) model obtained a significant increase in the CPI value from May to December 2022

Abstract

Banten 1 Suralaya Power Plant is a Coal-Fired Steam Power Plant. The issue at hand is the high downtime of the coal pulverizer system, which experienced 195 failures across the seven coal pulverizer systems in 2023, resulting in a total downtime of 1,020.3 hours. This research focuses on Coal Pulverizer System C, which had the highest downtime, averaging 274 hours in 2023. The aim is to identify the factors causing the failures and to propose a maintenance scheduling plan. This research employs the Reliability Centered Maintenance method, which is a logical engineering process to determine maintenance tasks that will ensure a reliability system design under specific operating conditions in a particular operational environment using a downtime analysis approach. The proposed maintenance scheduling is based on the calculations of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time To Repair. Based on the downtime analysis, it is known that the performance of the Coal Pulverizer C system is still optimal with an average availability of 94%. A failure mode of the Coal Feeder component was identified with an RPN of 320 as the dominant cause of the damage. Additionally, from the Function Block Diagram and Logic Tree Analysis, 2 failure modes were found in category B (Outage Problem) and 5 failure modes in category C. (Economic Problem). With the Reliability Centered Maintenance method based on the calculations of Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time To Repair, a maintenance schedule is proposed for the components of the Coal Pulverizer System C, namely: Pulverizer Body every 115 days, Pulverizer Motor every 76 days, Lube Oil System every 15 days, Coal Feeder every 25 days, Coal Feeder Motor every 57 days, Control Instrument & Indicator System for Pulverizer every 32 days, and Control Instrument & Indicator for Coal Feeder every 46 days.

Abstract

A common problem often faced by companie is the instability if the supply of raw materials needed by the company. Likewise, the Nadin’s Onion Chips Business has not implemented a stable raw materials inventory control system. The aim of this research is to control raw material inventory to determine the optimal inventory cost value. The methods used are Economic order Interval (EOI) and Lagrange Multplier. Based on the results, the cost of supplies for tapioca flour was IDR 429.204, wheat flour IDR 429.204, eggs IDR 151.514, garlic IDR 151.578, shallots IDR 172.706, celery IDR 107.301, vegetable oil IDR 239.918 , salt amounting to Rp. 177.822 and flavorings amounting to IDR. 176.394. Meanwhile, using the Lagrange Multiplier method produces inventory costs for tapioca flour of IDR 435.081, wheat flour of IDR 454.352, eggs of IDR 193.917, garlic of IDR 156.468, shallots of IDR 183.314, celery of IDR 113.702, oil vegetables amounting to IDR 243.355, salt amounting to IDR 183.053 and flavorings amounting to IDR 179.815. From the calculation results it can be concluded that the EOI method is more optimal than the Lagrange Multiplier method because EOI has minimum inventory costs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini didasari dari permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat desa Mongpok sebagai mitra mengenai persaingan industri rumah tangga emping yang semakin meningkat. Tujuan kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreatifitas pelaku usaha emping melinjo di desa mongpok dengan melakukan inovasi produk  yaitu emping jumbo dengan varian rasa guna meningkatkan nilai jual di pasaran. Pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 1 – 14 Agustus 2022 di desa Mongpok, Kecamatan Cikeusal, Kabupaten Serang. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah adalah pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung dengan strategi pelaksanaannya berupa  observasi, wawancara, demonstrasi, analisa dan diskusi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah emping jumbo dengan varian rasa layak jual serta sangat diminati karena rasanya yang enak dan kemasannya yang menarik. para pelaku UMKM emping di Mongpok menjadi termotivasi untuk melakukan berbagai inovasi produk dengan tujuan meningkatkan nilai jual emping. Masyarakat merasa perlu memiliki keahlian, keterampilan dan kreatifitas dalam pengolahan produk emping mengingat pesatnya persaingan usaha emping di Banten. Sebagian besar pengrajin emping desa Mongpok tertarik untuk mengembangkan lebih lanjut inovasi emping yang sudah dilaksanakan yaitu emping jumbo, dengan menambah varian rasa, label yang lebih baik dan lainnya.

Abstract

Pengoptimalan daya pikir anak tentunya juga didukung oleh asupan gizi yang diserap oleh tubuh dan otak anak. Anak dengan gizi yang baik dan seimbang tentunya mengalami tumbuh kembang yang baik pula, namun kenyataannya banyak para orang tua yang kurang memperhatikan dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai gizi seimbang. Kebanyakan orang tua hanya memperhatikan anak mau makan tanpa memahami apakah asupan gizi sudah terpenuhi dengan baik atau belum dalam makanan tersebut. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan edukasi tentang gizi seimbang pada anak usia dini di masyarakat, khususnya di Kelurahan Nyapah yang menjadi salah satu mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Sasarannya adalah para orang tua di kelurahan Nyapah agar memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang baik mengenai gizi seimbang untuk anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 3 hari dan diikuti 25 orang tua yang memiliki anak-anak usia dini. Peserta sangat antusias dan bersemangat menerima materi yang diberikan dan melakukan diskusi interaktif. Hasil pre test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan orang tua dari 63,45 menjadi 75,13 setelah mengikuti edukasi gizi seimbang ini. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat dikatakan berhasil. Para orang tua mulai menyadari pentingnya gizi seimbang untuk tumbuh kembang anak. Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Gizi, Kesehatan, Pengetahuan Orang Tua.
