Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises product is one of the economics pillar in Indonesia, nevertheless the interest for Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises advancement is still lacking. One of the Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises product, Chrisna Home Spa & Aromatherapy, still does not have significant media promotion since the last 4 years. Chrisna Home Spa & Aromatherapy is a natural product which rarely known by society and being accused plagiarism because unintended similarities with other brand product packaging, Bali Ratih. This become the background to design Chrisna Home Spa & Aromatherapy promotion media which use Ayurveda therapy from India as its product base. As a distinctive effort, an icon or product character that represent each of the fragrance variant will done by manual drawing. Research method use qualitative method which done by doing interview, observation, documentation, and study literature to obtain data as a support to make promotion media design concept. The keyword that was found from promotion media design data analysis is “graceful”. So the media design use concept based on simplicity, luxurious, elegant, clean and modern as an elaboration from the previous keyword. The result from the promotion media is to introduce new image of Chrisna Home Spa & Aromatherapy product to society as solution for the previous problem. Keywords: Promotion Media, Aromatherapy, Spa, Icon, Brand Awareness

Abstract

Abstract: The goal of the design campaign advertising Adiwiyata Gresik is to raise awareness of the environment in the school district. Further research was conducted using qualitative research methods that do interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the manufacture of the design concept of the ad campaign. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After analyzing the data, found a design concept or keyword advertising campaign is "Truly". Description of "Truly" is a being who really or actually owned. The concept of "Truly" aims to show that Gresik is the region that has the identity of environmentally education. That is, the concept of truly presented to instill public perception that environmentally education in Indonesia is Gresik. Results from the design ad campaign is to raise awareness on the environment and is expected to schools that have not received awards Adiwiyata compelled to care for the environment, so as to achieve the award Adiwiyata. Keywords: Advertising Campaign, Adiwiyata, Environment, Animation Explainer

Abstract

Abstract: The goal of the rebranding of Surabaya Zoo is to preserve the local culture. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of rebranding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. rom the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to the communication strategy rebranding which will be used to achieve the intended targets of the audians. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design of rebranding of "Smart". The description of the concept is smart thinking and the nature of the child that shows intelligence. The concept of "Smart" aims to show that the Zoo in Surabaya was the tour has the identity pndidikan, ex-situ, research and recreation. The concept of smart aims to convey the identity of Surabaya Zoo to the tourists to pay a visit to the place that is capable of offering entertainment and education for children. Abstract

Abstract: Surabaya is known as the city of heroes that rapidly growing into a metropolitan city. It is been called as the city of heroes for a good times does not make its local legend keeps alive and being told to the younger generations. On the contrary, they are gradually dulled and being thrown aside off the coming of more popular imported fairy tales. Effort needs to be made to create a more creative approach thus pick the younger generation’s interest to read local legends and fairy tales. Multi-constructional pop-up can be considered as one of the better approach. The design is done with observation, interview, and literature studies using keyword viewpoint literature review result namely kids, pop-up book, Sawunggaling legend, and Surabaya. By using qualitative method of analysis that is supported by indicators STP (Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning) and USP (Unique Selling Proposition)  obtained the word “jaunty” that can be described into “having or expressing a lively, cheerful and self-confident manner” as the design concept. “Sawunggaling – a Journey of an Epic Hero” as the tittle with traditionally drew illustrations and multi-constructional pop-up designs as the point of interest. Keywords: Design, Illustration book, multi-constructional pop-ups, legends, Surabaya, Sawunggaling, jaunty

Abstract

The purpose of designing advertising campaigns Trunk and Feeder as the new public transport Surabaya is to raise awareness of the status of the transport and traffic impact on congestion in the city of Surabaya. Further research was conducted using qualitative research methods that do interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the manufacture of the design concept of the ad campaign. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After analyzing the data, found a design concept or keyword advertising campaign namely "Impressive". Description of "Impressive" is Memorable. The concept of "Impressive" aims to show that the Trunk and Feeder are expected to have an impression in the eyes of the public using public transport compared with the previous public transport. That is, the impressive concept presented to instill public perception, that the Trunk and Feeder is public transportation memorable. Results from the design ad campaign is to raise awareness of the state of transportation in the city of Surabaya, which if left unchecked will cause congestion and so we need to start public awareness willing to use public transport.Keywords: Advertising, Campaign, Trunk, Feeder, Infographic

Abstract

Abstract: The goal of the design of Environmental Graphic Design Museum Ten November Surabaya is as a supporting program of Surabaya City Tour tour. The study was conducted using qualitative research methods is to conduct in-depth understanding of the objects that can be done by observation, interviews, documentation and literature to obtain the data used to support the design of Environmental Graphic Design. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the data analysis found some keywords that refer to design communication strategies that will be used to reach the intended target audience. After analyzing the data, found a design concept or keyword of "Flashback" which has the meaning of a flashback. Description of the concept is intended that the visitors were able to identify an iconic design for a museum Ten November Surabaya in various media which include Environmental Graphic Design. Results of this scheme is to support the Surabaya City Tour tourist program which is a program owned by the tourist city of Surabaya as the town hero.Keywords: History, Heroic, Flashback

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the creation of the Graphic Novel biography of Prambanan Temple is to introduce and preserve the folklore of particular legend Roro Jonggrang. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of branding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and conclusions. From the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to a strategy of making books and media that will be used to achieve the target the intended audience. After analysis of the data, the found a concept or design, branding keywords i.e. "Dream". The description of the concept of "Dream" is a realization of a dream that is associated with the imagination of cheerful popularized on the visual aspect to interest children in reading, recognizing and preserving folklore. In this "Dream" or the cheerful dream that this would have a heavy on style and typical experimental images with the purpose of bringing the childs imagination into stories so that raises a folklore against imaging are presented.The result of the creation of this book is to introduce and preserve the folklore of particular legend Roro Jonggrang increasingly eroded by modern times. Keywords: books, illustration,  folklore, dream (dream of cheerful)

Abstract

Abstrak :  Keberadaan tenun ikat di dalam kehidupan masyarakat memiliki peran dan bernilai sangat baik secara ekonomi, sosial dan budaya. Nilai-nilai ini dapat dilihat dari perilaku atau kebiasaan masyarakat daerah Flores. Pentingnya budaya tenun ikat membuat penulis mencoba merancang buku referensi yang berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan tenun ikat tradisional di masyarakat Kabupaten Sikka khususnya di pulau Palue yang merupakan salah satu kepulauan di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Buku yang dirancang ini secara khusus diperuntukkan bagi kalangan remaja di Kabupaten Sikka, karena penulis berasumsi bahwa kaum remaja di kabupaten tersebut lambat laut mengalami perubahan akan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya  minat remaja untuk melestarikan kembali budaya tradisionalnya, salah satunya yaitu dengan menenun.

Abstract

The existence of weaving in the life of society have a role and a very valuable both economically, socially and culturally. These values can be seen from the behavior or habits of local communities Flores. Cultural importance of weaving makes the writer tries to design reference books related to the process of making traditional ikat in Sikka Regency society, especially on the island of Palue which is one of the islands in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Now the government is intensively combating drugs , the government gave orders to every ministry / agency fight against drugs . Given the order , the police area of East Java ( East Java Police ) also participate in helping to combat drugs in the program " Shine ( Clean Brush Drugs) " , but if only the police alone is not the role of the community to help inform the drug eradication will be very long in eradicating .
