Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Setu Wetan Cirebon in the subject of Pancasila Education, which is caused by a teacher-centered learning approach and minimal use of interactive media. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach assisted by the educational game media Wordwall. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis & McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study are 29 students, with data collection techniques comprising observations of teacher and student activities as well as learning outcome tests. The results show an increase in the students' average score from 62 (pre-cycle) to 74 (cycle I) and 81 (cycle II). The percentage of learning completeness increased from 27.59% in the pre-cycle to 58.62% in cycle I and 82.76% in cycle II. Teacher and student activities also experienced significant improvement. In conclusion, the implementation of the TaRL approach assisted by Wordwall media is effective in significantly improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bawang merah memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi hal ini didukung dengan peningkatan konsumsi bawang merah seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk. Penyakit yang sering ditemui pada tanaman bawang merah yaitu penyakit layu yang disebabkan oleh cendawan Fusarium, penggunaan pestisida digunakan secara terus-menerus mengakibatkan pestisida terakumulasi di dalam tanah perlunya penggunaan teknologi pengendalian penyakit layu yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian Trichodermauntuk pengendalian penyakit layu Fusarium pada tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari - Maret 2019di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap cak denganperlakuan terdiri dari 1 faktor yaitu dosis Trichodermadengan taraf perlakuan sebagai berikut: (P0) tanpa Trichoderma sebagai kontrol negatif, (P1) dosis 10 g/lubang tanam, (P2) dosis 15 g/lubang tanam, (P3) dosis 20 g/lubang tanam sebagai kontrol positif, (P4) dosis 25 g/lubang tanam, (P5) dosis 30 g/lubang tanam. Percobaan terdiri6 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan, data dianalisis dengan analisis varian pada taraf 5% jika beda nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%.Efektifitas pemberian dosis Trichoderma yang disebabkan penyakit Fusarium pada tanaman bawang merah memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan jumlah daun serta intensitas serangan penyakit sedangkan tidak berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah umbi, dan diameter umbi. Perlakuan dengan dosis Trichoderma 30 g menunjukan hasil terbaik dalam parameter tinggi tanaman, dan diameter umbi sedangkan dosis 20 g sebagai dosis anjuran efektif untuk serangan layu Fusarium. Penggunaan dosis Trichoderma 10 g memberikan hasil terbaik dalam parameter jumlah daun, jumlah umbi dan berat umbi.Trichoderma dosis 10 g sudah efektif untuk serangan layu dengan produksi bawang merah terbaik.

Abstract

The optimization of Jamnapari manure in Kalianyar Village, Bondowoso Regency has not been considered to be optimal because of the lack of knowledge of farmers regarding its management. This becomes a problem itself as Jamnapari manure has a decent potential to be utilized as compost. Additionally, the thickhead plant is widely spread around Kalianyar Village, but it is also known as weeds by the villagers. The aim of this program is to analyze the effectiveness of the socialization of Jamnapari manure and thickhead utilization as the base materials of compost in Kalianyar Village, Ijen District, Bondowoso Regency. The respondents were chosen through a random sampling method and the t-test is used as the methodology in this research. After the results were proven to be significant, the measurement of socialization effectiveness (ES), which can be measured from the score pretest and post-test obtained by the farmers, was conducted with 11 respondents. Through used method, it was found that the obtained effectiveness value of 81.8% which gives evidence that this program was running very effectively due to the score increase on the post-test compared to the pretest’s score after the demonstration and socialization.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the popular drinks for Indonesian people. Coffee consumption in Indonesia has increased very rapidly. The influence of lifestyle and the increasing number of cafes and coffee shops contribute to the increase in coffee consumers. One downstream processing of coffee beans is roasting coffee beans, which consists of light, medium, and dark roasting. This study aimed to determine the antioxidant activity of Gununghalu Arabica Coffee (Coffea arabica L.) with Light Roasting, Medium Roasting, and Dark Roasting Techniques. This research is an experimental study, where the antioxidant activity analysis was carried out using the DPPH method (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl). Gununghalu Arabica coffee with light, medium, and dark roasting techniques positively containing flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, and terpenoids. The results showed that the IC50 value of Gununghalu Arabica coffee for light, medium, and dark roasting was 102.94 ppm, 70.66 ppm, and 87.66 ppm. The test results show that the antioxidant activity of Gununghalu Arabica coffee with light roasting techniques are moderate, while medium and dark roasting techniques are strong. The results of this study are expected to provide implications for the development of coffee processing techniques to have maximum health benefits.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of flipped classroom-based online learning to improve students' creative thinking skills. The type of research is meta-analysis research. Research data comes from 13 national and international journals published in 2018-2023. Data analysis using the JSAP application. The inclusion criteria in this meta-analysis are research obtained from Google Scholar, Researchgate, Taylor of Francis and Mendeley, research must be experimental or quasi-experimental methods related to flipped classroom-based online learning in experimental classes and conventional models in control classes, research comes from indexed journals SINTA and Scopus and research have complete data to calculate the effect size value. The research results concluded that the implementation of online based learning based on the flipped classroom had a positive effect on students' creative thinking skills with a mean effect size value of 1.080 in the high effect size category. These findings explain that online learning based on the flipped classroom is effectively implemented by schools to encourage students' creative thinking skills. Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and response to e-modules assisted by the ILS Go-Lab platform on light wave material. This research is an R&D (research and development) study with the ADDIE model. The product has been validated by three experts. Responses to the use of e-modules assisted by the ILS Go-Lab platform on light wave material were obtained from the responses of MA Siti Mariam Banjarmasin students. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The e-module was declared very valid, with an average percentage of 90.40% from material experts and 95.56% from media experts. The ILS Go-Lab platform is declared very valid, with an average percentage of 94.17% from material experts and 96.67% from media experts. Student responses to the use of the E-module and ILS Go-Lab Platform were stated to be very good, with an average percentage of 90.51% for the e-module and 90.08% for the ILS Go-Lab platform. It can be concluded that the ILS Go-Lab platform-assisted learning e-module on light waves material is stated to be very valid and gets a very good response from students.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of supporting facilities for physics practicum activities, such as laboratories and teaching aids, so skills competence in optical material is not carried out. This study aimed to determine the validity of the Optical Practicum KIT with the validity of the Guided Inquiry-based worksheets. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate). The data in this study are product validity obtained from 3 expert validators. The research results data were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the validity of the Optical Practicum KIT was stated to be very valid by the validator with a value of 84,83%, and the validity of the Guided Inquiry-based worksheet was also stated to be very valid with a value of 89,56%, so it was suitable for use as a physics learning medium. Hopefully, this research can be further refined in terms of construction and adding components such as microcontroller sensors, as well as implementing or testing products with experimental research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam naskah drama "Kebebasan Abadi: Tragedi Kepahlawanan" karya C. M. Nas dengan pendekatan strukturalisme. Sastra dipahami sebagai hasil karya kreatif yang menggunakan bahasa sebagai media penyampaian untuk mengungkapkan ekspresi dan emosi penulis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan data sesuai dengan konteksnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa naskah drama tersebut mengandung beberapa unsur intrinsik: tokoh, peran, karakter, motif, konflik, peristiwa, alur, penggunaan bahasa, latar, tema, dan amanat. Tokoh utama terdiri dari enam karakter dengan peran dan karakteristik yang berbeda. Motif utama adalah keinginan untuk bebas dari penjajahan, dengan latar tempat di sebuah pulau tepi pantai. Alur yang digunakan adalah alur maju, dan penggunaan bahasa yang mudah dipahami oleh berbagai kalangan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang struktur intrinsik yang membangun naskah drama "Kebebasan Abadi: Tragedi Kepahlawanan".

Abstract

Kolostrum merupakan cairan pertama yang diproduksi oleh kelenjar mammae pada hari pertama hingga hari keempat setelah persalinan. Cairan ini mengandung tissue debris serta sisa-sisa sel yang berasal dari alveoli dan duktus kelenjar payudara, sekaligus berfungsi sebagai sumber antibodi penting bagi bayi baru lahir. Tingkat pendidikan seseorang turut berpengaruh dalam proses penerimaan informasi, termasuk dalam hal kesehatan. Individu dengan pendidikan lebih tinggi cenderung lebih mudah memahami dan menerapkan informasi kesehatan, sementara tingkat pendidikan yang rendah dapat menjadi hambatan dalam pembentukan sikap positif terhadap perilaku kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu post partum dengan praktik pemberian kolostrum di RSU Muslimat Ponorogo. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh ibu post partum di RSU Muslimat Ponorogo, dan sampel diperoleh menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah 60 responden. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat pendidikan ibu, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah tindakan pemberian kolostrum. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pendidikan menengah (SMA) dan tingkat pendidikan tinggi (diploma/sarjana). Dari responden yang berpendidikan menengah, sekitar 83% memberikan kolostrum, sedangkan pada pendidikan tinggi sebesar 93,7% memberikan kolostrum. Analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai p < 0,001, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu post partum dan pemberian kolostrum di RSU Muslimat Ponorogo

Abstract

Vitamin B1 (Tiamin HCl) memiliki peran penting dalam tubuh khususnya pada sistem saraf. Vitamin B1 terdapat pada berbagai jenis makanan, salah satunya adalah nasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek dari penggunaan Rice Cooker terhadap kadar Vitamin B1 yang terdapat dalam nasi putih yang dihangatkan pada variasi waktu penghangatan yaitu 0, 6 dan 12 jam. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak tiga jenis beras putih dengan kualitas berbeda. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan reaksi warna timbal asetat, dan pereaksi diazotasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kadar Vitamin B1 dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Visible. Hasil penelitian dari ketiga sampel, menunjukkan masih terdapat kandungan Vitamin B1 pada nasi yang dihangatkan, namun kadar Vitamin B1 mengalami penurunan. Sampel 1 memiliki kadar Vitamin B1 paling tinggi dengan rata-rata kadar Vitamin B1 pada pada waktu 0 jam sebesar 34,02 mg/Kg, 6 jam sebesar 27,26 mg/Kg, dan 12 jam sebesar 23,99 mg/Kg. Diikuti sampel 3 dengan kadar Vitamin B1 sebesar 24,58 mg/Kg pada waktu 0 jam, 18,34 mg/Kg pada waktu 6 jam dan 13,75 mg/Kg pada waktu 12 Jam. Kandungan terkecil ada pada Sampel 2 yang memiliki kadar vitamin B pada waktu 0 jam sebesar 13,64 mg/Kg, 6 jam yaitu 13,64 mg/Kg, dan 12 jam sebesar 10,52 mg/Kg. Berdasarkan hasil statistik, data berdistribusi normal dan masing-masing sampel terdapat perbedaan bermakna dengan nilai signifikansi (P<0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa semakin lama waktu penghangatan dalam rice cooker, maka kandungan Vitamin B1 di dalam nasi putih semakin menurun.
