Abstract

Baung fish (Mystus nemurus CV) is a fish of high economic value. Thepurpose of research to reproductive aspects (sex ratio, gonad maturity level (TKG),gonad maturity index (IKG), first time size mature gonad, fecundity and eggdiameter). The study was conducted from March to May 2013 at three locations . Themethod used descriptive analytic .Sex ratio of Baung fish with unbalanced sex ratio with a value of 4.5>3.8.Gonad maturity level (TKG) found I- IV, while the male fish only I- III. gonadmaturity index (IKG) female fish 0.01-7.33% and 0.01-0.26% for male fish . The firstgonad size mature female fish is 268 mm . Fecundity of Baung fish is 18229-44 392eggs . Distribution diameter on the distribution of fish eggs female 0.38 to 2.05 mm.Keyword : Baung fish, Bingai river, Fish reproduction, Mystus nemurus CV.

Abstract

Saat ini kelompok budidaya ikan koi di Desa Perbarakan masih terfokus pada proses pemijahan alami sehingga perlu penerapan teknologi pemijahan semi alami yang dinilai dapat meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi ikan koi. Metode eksperimen lapangan yang dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan pemijahan alami dengan pemijahan semi alami menggunakan induk ikan koi yang siap dipijahkan dengan perbandingan 2 : 1 yaitu 2 ekor jantan (Kohaku dan Shiro) dan 1 betina (Tancho sanke doitsu) dengan melalui parameter pengamatan fekunditas, derajat pembuahan, daya tetas telur dan sitasan larva. Hasil variasi nilai fekunditas pemijahan alami adalah 7000 butir dan pemijahan semi alami adalah 14.000 butir, derajat pembuhan telur (FR) pemijahan alami adalah 71,42% dan pemijahan semi alami sebesar 85,71%, selanjutnya persentase daya tetas telur ikan koi pada pemijahan alami adalah 90% dan pemijahan semi alami sebesar 95% , sintasan larva tertinggi pada pemijahan semi alami 78,26% sedangkan pada pemijahan alami 44,44%. Sehingga penggunaan bantuan hormon ovaprim dinilai dapat menghemat waktu proses pemijahan dan tingkat keberhasilan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan teknik pemijahan alami

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek biologi reproduksi ikan gulamah (Johnius trachycephalus) meliputi rasio kelamin, tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad, ukuran pertama kali matang gonad, ukuran pertama kali ikan tertangkap, fekunditas dan diameter telur yang didaratkan di TPI Tanjung Beringin Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni – Agustus 2022. Sampel ikan gulamah selama penelitian sebanyak 137 ekor yang terdiri dari 65 ekor ikan jantan dan 72 ekor ikan betina. Hasil reproduksi menunjukkan rasio kelamin dalam keadaan seimbang dilihat dari perbandingan ikan jantan dan betina 1:1,09. Ikan gulamah ditemukan pada TKG I-TKG IV. Indeks kematangan gonad jantan 1,109-2,383 dan betina 4,672-7,234. Ukuran pertama kali matang gonad ikan gulamah jantan berukuran 127,596 mm dan betina berukuran 122,727 mm. ukuran pertama kali ikan gulamah jantan tertangkap berukuran 146,690 mm dan betina berukuran 149,720 mm. Fekunditas telur berkisar antara 19.726-110.343 butir, diameter telur berukuran 0,123-0,710 mm. Berdasarkan data diketahui biologi reproduksi ikan gulamah di TPI Tanjung Beringin Serdang Bedagai masih dalam keadaan baik

Abstract

Binasi Beach is located in West Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province and borders the Indian Ocean. This beach is one of the beaches where several types of turtles land. Characteristics of the sandy substrate and coastal vegetation such as sea pine which is not too thick and the beach is sloping make turtles often land to lay their eggs. Semi-natural nests are widely used by conservation communities in an effort to protect endangered turtle eggs in natural habitats. This research was carried out from January to February 2022. The purpose of this activity was to determine the characteristics of the nesting habitat and the location of the turtle eggs (Lepidochelys olivacea) hatching as a turtle conservation area effort on the Binasi coast of North Sumatra Province. The method used is a descriptive survey method. Descriptive survey method is a method of collecting data by direct observation. The results showed a beach length of 1.50 m, narrow beach width, gentle beach slope, tidal type of semi-diurnal tide, white fine sand substrate and other parameters classified as normal for turtle nesting sites. The hatching rate of eggs at Station I is 100%, this is the highest value for each station, followed by station II which has the lowest hatching rate of 93.75% with a total average of 96.87%, this concludes that the success rate of hatching semi-natural eggs is very high good).
