Abstract

Sharia is intertwined with fiqh. In English terminology, Sharia is translated as “Islamic law based on the Quran.” In the context of reforming Islamic law in Indonesia, the method of talfiq is needed, selectively choosing opinions that align with the conditions in Indonesia. It is believed that the Islamic legal tradition, in terms of formation, reform, or legal development, is closer to the Anglo-Saxon legal system known as precedent law. This is because Muslims fully accept that all the dogma, principles, and Islamic sharia are already perfected in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. The question at hand is how these legal texts can be guaranteed to remain relevant and capable of meeting the needs of all times, places, cultural contexts, and social levels. This study delves deeper into the Sharia within the Contemporary Era, relating to the Typology of Islamic Legal Reform Actualization and the Application of Islamic Law in Indonesia. The research is a literature study, focusing on the examination of figures and the object of study, which is Sharia in a modern context. This study employed a qualitative approach to analyze the Typology of Islamic Legal Reform Actualization and the Application of Islamic Law in Indonesia. The dynamics of Islamic law in Indonesia are expected to continue evolving and innovating so that in the future, Islamic law with universal value will not only pertain to the realm of fiqh muamalat (transactions) and akhwal sakhsiah (personal matters) but will also contribute positively to the development of national law in Indonesia in various aspects.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic Spiritual Activities (ROHIS) are highly beneficial in shaping a generation of Muslims who not only impact learning outcomes but also influence their spirituality. This research aims to address the issue of whether ROHIS activities affect the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study uses a Quantitative Method, also known as field research, conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede, Bogor Regency. It provides an overview of the issues through analysis with a scientific approach based on the situation in the field. The study aims to examine how the influence of Islamic Spiritual Extracurricular Activities affects the learning outcomes of PAI for 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede. The research data collected were analyzed using SPSS through several tests, including Descriptive Data, Instrument Test, Prerequisite Test, and Hypothesis Test. Based on the descriptive data calculations using descriptive statistics, it was found that the average score for variable X = 45.31 and variable Y = 85.09, the median or middle value for variable X = 45.00 and variable Y = 85.00, the mode or most frequent value for variable X = 40 and variable Y = 88, the standard deviation or difference score for variable X = 10.225 and variable Y = 2.291, the variance for variable X = 104.544 and variable Y = 5.249, the range score for variable X = 56 and variable Y = 6, the minimum score for variable X = 22 and variable Y = 82, the maximum score for variable X = 78 and variable Y = 88, and the total score for variable X = 1450 and variable Y = 2723. To determine whether there is an effect of variable X on Y, a Hypothesis Test was conducted using the Pearson product-moment correlation formula, a Significance Test using the t-test, and a Determination Coefficient. The results of the correlation test showed that the value of rhitung = 0.442 > r table = 0.266, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating a positive influence of ROHIS activities on PAI learning outcomes. The results of the significance test show that the p-value (sig.) = 0.011 > 0.05 and the t-count value = 2.700 > t-table = 1.674, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating a significant correlation between ROHIS activities and PAI learning outcomes. The contribution calculation (R Square/Determination Coefficient) or the influence of ROHIS activities on PAI learning outcomes is R2 x 100% = 0.4422 x 100% = 19.5%. This means that the contribution of ROHIS activities affects PAI learning outcomes by 19.5%, while 80.5% is influenced by other factors. These factors may include external and internal factors.

Abstract

Learning motivation refers to the internal drive within students that encourages them to acquire knowledge to achieve the success they aspire to. The lack of learning motivation in students becomes a challenge because the teacher’s teaching strategies are less innovative, particularly in applying teaching methods. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the Demonstration Method and learning motivation at SMP Islam Said Yusuf Depok. The research variables include the Demonstration Method (X) and Learning Motivation (Y). The population in this study consisted of all students at Sa'id Yusuf Islamic Middle School, totaling 131 individuals. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so the sample taken specifically for class VIII students amounted to 50 people. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documents. Data analysis was performed using SPSS statistics, including data description, validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, and correlation test with product-moment Pearson correlation, significance test, and coefficient of determination. The data description for the Demonstration Method shows an average score of 125.62, a median of 127.50, a mode of 130, a standard deviation of 8.647, and a variance of 74.771, with the highest score being 147 and the lowest being 106. The data description for learning motivation shows an average score of 116.96, a median of 118.00, a mode of 102, a standard deviation of 8.647, and a variance of 329.546, with the highest score being 148 and the lowest being 78. The hypothesis test results, which examine the relationship between the Demonstration Method (variable X) and learning motivation (variable Y), show a correlation coefficient of r = 0.393 > r table 0.279. Therefore, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected, indicating a positive relationship between the demonstration method and learning motivation in Fiqih subjects at SMP Islam Said Yusuf Depok. The correlation between these variables is statistically significant, as demonstrated by the t-test value of 2.960 > t table 2.021. The coefficient of determination is 0.154, meaning the contribution of the Demonstration Method to learning motivation is 15.4%, with the remaining influence coming from other factors.

Abstract

Education is very important for children since they will be responsible for the progress of the nation and the country. However, in reality, many children still drop out of school, especially in Bogor Regency. The Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bogor (Bogor Regency Education Office) noted that throughout 2021, a total of 1,884 children had dropped out of school. Responding to this fact, it is necessary to hold community outreach activities on the campaign of mainstreaming education for children in society. Based on the background mentioned above, the Islamic Religious Education and Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program STAI Al-Hamidiyah Jakarta held community service activities in the form of counseling with the theme "The Importance of Education for Children" in Sawahlega Hamlet, Pabuaran Village, Kemang District, Bogor Regency of West Java. This community service is carried out by observing, interviewing, and preparing for the counseling activities. These community outreach activities result in some hopes that education can encourage parents and people of Dusun Sawahlega to fulfill and pay attention to the need for good education for their children. Abstract

Islam is a religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad SAW whose contents teach his people about Faith in Allah SWT must have a history from his childhood to adulthood and even to old age because he is a human role model for the whole world whose life can be used as a guide in guiding his people starting from the way he preached to bring Islam, to whom his teachings were delivered, was it only young children who he conveyed his teachings? The young, the old!, whether his teachings were only delivered to people who were rich? The poor! whether his teachings were delivered to people who had white skin? while the brown to the black! However, he taught, delivered his teachings to anyone regardless of race, ethnicity, throne and whatever, when did he deliver his teachings, was it only once a week, once a month, or once a year? However, he spreads, teaches Islam every day both by word, deed, silence, even with his traits, why he was sent to be a Messenger, are we not worthy! Of course we as humans will not be able to be like him because he was chosen directly by Allah as rahmatan lil alamin, where he da'wah, whether only in one place or two places,Of course not he taught this religion everywhere until what we see now is also thanks to him and to how he interacted with people who opposed his teachings, how he cultivated himself to remain calm when his da'wah was rejected even when he went to Thoif his teachings were rejected then the angels were willing to turn the mountain to fall on the Thoifites but he replied with: “If they knew I was a prophet, they would not oppose me.” Then he raised his hand, ‘O Allah, make this place and this people a place for people of faith.’ What a noble prophet and the teachings he brought, namely Islam, because with history we can find out what really happened.

Abstract

Many parents are still unaware of the strengths and unique aspects of their children's development. A limited number of experts available for consultation on child development is one of the causes of issue. This research aims to explore the impact of a parenting seminar focusing on enhancing parents' understanding of Islamic parenting values. A qualitative Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was used, involving observations, interviews, and community engagement to gather data from parents, PKK mothers, and local youth. The seminar was found to successfully increase participants' understanding of Islamic parenting values, particularly those exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The seminar also reinforced the role of parents as primary educators, emphasizing the shared responsibility of both parents in child-rearing. However, challenges in raising awareness and increasing participation were noted, suggesting the need for more effective communication strategies. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on community-based parenting education and highlights the importance of incorporating cultural and religious frameworks. Future seminars should focus on increasing accessibility and deepening content relevance.

Abstract

The curriculum continuously evolves over time, often aligning with the prevailing government policies. Currently, the Merdeka Curriculum has been introduced as the latest educational framework. This study aims to examine the Arabic language curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Mawaddah Ciganjur and evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Arabic language learning at the institution. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collection methods including observation, documentation, and document analysis. Data analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students' ability to respond to questions regarding interrogative sentences in Arabic varies significantly. Some students possess prior learning experiences in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and a basic understanding of Arabic, while others lack such backgrounds. The syllabus incorporates active discussion sessions between teachers and students, ensuring that the learning process is not solely dependent on written materials. Learning evaluations include text analysis tasks focusing on interrogative sentences in Arabic. However, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Mawaddah Ciganjur faces several challenges, particularly in teacher competency, availability of teaching materials, teaching methods, and learning media.
