Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of human resources in an enterprise to produce quality products in the middle of business competition in the globalization era. Human resources is a key factor in mobilizing other resources within the company. PT. Pura Barutama is a manufacturing company which is engaged in the printing industry, the largest in Southeast Asia, which produces various types of paper. But if seen growth results production at PT. Pura Barutama Units Paper Mill was still not stable each year, in which experiencing in 2013 decreased production significantly compared to the previous year. The purpose of this research is to know the level of productivity of work in the production section of the PT. Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill. This research’s type is eksplanatory, techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews and studies library. Sampling techniques using cluster random sampling. The sample in this research totalled 81 respondents who were employees of the production section of PT. Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill. Methods of analysis used in this study is the analysis of simple and multiple regression, with validity tests and reliability tests. Result the research indicated that k3 and discipline work as partialy and simultaneously affect productivity work. Based on these results, PT. Pura Barutama Unit Paper Mill must be able to maintain and increase productivity work employees by giving good k3 to employees and maintain discipline of employees.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the circulation of imitation products that recently arise in some countries including Indonesia. This kind of business also keeps on growing thanks to the ever increasing demands of imitation product and resulted in increasing number of imitation goods purchase in society, especially among college students. Such decision is influenced by several factors, therefore this research will focus on the effect of brand image, price, and life style to the purchasing decision of Louis Vuitton’s imitation handbag. From the analysis it was found all three variables were positive and partially significant effect towards the purchasing decision of the imitation handbag purchase. The variable price coefficient was found to be the biggest, therefore making it the strongest factor for the Purchase Decision of Louis Vuitton’s imitation bag.

Abstract

A method of measuring the performance of the company to assist in knowing the health condition of the company itself. The study was conducted on the CV. Fabamus First Family with Balanced Scorecard approach to measuring through four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspectives. In the financial aspects of performance measurement with a weight of 70%, 10% customer perspective, internal business process perspective 10% as well as learning and growth perspective 10%. Key Performance Indicators on the financial perspective in the form of profitability, activity, liquidity and the respective weights of 35%, 17.5% and 17.5%. Customer perspective with the customer retention KPI weighting of 4.5% and 5.5% customer satisfaction. Internal business process perspective of service quality KPI 5.5% and 4.5% integration of business processes. Learning and growth perspective with employee training KPI 4% and 6% employee satisfaction.The results obtained, healthcare companies in 2009 to 2010 the average in good condition but the scale balanced scorecard measurement expressed overall performance is still not good. Advice can be given the need for improvements in internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspectives.

Abstract

Leadership an employer who responded positively by employees of Hotel Muria Semarang, will be able to grow the assessment that the employer felt able to lead because they have the skills and be able to establish a good relationship with the employees. The working environment is also an impact on employee performance. Environment conducive working atmosphere and full cooperation to further bolster the performance of employees. Phenomenon encountered by researchers baseline data collection, showed there is still a lack of performance forms shown Muria Semarang Hotel employee.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on performance. The hypothesis of this study is there is influence of leadership and work environment on performance. The population in this study were employees of Hotel Muria Semarang totaling 50 people. This study is a population study. The data in this study were collected by three questionnaires, namely questionnaire performance, leadership, and work environment.The result showed that Y = 8,516 + 0,219X1 + 0,185X2 there is influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance Muria Semarang Hotel.The conclusion of this study is there is influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance Muria Semarang Hotel. Suggestions that can diberkan generally is the Muria Semarang Hotel is expected to remain employees can promote a sense of comfort in working through the supervisor's leadership to understand any difficulties experienced employees in the work, so that the employee can show that the maximum performance.

Abstract

economy of Indonesia. Undeniable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is one of the drivers of economic growth in Indonesia. Amid the global crisis which hit many countries in the world, Indonesia proved to be able to continue to survive the economic turmoil. Various SMES growing in Indonesia, one of them is creating guitar in the village of Mancasan, Kec. Baki, Kab. Sukoharjo. Mancasan village is famous as a Center for the manufacture of the guitar because the majority of the residents of the village of Mancasan is the crafters of guitar. But in its development of competition with competitors that are moving on the same type of business make SME guitar in Kec. Baki should implement a range of strategies that can improve the performance of the market.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of business networks, production technology, quality assurance and marketing performance SMEs of guitar in Kec. Baki, Kab. Sukoharjo. This research type is explanatory research. The population in this study i.e. crafters of guitar and SME number of samples taken is 63 respondents. Sampling techniques in the study using a non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Methods of analysis used is cross-tabulations, correlation, linear regression, the determination of the simple, double, t-test and F-test with SPSS program version.Based on the results of the research note that the network business, production technology, quality assurance and a positive and significant effect on performance marketing, whether partial or simultaneous. Free variables that have the greatest influence on performance marketing is a business network variables. As for the advice that can be given to maintaining and enhancing the harmony with a partner, providing a period of training for employees in the future so that raw doesn't do a lot of faults, select human resources, give promo and make sales online in order to increase the pace of sales that will have an impact on the acquisition of profit is received so that the company can keep his survival.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, price, and promotion of the product purchase decisions by first identifying, assessing and measuring consumer perceptions of the amount of sales of products in the market. Researchers conducted a study on the sale of milk powder products fitness L-Men in Semarang.This research was conducted with survey methods (interviews and questionnaires) to 100 (one hundred) of the respondents, the sampling selection technique using purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, validity, reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination and testing with T test curve and test curve F. The independent variable is the quality of the product, price and promotion, while the dependent variable is the purchase decision.The results showed no effect of product quality on purchasing decisions by 35.4%. The effect of price to quality is 35% of purchase decisions and influence on purchasing decisions promotion 40.6%. Taken together the quality of the product, price and promotion has the effect of 51.4%, which means that consumer perceptions of product, price and promotion proportional or positive, which if consumers assess the quality of the product, price, promotion of good will increase the sales of this product.Suggestions for the company is to continue to maintain the quality of products by regularly monitoring the quality of the basic ingredients of products, giving a discount on the purchase of products and continues to promote the increase of the personal selling product knowledge in order to provide solutions to customer needs appropriately is the key to success to improve consumer decision to buy powdered milk products of L-Men

Abstract

Human resources have a significant role in the organization activities. One of the importance of the management of human resources is to maintain the employee's performance. the organization have to pay much attention to the  working environment and enact labor discipline  around the employees that can influence their ability to carry out their duties and to make consistent performance of the employee.This study aims to determine the effect of labor discipline, the influence of the work environment, and the effect of both of labor discipline and the work environment towards employees performance at PT. Bakrie Sumatra Plantations.  This study uses explanatory research methods which is research that seeks to explain and highlight the relationship between the variables proposed in the study and explain the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, in addition to test the hypothesis.  Research sample totaled 94 people taken using the slovin formula with probability sampling techniques. Then the data was analysed using validity, realiabilitas, regression, t and F tests. the results revealed that the majority of respondents stated that the labor discipline has a significant effect on employee performance as indicated by the t value of 47.170 > t table 1.984.  whereas the work environment have significant impact to  the performance of employees indicated by  t value 8.378> t table 1.984. furthermore both of the labor discipline and the work environment have  influence jointly on performance as indicated by F value of 1100.540 with significant value 0.000 <0.05. The biggest impact is contributed by working discipline that is equal to 98%. recommendation can be suggested that in terms of labor discipline the company should increase discipline the employee for example by applying a reducing salary for the late, provide regular training, and enact strict funishment to employees in order to bring deterent effect.  For better  work environment it is necessary to making more frequent cleaning activity. In regard to the ratio between the number of employees and the number of security personnel, the company should be able to rejuvenate for some working facilities. In regard of the employees performance the company's can provide some material and non-material motivation to spur employees to increase their  work, to increase frequency of training and to increase quality control can be done to improve the quality of employment,and  to gather employees in a gathering to further improve the relationship between the companies and employees.

Abstract

PO. Sumber Alam is a private company in the field of transport services are in Kutoarjo. The role of PO. Sumber Alam are very important in helping people who will be traveling to Jakarta or Yogja. PO. Sumber Alam is committed to serve passengers as well as possible so that passengers feel satisfaction with the services toward PO Sumber Alam. The study was conducted in the PO. Sumber Alam Kutoarjo on passenger buses sumber alam Jakarta to Yogyakarta. Based on data obtained it can be seen that in January 2013-March 2014 the last passenger quota provided by the PO. Sumber Alam are not fully charged. This study aims to determine the effect of fare and quality of service to passengers decision in choosing transportation services PO. Sumber Alam. The sample size in this study is as many as 100 respondents were obtained by using the formula Slovin with the characteristics of the selected respondents had used the Sumber Alam bus service at least twice. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The primary data obtained from the questionnaire that has been proposed to obtain a complete picture of what is needed. The analysis in this study is known by calculation software applications (software) SPSS 16 for Windows where the process and results of data analysis as a unit step in hypothesis testing.

Abstract

Marketing performance is a benchmark to know the extent to which the company develops and progresses. To achieve that goal, the Owner of Small and Medium Industry Batik needs to pay attention to the things - things that can affect marketing performance. Moreover, the number of small and medium-sized batik industry in the city of Pekalongan which is a competitor in the batik industry, must demand always innovate and expand the business network. This is what keeps the business going. This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation variables and network capital on marketing performance of IKM Batik Batik Pesindon Pekalongan City. Type of research used is eksplanatory research. The sample used 34 respondents who are the owner of IKM Batik. The sampling technique used is census sampling. Methods of data analysis using correlation test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and f test with the help of program SPPS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 20.0. The results of the analysis concluded that product innovation and network capital have a positive effect on the marketing performance proven through simple linear regression testing that yield regression value of 0.311 and 0.461. The advice given to the company is to strengthen product innovation and evaluate.

Abstract

Although Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are one of the most important parts of Indonesia’s economy, their development faces many challenges. Low capacity of human resources and their knowledge in the field of technology or management are few examples of their challenges. Currently, the knowledge is the main asset in entrepreneurship.The objective of the study is to understand the influence between Intellectual Capital and the performance of MSME in the field of Batik in Semarang, Indonesia. The study uses explanatory research with a sample of 30 entrepreneurs in the field of batik in Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive Sampling.In this study, Intellectual Capital is classified into three categories; Human Capital, Structural Capital and Custumer Capital. Those categories and the performance of MSME are scored based on the questionnaires distributed to the entrepreneurs. The influence between each category of Intellectual Capital and the performance of MSME, and their individual contribution are also quantified. To the performance of MSME, the Human capital has influence (2,771) and contribution (21,5%), the Structural capital has influence (2,518) and contribution (16,8 %), and the Customer Capital has influence (2,381) and low contribution (16,8%). The degree of freedom of those three categories when tested simultaneously is 2,97. This value shows a positive correlation between those three categories and the performance of batik MSME in Semarang.The conclusion of the study is that there is a positive correlation between Intellectual Capital and the performance of batik MSME in Semarang. The entrepreneurs in the field of batik need to strengthen the motivation of their batik craftsmen to follow training courses so that they can compete against the other batik craftsmen outside Semarang. The quality of the craftsmen can be improved by giving them information about training courses and motivation so they gradually increase their knowledge and skills in batik production.
