Abstract

The spread of batik fashion popularity in recent decades developed into a part of people's lifestyles. With the emergence of modern batik nowadays, batik became  popular. Consumers generally favor a creative and innovative products. Consumer purchasing decisions cannot be separated from the beneficial lifestyle and have good quality. Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan as one of the largest batik center in Pekalongan trying to adjust the product to consumer’s lifestyle. Based on the results of interviews is known that there is unstable wholesaler product sales at Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan. This study was aimed to know the influence of activities, interests, and opinions (Lifestyle) on batik product purchasing decisions at Pasar Grosir Setono PekalonganThe sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling and the sampling type used is Purposive Sampling. Sample in this research is 100 respondents consisting of Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan consumers. Data analysis using analysis qualitative and quantitative with validity and reliability, simple regression analysis, double regression analysis, t test and f test with program spss 16.0 for windows.From the research that has been done, it is known that the R2 value of 0.389 which means that the contribution of independent variables that influence the lifestyle of the dependent variable is the purchasing decision amounted to 38.9%, while the remaining 61.1% is influenced by variables outside lifestyle variables.Advice can be given in this study, the batik in Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan should pay attention to lifestyle factors, especially the consumer’s opinion because it has the highest influence over activity and interest aspects. Strategy that can be adopted for the manager and the wholesaler, they are should focus more on efforts to influence consumer opinion about the advantages as characteristics of Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan, giving affordable price to match for consumers because Pasar Grosir Setono Pekalongan is mostly focused product for wholesale selling being so affordable.

Abstract

Leadership an employer who responded positively by employees of Hotel Muria Semarang, will be able to grow the assessment that the employer felt able to lead because they have the skills and be able to establish a good relationship with the employees. The working environment is also an impact on employee performance. Environment conducive working atmosphere and full cooperation to further bolster the performance of employees. Phenomenon encountered by researchers baseline data collection, showed there is still a lack of performance forms shown Muria Semarang Hotel employee.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on performance. The hypothesis of this study is there is influence of leadership and work environment on performance. The population in this study were employees of Hotel Muria Semarang totaling 50 people. This study is a population study. The data in this study were collected by three questionnaires, namely questionnaire performance, leadership, and work environment.The result showed that Y = 8,516 + 0,219X1 + 0,185X2 there is influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance Muria Semarang Hotel.The conclusion of this study is there is influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance Muria Semarang Hotel. Suggestions that can diberkan generally is the Muria Semarang Hotel is expected to remain employees can promote a sense of comfort in working through the supervisor's leadership to understand any difficulties experienced employees in the work, so that the employee can show that the maximum performance.

Abstract

Human resource is one of factors which has important role in developing employment performance. To bear in mind the importance of human resource, thus, a company should pay attention to the factors which work onto human resource in working; one of the is a good leadership. Therefore, the employers could work precisely in its standard and no error. In other hand, motivation is also very important, because it is one of a supportive working factors in a company. Since the employees get work satisfaction, hence, their performance will get better. This research is aimed to get to identify the influence of leadership, motivation and working satisfaction variable toward employment performance in PT Astra Multi Trucks Indonesia. The population of this research is the 75 employees of PT Astra Multi Trucks Indonesia which its questionnaires were distributed by census method. Its measurement scale uses Likert scale and its data analysis uses simple linear regretion test and double regretion test with SPSS 15.0 program.  From the analysis result, it is known that the leadership, motivation and working satisfaction are working, in addition, the employees performance is excellent. Leadership variable plays role towards employees performance up to 48.4 %. Motivation variable influences employees performance up to 46.8 %. Working satisfaction variable influences employees performance up to 45 %. Thus, statistically, leadership, motivation and working satisfaction towards employees performance is 49.2%. It is expected that the better leadership, motivation and working satisfaction will create the better employee performance. According to this research result, PT. Astra Multi Trucks Indonesia management needs to pay attention to the leadership which is undergoing in the company. It can be conclude that a good, tough and wise leadership should be kept up to keep a good work from the employees and also to improve their performance which is click with that the company wants. The satisfaction of the employees is necessary to be considered, moreover, the satisfaction related with the boss toward the workers; each worker and also the working enviroment. A good harmony in a company must be created and improved to make a condusive working enviroment.

between member or between member with organizing committee of the company. Internal conflict thta happen within organization will be very influential with the development and the process of every aspect of the event in organization, due there are negative and positive impacts that caused by this internal conflict. Furthermore, company must have a conflict resolution model that very accurate so it can provide a solution as a whole as well as effective and efficient. Alleged factors that cause internal conflict are the differences in opinions, views, desires, and the goals among members of the organization causing dissatisfaction with the leader of the organization due it is considered not able to resolve the conflict well.The purpose of the research is to analyze internal conflict that happened in PT. FUMIRA’s SPSI which is between members and leader of SPSI along the cause and conflict resolve model which is conducted by SPSI.This research is using accumulation with in depth interview with the research subject. This research shows that internal conflict within SPSI is caused by differences of interest between SPSI member concerning the number of Labor Union in PT. FUMIRA SEMARANG, where as part of the member want to establish new labor union and the other part of the member want to continue as one union labor, as they want to hasten change of the leader. Due lack of sattisfaction of the member with the SPSI leader’s performance. This conflict can be solved with using Bipatrit conflict resolution model, where this conflict not only causing negative impact to the product quality but also causing positive impact in evaluation of the system and development of the worker’s competencies for SPSI and PT. FUMIRA in general.This research suggest that there must be a trust between SPSI’s leader and also the member so it can minimize the disputes on SPSI in the future.

Abstract

Excerpted from The World Factbook of data released by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2013, Indonesia is the fifth largest force among the countries with calculations 118.1 million people in 2012. According to data from ILO (International Labour Organization) to Indonesia in 2013, as many as 52% of the Indonesian labor is dominated by women. Economic factors are the main reasons women choose to be workers. This condition then made the woman labors want the welfare given by the company to be maximum and fulfilled. The factors that support the well-being of labors among others is the role of unions labor and compensation. Through the union labor they sent their aspirations so the role of union labor is very important to specify the welfare of women labors. In addition, compensation is also important for the labors as individuals because of the amount of compensation reflects the size of their work among the workers themselves. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of union labor’s role and compensation for the welfare of women workers PT. Hanil Indonesia. This research type is explanatory research. The population in this study were female workers of PT. Hanil Indonesia and the number of samples taken were 95 respondents. The sampling technique used is theSlovin formula. The analytical method used is the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test and F test with SPSS version 16. Research results through coefficient determination analysis shows that the role of union labor and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the woman labors welfare partially (with results respectively 30.5% and 43.9%) and simultaneously 54.4% for the woman labors welfare.            Based on the results, it can be concluded that the role of union labors in PT. Hanil Indonesia is good, besides the compensation is important in supporting their welfare. The advice given in this study is the union labors should be more responsive and quick in responding to complaints of labors as well as the company further improve the welfare of women laborsthrough the compensation.

Abstract

The role of workers union is affected by several factors, such as good leadership and a strong support from its members. This study aims to identify and explain the effect of leadership and members support on the role of workers union in the Workers union of PT. PLN Persero Area Tegal. This type of research is explanatory research. Techniques of data collection using interviews, questionnaires and observation. The conclusion from this study is that there is effect between leadership and members support on the role of workers unions in Workers union of PT. PLN Persero Area Tegal. Based on the conclusion that the union need to improve human resources, especially the increase in knowledge about the business organization for leaders to be better and there needs to be agreement in appreciation and attention to the work of union members to be comfortable so that workers union can obtain strong members support to improve the role of workers union.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of cultural variables and the company's commitment to corporate social behavior within the company employees of PT. BRI (Persero) Branch Semarang. The population in this study were employees of BRI Semarang branch office. Samples were taken 60 respondents. Measurement scale using a Likert scale. In the analysis of the data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 15.00. Based on the survey results revealed a corporate culture category expressed a strong 71.7%, 70% category of the company's commitment powerful states, and categories of social behavior in the company (78.3%) stated either. F test results and corporate culture variables firm commitment variables are jointly significant effect on the social behavior of the variables in the company Fhitung> f table (4.0099> 24.031) so that Ha is accepted. The employees have a shared commitment to the work culture that generates social behavior and provide a positive impact to the company. Means to establish good cooperation between employees on corporate culture has a strong commitment to continue working in the company. Suggestions are given for PT. BRI (Persero) is to further improve the social behavior of the employees in the company should have a social life by providing the best service and It should further increase the commitment of employees to achieve work satisfaction.

Abstract

Hotel is a service company that is known to the services offered. No matter how good the physical condition of a building that hotel if it is not supported by the maximum service to customers who have stayed, consumers still are not satisfied. Based on this formulation of the problem in the study was a decrease in the number of guests staying in Pati Hotel from 2009 s / d 2012. This study aims to determine the level of compatibility between the expectations of guests who stay and the performance of services provided and to determine the level of guest satisfaction Pati Hotel on the quality of services provided by Pati Hotel. This type of research is descriptive by using primary data. The data was collected by guiding question for obtaining data from the company, while to obtain data from 100 respondents using a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Furthermore, the data obtained in the field is processed in the form of tabulations that are then analyzed. Data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the calculation, the fit between expectations and performance are Pati Hotel overall implementation of 85.81% can be considered quite as expected guests. Although the dimensions of reliability as hotel employees provide friendly services to the guest judged not fit 83.74%, are easy to book a hotel room does not match rated 83.95% and ensuring security of guest luggage in the hotel room was incompatible assessed 81.95 %. The results of calculation of the level of satisfaction of hotel guests, the performance of Pati Hotel by 4.13% to 4.81% guest expectations. General conclusion, guests feel quite satisfied with the performance of services in Pati Hotel. Advice can be given in this study include the management Pati Hotel needs to create variation in service serves breakfast, need installation of WIFI networks in the area of Pati Hotel, attach rates existing facilities in Pati Hotel in locations easily seen by guests.
