Abstract

The prolonged Covid-19 pandemic demands online learning in all lines of education. However, the community faces economic limitations for purchasing internet packages and natural conditions with limited internet access. The learning cycle box media development activity was made to increase the attractiveness of the school-age population to return to learning. The method is carried out through observation, discussion, mentoring through learning cycle boxes, production practices and online marketing. The results achieved were an increase in the learning motivation of the school-age population, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of attendance during learning activities and the implementation of entrepreneurship strengthening activities in the Wiropati Hamlet community. The sustainability of the program is highly guaranteed, with the involvement of Sahabat Rumah Baca as the youth driving force in Wiropati Hamlet and PKK women.

Abstract

Kabupaten Magelang adalah salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki potensi pertanian yang sangat tinggi. Dengan tingkat kesuburan tanah yang sangat baik dan di dukung oleh iklim yang memadai maka usaha pertanian di Kabupaten Magelang sangat berkembang dangan baik, salah satunya adalah para petani di Kecamatan Windusari yang sebagian besar melakukan budidaya tembakau, sekarang beralih ke budidaya ubi jalar. Meskipun demikian, budidaya ubi jalar sebagai komoditas pengganti tembakau belum dapat diusahakan secara optimal. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan melakukan kerjasama dengan Kecamatan Windusari melalui Program Desa Binaan dengan tujuan mendampingi para petani untuk mengembangkan usaha agribisnis ubi jalar, sehingga komoditas ubi jalar dapat menjadi produk unggulan Kecamatan Windusari. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah metode pemberdayaan masyarakat partisipatif yaitu pendekatan dalam proses pemberdayaan dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, yang tekanannya pada keterlibatan petani dan anggota masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dapat berlangsung sesuai harapan, harapannya peserta dapat mengimplementasikan dalam pengembangan usaha budidaya agribisnis ubi jalar yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani.

Abstract

Women dominate informal sector workers, as their working hours are irregular and do not require expertise and skills based on specialized formal education. The problem faced by workers is the level of welfare and professionalism that is not optimal. There are still many who live in poverty and do not work wholeheartedly. Likely influenced by low financial literacy. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of welfare and professionalism on financial literacy. The Stratified Random Sampling method was used to determine the sample and 487 respondents were obtained. The research data obtained were then processed using multiple linear regression SPSS. The hypothesis testing method uses a significance level of 5%. The results showed that well-being has a simultaneous effect on financial literacy. Professionalism simultaneously affects financial literacy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and fintech on business continuity in the City and District of Magelang. This type of research is quantitative research with the survey method. Sampling used purposive sampling, with a total sample of 450 SMEs in the city and district of Magelang. The analysis tool is in the form of multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the sustainability of SMEs; 2). Financial inclusion affects the sustainability of SMEs; 3) Fintech has no effect on the sustainability of SMEs. These findings add to the literature and present implications for stakeholders to initiate programs that support the sustainability of SMEs' businesses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, inklusi keuangan, dan fintech terhadap keberlangsungan usaha di Kota dan Kabupaten Magelang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 450 UMKM di Kota dan Kabupaten Magelang. Alat analisis berupa regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlangsungan usaha UMKM, 2). Inklusi keuangan berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan usaha UMKM; 3). Fintech tidak berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan usaha. Temuan ini menambah literatur dan menghadirkan implikasi bagi para stakeholder untuk menginisiasi program yang mendukung keberlangsungan bisnis UMKM.

Abstract

The development of the learning cycle box media is a dissemination of science and technology for the Wiropati hamlet community who are experiencing problems in the learning process at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning cycle box media development activities are made to increase the attractiveness of school-age children to return to learning. This activity is in the form of mentoring learning cycle box media for elementary age children in collaboration with Sahabat Rumah Baca. The method is carried out through production practices and mentoring in the application of the learning cycle box. The results achieved were an increase in the learning motivation of the school-age children, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of attendance during learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether individual personality, locus of control, and self-effecacy affect the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises in the food industry sector in Magelang City. This research method uses descriptive quantitative. Data processing was tested using multiple linear regression test. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 88 respondents. The results of this study indicate that individual personality, locus of control, and self-effecacy simultaneously have a positive effect on micro, small and medium enterprises, individual personality partially has a positive effect on micro, small, and medium enterprises, locus of control partially has no effect on micro, small, and medium enterprises, and self-effecacy partially has poritive effect on mocro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

Sekolah Tani Mandiri Muhammadiyah merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan Muhammadiyah Tobacco Control Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang untuk membantu para petani tembakau dalam rangka mengurangi ketergantungan pada industri rokok. Selain itu, tujuan kegiatan untuk menarik minat masyarakat terutama para pemuda untuk berkiprah dan mengembangkan bidang pertanian, mengingat negara Indonesia merupakan negara agraris. Penyelenggaraan Sekolah Tani Mandiri Muhammadiyah pada saat ini sudah memasuki periode yang kedua. Guna keberlanjutan sekolah tani tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi. Metode untuk melakukan evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan dan uji kompetensi. Peserta Sekolah Tani Mandiri Muhammadiyah periode satu dan dua yang semuanya berdomisili di Kabupaten Magelang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan terlaksana dengan baik dengan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam mengikuti Sekolah Tani Mandiri Muhammadiyah cukup tinggi yang ditunjukkan oleh jumlah kehadiran dan keaktifan selama pelaksanaan kegiatan

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of informal work and social capital on welfare mediated by the labor market. The cluster random sampling method was used to determine the sample, and 750 respondents were obtained. Research data was processed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The results show that informal workers and social capital have a simultaneous effect on well-being, while informal work is not proven to have an effect. Social capital is proven to have a positive effect on the labor market, and the labor market has a positive effect on welfare. The results of the indirect effect prove that informal work has a negative effect on well-being, while social capital has a positive effect on well-being.

Abstract

Legalitas usaha merupakan aspek penting yang menjadi dasar keberlanjutan dan pengembangan usaha mikro, terutama di sektor industri rumah tangga (IRT-UM). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelaku IRT-UM dalam mengurus legalitas usaha, seperti sertifikasi halal, izin PIRT (Pangan Industri Rumah Tangga), dan pendaftaran merek dagang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh tim dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (UNIMMA), bekerja sama dengan beberapa mitra usaha di wilayah Magelang, yaitu Salsa Catering & Snack, Rindu Snack, dan Rizquna Snack. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan intensif untuk memastikan setiap mitra memahami prosedur legalitas dan berhasil menyelesaikan proses administrasi yang diperlukan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra terhadap pentingnya legalitas usaha serta keberhasilan beberapa mitra dalam mendapatkan sertifikasi yang relevan. Selain itu, program ini membantu memperkuat daya saing produk mitra di pasar lokal maupun nasional. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini tidak hanya mendorong peningkatan kualitas produk, tetapi juga membuka peluang yang lebih besar untuk ekspansi pasar. Kesimpulannya, program pendampingan legalitas usaha memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam mendukung keberlanjutan dan profesionalisme pelaku IRT-UM.

Abstract

This study aims to investigates the influence of Open Innovation (OI), Customer-Centricity (CC), and Competitive Orientation (CO) on organizational resilience among creative industry and tourism-related MSMEs in Magelang, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with survey data from 161 respondents, the analysis, conducted via multiple linear regression, shows that OI and CO significantly enhance resilience, while CC does not have a statistically significant effect. Grounded in Organizational Resilience Theory, the study emphasizes that resilience is strategically developed through innovation and market adaptability. The findings contribute to resilience theory and provide practical insights for strengthening resilience in the creative and tourism sectors.
