Abstract

The need for digital data security is to ensure that the data and information we have are confidential and can only be accessed by authorized users. And no one can change the information in it, thus ensuring complete accuracy. The functions of data security are confidentiality, authentication, integrity, and anti-repudiation. Compression techniques are used to protect digital data because they aim to make less storage space and allow us to transfer more data over the internet. This study aims to plan to prove the application of a combination of 2 (two) techniques, namely compression and cryptography to digital data with the aim of increasing the security of the data. This research has the result that the compression technique of the Huffman method is the most effective in compressing digital data into the smallest file size compared to other compression methods. It can compressed the data size by around 30% (thirty percent) to 40% (forty percent) compared to the original data size. And coupled with data security with cryptographic encryption techniques so that files remain safe when transferred over the network.

Abstract

Agriculture is an important foundation of the national economy, as effective development in this sector will support overall economic stability. Potato itself is one of the world's staple foods after rice, wheat and corn. This crop belongs to the category of horticulture which is widely planted and developed by people to meet their needs. On the farm of Bibit sida kangen Kalibening, Banjarnegara which is one of the farms that grow potatoes has constraints related to potato diseases which result in decreased productivity of crops. Therefore, the main purpose of this system is to provide fast and accurate disease detection capability on the farm of Bibit sida kangen Kalibening, Banjarnegara, so that it can help farmers in reducing losses caused by disease attacks on plants. By utilizing YOU ONLY LOOK ONCE V8 (YOLOv8) technology, this system can recognize and classify potato leaf disease types, including early_blight, late_blight, and healthy plants, with a high level of accuracy. Through evaluation using precision and recall matrices, the results show a significant success rate, with precision accuracy for early_blight of 87%, healthy plants of 81%, and late_blight of 97%, respectively. Meanwhile, the recall results for the three categories also reached 87%, 81%, and 97% respectively. With an overall accuracy of 88%, these findings confirm that the developed detection system is successful in identifying potato leaf diseases with high accuracy. This indicates the great potential of this system in assisting farmers in managing the condition of their potato crops, which in turn can improve farmers' productivity and welfare.

Abstract

The main problem of providing internet services for provider companies, especially WiCo GraPARI Telkom Purwokerto in responding to the needs and challenges of technological digitalization. This research aims to analyze the Quality of Service (QoS) of WiCo GraPARI Telkom Purwokerto network using TIPHON standard. The TIPHON standard is a series of standards developed by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) in order to support the interoperability of Internet Protocol (IP) based telecommunications services. Testing of throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter parameters was carried out using the Wireshark application. Testing quality of service parameters is done through four scenarios in quiet and crowded internet network conditions for the process of downloading and uploading videos from Google Drive. The results show that the overall network performance falls into the "Very Good" category with an index of 4 for throughput, delay, and packet loss, and the "Good" category with an index of 3 for jitter. The highest throughput was recorded at 23.687564 bps, the lowest delay was 0.386 ms, with no packet loss in all scenarios, and the lowest jitter was 0.386 ms. Thus, it can be concluded that the WiCo GraPARI Telkom Purwokerto internet network has met the expected TIPHON quality standards. Suggestions for future research to be able to include the expansion of studies in various other WiCo GraPARI locations to get a more comprehensive picture as well as the use of other testing methods and tools for more varied and in-depth results.
