Abstract

This study explores the fatwa of Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari in the book Sabilal Muhtadin regarding the permissibility of eating haliling (field snails) and the prohibition of eating anak wanyi (bee larvae) with a focus on the health perspective. Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari stated that snails are halal food, while bee larvae are considered haram. This study uses a literature study method to analyze the legal basis and health implications of both types of food. The results of the study indicate that snails can be safely consumed if processed properly, because snails are rich in protein and nutrients, but require special attention in processing to avoid the risk of infection from parasites or bacteria. Conversely, consuming bee larvae can pose health risks such as allergic reactions and dangerous toxins, and can have a negative impact on the bee population and ecosystem. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of understanding fatwas from a health and ethical perspective, as well as the need for education regarding food processing practices that are in accordance with sharia principles and modern health standards.

Abstract

A few centuries after the demise of the Qur'an, the scholars formulated language, usub and literature in order to study and deepen the content of the Qur'an, which gave rise to many scientific disciplines, among others in the field of language studies, nahwu and sorof , related to the style of language and literature was born balaghoh discipline with branches of study, ma'ani, bayan and badi '. In Badi Science, iqtibas is defined as follows "The speaker saves his prose or poem with something from the Qur'an or Hadith in a way that does not signal that something comes from both." Qaidah The science of Badi allows mutakallim (speaker) to change a little on the word taken from the Qur'an or Hadith, that is due to the adjustment of wazan or other causes. Iqtibas with the text of the Qur'an and sunna is not prohibited and forbidden in absolute terms, it is permissible but must be with caution.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to foster the religious character of the community in Timbang Langkat Village through an Islamic literacy program. This program is implemented as a form of contribution from the Real Work Lecture (KKN) students in strengthening religious values in the community by increasing interest in reading, understanding, and practicing Islamic teachings contextually. The activity method is carried out with an approach implemented through counseling, religious studies, group discussions, and relevant, good and correct worship guidance according to the sunnah. The results of the implementation of the activity show a sense of enthusiasm from the community in participating in the literacy activities carried out, as well as the emergence of positive changes in the religious nature and behavior of children and the surrounding community, such as increased awareness of worship, social concern, and enthusiasm for learning worship such as prayer and tilawah. In addition, this activity also fosters a sense of togetherness between students and the community in building an environment with an Islamic character. The continued impact of this activity is seen from the formation of small study groups that independently continue Islamic literacy activities after the program ends. Thus, this Islamic literacy-based community service has proven effective as a means of developing sustainable religious character in the community, while strengthening the synergy between the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra and the Timbang Langkat Village community in developing local potential based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Previously known as Alalak's hometown, it is now divided into two villages, namely South Alalak village and North Alalak village, located in North Banjarmasin District from 1970 to 2000. This area was famous as a center for the wood processing industry for building materials, but is now starting to be abandoned. dim because wood is also rare. Wooden materials were replaced with concrete beams, steel and metal rafters. Alalak Village looks very shabby, the houses are built mostly from irregular wood. However, there is something interesting in the Alalak River village which is visited by every local/regional, national and international holiday tourist. They wanted to witness the Floating Market activity as a rare custom in the form of buying and selling activities where sellers and buyers use boats or in the banjo term called catamarans. This empty village needs to be managed by building a riverside buffer area in the form of a long embankment with a width of 8.0 meters to 12.0 meters. The embankment material is planted with trees according to its purpose as protection from wind, waves and sunlight. The length of the embankment as a Buffer Zone for this building was built in stages in accordance with the budget set by the Banjarmasin City River and Drainage Department . Thinking about the need to organize dense residential and slum areas on the banks of this river from literature, videos about Buffer Zones in earthquake and tsunami prone areas in Japan which implement these zones as places of effort to withstand very large tsunami waves.

Abstract

Web Usage Mining (WUM) is the use of data mining methods to extract knowledge from web usage data. One function of WUM is to support Business Intelligence (BI) purpose in which one of the important information needed is the classification of web users that can be used for acquisition, penetration, and user retention activity. There are two main problems encountered in conducting the classification of web users. The first is the determination of antecedent attributes as a term of classification rules, which is a major problem in data mining classification function in general. The second problem is the preprocessing activity which involves preparing the supporting data for the web users’ classification need which is the most difficult stage in WUM. For the web user classification method, we propose a classification method based on ant colony optimization method (ACO) as a distributed intelligent system using heuristic function which is in line with the problem areas. We proposed a heuristic functions for web user classification based on web usage data that uses entropy of antecedent candidate, information gain from attribute of total number of web user access  and average of access duration of web user.  For preprocessing purpose, a method of data preparation that can support the needs of web users’ classification is proposed. The data used consists of web access log data, web user profile data and web transaction data. The preprocessing activity consists of parsing, data cleansing, and extraction of the web user sessions using heuristic method concerning web page access timeout and differences in web browser agent. Testing is done by comparing the performance of the proposed algorithm with Ant-Miner algorithm, cAnt-Miner algorithm, and the Continuous Ant-Miner algorithm. The results of testing of four web data shows that the performance of the proposed algorithm is better in terms of accuracy of rules and simplification of rules.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of errors made by female students in solving mathematical story problems on the topic of relations using Polya’s problem-solving stages. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved 30 eighth-grade students from SMP Al-Faruqi. Data were collected through written tests and interviews, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that errors occurred in all stages of Polya’s framework, with 50% of students making errors in understanding the problem (moderate category), 47.7% in planning (moderate), 63.3% in implementing the plan (high), and 26.7% in rechecking (low). The most frequent error was found in the implementation stage, indicating that while students could generally comprehend and plan problem solutions, they often faced difficulties in accurately executing those plans. This suggests that female students still need to strengthen their procedural understanding and problem-solving execution skills to improve overall mathematical performance, particularly in applying strategies effectively and verifying their solutions.
