Abstract

This research focuses on students who show less involvement and seriousness in learning. This research emphasizes the importance of using effective lesson opening and closing techniques during the learning process to increase student participation and achieve learning goals. This research aims to analyze the impact of teachers' skills in opening and closing PAI lessons on student engagement, using qualitative methods such as observation, interviews and document analysis to ensure the credibility of the data. teachers have used lesson opening and closing skills to increase student engagement, although not all of these skills are used optimally. There are several indicators, such as student interaction and use of tools, that are not commonly used by teachers. As a result, the skills for opening and closing PAI lessons have been implemented but not fully maximized by teachers. Despite this, students have shown a high level of engagement in learning, which indicates that the better the teacher's skills, the more engaged the students will be.

Abstract

The Islamization of South Sulawesi, particularly in the Bugis-Makassar hinterland, represents a significant shift in Indonesia's religious and socio-political history. This article highlights the migration of Islamic scholars from West Sumatra to key kingdoms in the region, which contributed to the formation of new Islamic landscapes that were previously recognized only in localized contexts. The integration of Islamic teachings into local governance systems, particularly through Pangngaderreng, succeeded in establishing Islam not only as a religion but also as a foundation for state legislation. This paper examines the da’wah strategies employed by Datuk Tellue, including (1) da’wah bi al-Hal, (2) da’wah bi al-Lisan, and (3) da’wah bi al-Aqd, and their impact on cultural and political dynamics in South Sulawesi. The study reveals how Islam was interwoven with local traditions and governance structures to shape a unique Islamic identity in the region. Furthermore, the establishment of Islamic educational institutions and councils such as Parewa Sara played a critical role in ensuring the continued influence of Islam in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students understanding of concepts through the use of interactive media in various Mathematics lessons in class II SDN Model Terpadu Madani. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were 25 class II students. Data was collected through observation and tests, then analyzed descriptively. The research was conducted in two cycles and began with a pre-cycle stage where students were given a pre-test to determine their initial abilities. Interactive media in the form of animated videos, interactive quizzes, and number bags are applied in cycles I and II. The results of the research show that by using interactive media in Mathematics learning there is a significant increase in the level of complete understanding of students concepts, namely from 40% in the pre-cycle stage, increasing to 72% in cycle I, and reaching 88% in cycle II. Interactive media has proven to be effective in increasing understanding of concepts, especially in place value and summation. Based on these results, the use of interactive media can be considered as an innovative learning strategy to help students understand mathematical concepts more effectively.

Abstract

This research explores the critical role of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) in guiding and regulating the social interactions of contemporary adolescents. Drawing on historical narratives in the Islamic tradition and emphasizing the importance of Fiqh in addressing challenges such as juvenile delinquency, the research underscores the need for practical application of Fiqh principles in everyday life. It argues that Fiqh education, which goes beyond theoretical understanding, entails the practical implementation of acquired knowledge, integrating theory and action. This study uses the literature research method, reviewing relevant literature to analyze the concept of adolescent social interaction from an Islamic fiqh perspective. The findings indicate a mismatch between Islamic values and current teenage trends, including changes in dressing styles, an increase in premarital relationships, drug abuse, and materialistic pursuits. The paper suggests the need for guidance from adolescents and parents to bridge the gap between Islamic principles and contemporary trends, emphasizing the importance of fiqh education in adolescence as a basis for navigating life in accordance with Islamic values.
