This article reported risk preferences and the consequences on tobacco farming in Pamekasan.  Frontier production function model with heteroskedastic error structure estimated by maximume likelihood estimation developed by Kumbhakar  was adopted to  analyze the goals.  This model can capture the effect of risk preference on input allocation, inefficiency and productivity.  Four hundred fifty samples were drawn by cluster sampling method.  The results show that risk preferences were not depended Elys Fauziyah; Sri Hartoyo; Nunung Kusnadi; Sri Utami Kuntjoro

Abstract

This article reported risk preferences and the consequences on tobacco farming in Pamekasan.  Frontier production function model with heteroskedastic error structure estimated by maximume likelihood estimation developed by Kumbhakar  was adopted to  analyze the goals.  This model can capture the effect of risk preference on input allocation, inefficiency and productivity.  Four hundred fifty samples were drawn by cluster sampling method.  The results show that risk preferences were not depended on agroecosystem and farming system, but they were determined by farm size.  Most of the farmers prefered to avoid production risk.  The consequences were input allocation under optimum condition, technical and allocative efficiencies at a low level, and depleted productivity.   Key words: productivity, production risk, risk preference, inefficiency

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimsto describethe characteristics ofconsumers who buy imported apples and analyze the attributes of consumer preferences in buying importedapples.The study was conductedatthe Hokky fruitshopand the Ampel traditional marketing Surabaya. Data analysis was done with descriptive and conjoint methods. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini  adalah mengidentifikasi proses keputusan pembelian  dan menganalisis atribut yang dipertimbangkan oleh konsumen dalam pembelian mi instan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Sampel diambil  dengan metode Cluster Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan metode diskriptif kualitatif dan konjoin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses keputusan pembelian mi terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu pengenalan kebutuhan, pencarian informasi, evaluasi alternatif, proses pembelian, dan perilaku pasca pembelian. Sedangkan kombinasi atribut yang diinginkan oleh konsumen dalam pembelian mi instan secara berurutan adalah kemasan plastik, harga Rp. 1.750, bentuk  bulat, bentuk kemasan kotak, rasa gurih, berukuran  100 gr, dan berwarna kuning. ABSTRACTThe Goals of this research are to identify the process of purchasing decision and analyze the attribute which is considered by consumer in purchasing instant noodle. The Samples are taken with cluster sampling method. The data are analyzed with the qualitative descriptive and conjoint methods. The result shows that the process of noodle purchasing decision consists  several stage. They are the need introduction, the information seach,  the purchasing process, and the behavior after purchasing. While the attribute combination which is wanted by consumer in instant noodle purchasing are the plastic packaging, the price approximately Rp. 1,750, the rounded shape, the square packaging shape, the savory flavor, the size approximately 100 gram, and the yellow color.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to identify the internal and external environment of agro-shrimp crackers and formulate strategies to develop these agro-industry inPlosobuden Village, Deket District, Lamongan Regency.The basic method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and carried out with a case study. The analysis used was the marketing environment analysis, the SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors forthestrengths, weaknesses, opportunitiesandthreats, the IFE and EFE Matrix and the SWOT matrix to formulate an alternative strategy in business development. Based on research result shows that the main internal strengths which is owned by agro-shrimp crackers entrepreneur is selling at an affordable price. While its main weaknesses is the lack of promotion. The main opportunities in the agro-shrimp cracker development is still has an extensive market share. While the main threats is unfavorable weather in the shrimp cracker business. Alternative strategies can be applied in developing agro-industry is raising the shrimp crackers production to take the opportunities of technological advancement for food security standards, promoting to attract potential customers in anticipating the new competitors to improve the image of the product, making business licenses and increasing the products diversification through products and services policy dealing with new competitors.Key words: Agro-shrimp crackers, SWOT analysis, development strategy

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi teknis, efisiensi alokatif, efisiensi ekonomis usahatani jagung hibrida dan sumber inefisiensinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Tanah Merah Kecamatan Saronggih Kabupaten Sumenep. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik insidential sampling. Data selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan fungsi produksi stochastic frontier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata petani belum efisien secara teknis, alokatif dan ekonomi. Sementara penyebab inefisiensi teknis disebabkan pendidikan dan pengalaman.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study were to analyze the technical efficiency, allocative, economic hybrid corn farm and sources of inefficiency. The study was conducted in Tana Merah Village, Saronggih Subdistrict, in Sumenep Regency. The incidental sampling technique was used to determined sample. Data were analyzed using the stochastic frontier production function. The results showed that the average farmer is not efficient yet on technically, allocative and economic. while the cause of technical inefficiency were education and experience.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAtribut sebuah produk dapat menjadi pertimbangan konsumen dalam membeli sebuah produk. Preferensi konsumen dalam membeli rengginang lorjuk dipengaruhi oleh beberapa atribut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan karakteristik konsumen dan menganalisis atribut-atribut yang menjadi pertimbangan konsumen dalam membeli rengginang lorjuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah Kamal. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode accidental sampling sedangkan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskripitif kualitatif dan konjoin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atribut yang paling dipertimbangkan konsumen dalam membeli rengginang lorjuk adalah bentuk, harga, berat isi kemasan, jenis dan kemasan. ABSTRACTAttribute of product can be used as consideration of consumer in buying product. Consumer preference in buying rengginang lorjuk is affected by several attributes. Objective of this research is to describe characteristic of consumer and to analyze attributes being considered by consumer in buying rengginang lorjuk. This research was conducted in Kamal. Sample was taken by using method of accidental sampling meanwhile method of data analysis used descriptive qualitative and conjoint. Result of research showed that attributes that most considered by consumer in buying rengginang lorjuk is weight, price, volume, type and packaging.

Abstract

Pembelian makanan instan secara online meningkat pada masa pandemi Corana Virus (Covid) 19.  Transaksi secara online memiliki banyak risiko. Persepsi risiko konsumen dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembeliannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi risiko pembelian online pada makanan instan dan menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi risiko dengan keputusan pembeliannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode diskriptif dan uji korelasi Kendall’s tau-b, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa sebagian besar responden mempersepsikan pembelian makanan instan online memiliki risiko fungsional, fisik, waktu, dan sosial. Selanjutnya terdapat hubungan yang sangat lemah antara persepsi risiko konsumen dengan keputusan pembelian makanan instan secara online. Kata kunci: Persepsi Risiko, Keputusan Pembelian Online, Makanan Instan

Abstract

Budidaya ikan lele di Kabupaten Bangkalan dikelompokkan dalam 2 kategori yaitu Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan Lele Super Madura (Pokdakan LSM) dan Pokdakan Mitra Lele Barokah (MLB). Kedua Pokdakan tersebut berbeda dalam hal penggunaan sumber pakan ikan lele. Pokdakan LSM mengikuti Program Gerakan Pakan Mandiri (GERPARI) yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP), sedangkan pokdakan MLB tidak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak program GERPARI terhadap kelayakan finansial usaha dan risikonya. Analisis dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan kedua indikator tersebut pada pokdakan LSM dan MLB. Metode analisis yang dipergunakan adalah R/C rasio dan Expert Opinion Aproximation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pokdakan LSM secara finansial lebih layak dibandingkan dengan pokdakan  MLB. Tingkat risiko produksi, finansial, dan sumber daya manusia pada pokdakan LSM lebih rendah dibandingkan pada pokdakan MLB. Kondisi ini menggambarkan bahwa Program Gerakan Pakan Mandiri memberikan dampak pada pendapatan yang lebih tinggi dan tingkat risiko yang lebih rendah.
