Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze: channels and marketingmargins of TBS as well as palm oil prices received by Swadaya Farmers; thecorrelation or relationship between the price of oil palm paid PKS with the pricereceived by swadaya farmers and the effect of price (price transmission elasticity)from oil palm at PKS with the price recevied by swadaya farmers at sari galuhvillage, tapung district, kampar subdistrict. This research was conducted from March2012 to August 2012. The method that the reasearch used was survey method. Thesample take used by purposive sampling. The sampling of the reaserch was 42swadaya farmers with the age of palm trees between 8-12 years, whereas fortraders and pks used by method snowball sampling by following marketing chanel.The results of this research show only one market by channel from swadaya farmerstbs, from farmer to traders than to PKS and marketing margins used the periodictime series data from January to December 2011 Rp. 223,12. The price thatreceived by farmer is 85,05%. The correlation value of the price from swadayafarmers with the price PKS was 0,983. The value of the elasticity of pricetransmission between the price received from swadaya farmers and the price of oilpalm by PKS was 0,085.Keywords: Marketing channels, margins, price transmission, swadaya farmers.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1). Know the function, channel and marketing agencies onion. 2). Analyze costs, margins, profibality, efficiency and the share of the farmer. This study usues survey, sampling was done by purposive sampling of 30 samples onion farmers at Sungai Geringging Kampar Kiri districk in Kampar regency. Taking sample of trader used snowball sampling by following marketing channel. The outcome of this research indicated the function-function of onion marketing at Sungai Geringging such as buy function, sale function, clean function, storage function, transportation function, standardization function, risk tackling function, market information function and financial capital function. The most efficient channel is channel 1, starting from farmer – trader of collector – trade of retailer – consumen. Total cost of marketing collector is Rp 416,67/kg and trade of retailers is Rp 153,02/kg. Marketing margins is Rp 3.166,67/kg, total profit is Rp 2.596,98/kg, the efficiency is 2,46% and the share of the farmer is 86,33%.Keywords: Marketing, function, channel, margins, efficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the factors of supply palm oil in Provinceof Riau and the effects of fluctuate its factors of supply palm oil. This research did inPekanbaru on January 2008 until September 2008 to analyze about Riau’sproblems. Research method is the study of literatures in secondary data 1987-2006analyzed by SAS 6.12 programme and WinQSB software. The factors of supplypalm oil in Province of Riau are real price of CPO, real price of urea, wide of palm oilplantations, productivities of palm oil.This research get F value =2.283,68 in probability α=1%, R-square 0,9984 to showthat correlation independent between dependent are strong, Adj R-square 0,9979 toshow that 99,79 % independent explanated by dependent. But, 0,22 % explanatedby other factors that not included. Real price of CPO, wide of palm oil plantationsand productivities palm oil show positive’s effect relevan with eaches estimated on2,10 (probability α=16 %), 3,46 (probability α=1%), and 223.471 (probability α=1%).Real price of urea shows negative’s effect relevan with estimated on -52,62(probability α=1%). The result forecasting analysis with SEST (Single EksponensialSmoothing With Trend Linier) with estimation, in 2011 real price of CPO is Rp.62.103,24/ton, real price of urea is Rp. 41.355,78/ton and wide of palm oilplantations is 1.758.169,00 ha.

Abstract

This research used descriptive analysis, cost and income analysis, business efficiency (RCR) analysis, and added value analysis with Hayami method. The result showed that pineapple chips and jackfruit chips agroindustrial business already profitable. An average of 12 businessman ear net income of pineapple chips and jackfruit chips each of Rp. 8.350.062,26 per month and Rp. 1.243.240,79 per month. The processing efficiency of pineapple and jackfruit into pineapple chips and jackfruit chips each of 1,37 dan 1,85. The added value for pineapple processing into pineapple chips is Rp. 2.389,30 with ratio of added value to production equal to 42,79% and added value for jackfruit processing into jackfruit chips is Rp. 15.575,51 with ratio of added value to production equal to 71,61%.

Abstract

Palm oil is potential to improve Indonesian economic, especially in Riau province because of land and climate suitability and the increasing demand of CPO. The purpose of this research was to find out the factors of palm oil supply in Riau Province and the effects of fluctuation of the factors. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru from Januari to September 2008. Research method was literature study using secondary data (1987-2006) which was analyzed by SAS 6.12 program. The factors of palm oil supply in Riau Province is the real price of CPO, real price of urea, palm oil plantation area, and productivity of palm oil. This research got F value of 2.283,68 for probability a=1%, R-square 0,9979 which show that the correlation between independent and dependent variable is strong. Adj R square of 0,9979 show that 99,79% of independent variable is explained by dependent variable but 0,21% is explained by other factors which are not included. Real price of CPO, palm oil plantation area and productivity of palm oil oil shows positive correlation effect with estimation of 2,10 (probability a=16%), 3,46 (probability a=1%), and 223.471 (probability a=1%). The real price of urea shows negative correlation effect with estimation of -52,62 (probability a=1%).

Abstract

This study was aims to determine the agribusiness taro in Darussalam Village District Sinaboi Rokan Hilir Regency. This research was conducted in Darussalam Village, Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency by using survey method. The technique of taking respondents is done by purposive sampling. The results showed that the total production cost of taro farming in one season in Darussalam village was Rp 9.431.770/ha. Average taro yield of 7.052 Kg/ha/MT resulted in net income or farming profit of taro average Rp 13.134.630, -/ha/MT. These results indicate that taro farm in Darussalam Village is efficient and feasible to be continued as indicated by Return Cost Ratio (RCR)> 1 (2.41). Farmers harvest handling is only collecting, sorting and transporting activities whereas the transportation is not done by farmers. The marketing channel of taro in Darussalam village there is only one marketing channel that is from farmer to tauke. Supportive institutional subsystems are farmer group institutions, capital lending institutions, agricultural extension agencies, and government agencies, but not all of them have worked well.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know the cost, production, income, and break event pointvalue of sugarcane juice buisness in Tampan district Pekanbaru City. Sampling method usedwas purposive sampling method based on citeria of business period, type of drink, type of work,and tools used. Data collection was conducted by observation, interview and documentation.Data analysis techniques used to calculate the income and efficiency level of the juice businessusing R/C Ratio analysis. Research results obtained total cost, income, profit and break eventpoint business of sugarcane juice business. Total production cost of sugarcane juice business isIDR 43,382,718 per month with average production cost of IDR 2,160,726 per month. Totalbusiness income is IDR 22,369,349 per month with average income of each respondent of IDR1,118,467 per month. R/C Ratio Value of sugarcane juice business is 1.51 therefore the businessis feasible to continue. The value of break event points of business in the number of cups is 341while the value of break event points of business in IDR is 1,704,617.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze consumer attitudes toward Nescafe canned drink in the scope of Pasar Bawah and the surrounding area. This research was conducted from May to June 2018 using survey and questionnaire method to 30 respondents. Respondents are people who buy Nescafe canned drink. There are 27 male and 3 female based on gender. Data of customers attitude was analyzed using “multidimensional scaling” in SPSS application. The research found that costomers preferred Nescafe Latte than other flavor canned drink

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the marketing of Siamese citrus in Kuok Village based on market performance. The location of research is determined purposively, that is the village which become the center of citrus production. Method of sampling the farmers was conducted by simple random sampling. Determination of sample marketing agency used snowball sampling method by following the marketing channel. Analysis of data included marketing cost analysis, marketing margin, marketing advantage, marketing efficiency, farmer's share and profit to cost ratio. The results showed that there are three marketing channels of citrus, namely the marketing channel I (farmers - collector traders – for Grade A, Grade B and Grade C), marketing channel II (farmers to retailers) and marketing channels III (farmers sell directly to end consumers). The analysis of market performance showed that the most efficient channels, based on the calculation of marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing advantages, marketing efficiency, farmer's share and profit-to-cost ratio is marketing channel II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial performance of KUD Sialang Makmur during the period 2008-2012. The results of the analysis of the financial performance obtained KUD Sialang Makmur seen from the level of liquidity by using the current ratio and quick ratio, KUD Sialang Makmur are in liquid state, means being able to meet its short term obligations because of the level of liquidity is above 100% because of the level of total current liabilities current assets. Level of solvency ratios, KUD Sialang Makmur is in a position solvable means the level of solvency in a good enough position that is 100% which means that if the KUD Sialang Makmur able to repay long-term debt, is due to the amount of assets is higher than the amount of debt. The level of activity ratio, KUD ability to obtain funds that are embedded in the assets is low to produce a number of revenue and net sales, KUD Sialang Makmur need to add capital to be invested in the assets to accelerate revenue generating assets and services net sales are also accepted by KUD Rates of return of KUD Sialang Makmur terms of economic profitability has declined, in terms of profitability of own capital gains KUD Sialang Makmur continue to increase and decline, means the net income used is higher than the net assets acquired cooperatives and use of inefficient costs issued by KUD Sialang Makmur indicated by the ratio of operating profits from the high that’s why is low.
