Abstract

The role of midwives is very important in reducing maternal and child mortality rates through continuous midwifery care from preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, to family planning, in accordance with midwifery standards that can be carried out independently, collaboratively, or through referrals. The descriptive research method and type of descriptive research used are case studies with documentation using the SOAP method. The case study was conducted on Mrs. D aged 33 years in November 2024 to March 2025 with data collection methods using observation, interviews and document studies. Midwifery care began from the third trimester pregnancy visit, the mother complained of frequent urination and difficulty sleeping at night. The efforts made were education about the discomfort she experienced was normal. Delivery was carried out spontaneously without complications at Puri Asih Hospital, Salatiga at 39 weeks of gestation. The baby's birth weight was within normal limits and no congenital abnormalities were found. Postpartum care was carried out 4 times and no gaps were found. Family Planning Services The mother chose to use 3-month injections. Continuity of Care (COC) or continuous midwifery care for Mrs. D can be carried out and is well received by the mother, husband and other family members. The mother and family feel the benefits so that the mother and family's knowledge increases.   Abstrak Peran bidan sangat penting dalam menurunkan AKI dan AKB melalui asuhan kebidanan berkesinambungan "continuity of care" dari masa prakonsepsi, kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, hingga KB, sesuai dengan standar kebidanan yang dapat dilakukan secara mandiri, kolaboratif, atau melalui rujukan.  Metode penelitian deskriptif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang digunakan adalah studi kasus (Case Study) dengan Pendokumentasian dengan metode SOAP.   Studi kasus dilakukan pada Ny. D umur 33 tahun pada bulan November 2024 sampai Maret 2025 dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Asuhan kebidanan dimulai sejak kunjungan kehamilan Trimester III, ibu mengeluhkan sering buang air kecil dan kesulitan tidur pada malam hari. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah edukasi tentang ketidaknyamanan yang dialaminya adalah hal yang normal. Persalinan dilakukan secara spontan tanpa komplikasi di RS Puri Asih Salatiga pada usia kehamilan 39 minggu. Berat lahir bayi berada dalam batas normal dan tidak ditemukan kelainan kongenital. Asuhan masa nifas dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali dan tidak ditemukan adanya kesenjangan.  Pelayanan KB Ibu memilih menggunakan KB Suntik 3 bulan.  Continuity Of Care (COC) atau asuhan kebidanan berkesinambungan pada Ny. D ini dapat dilakukan dan diterima dengan baik oleh ibu, suami dan anggota keluarga lainnya. Ibu dan keluarga merasakan manfaatnya sehingga pengetahuan ibu dan keluarga semakin bertambah.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Indonesia. Chemotherapy treatment often causes both physical and psychological side effects, which can reduce the patient's quality of life. Various factors, such as family support, economic status, education level, and knowledge, are suspected to influence the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang. This study used a non-experimental quantitative design with a correlational approach. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 84 respondents undergoing chemotherapy at the hospital. Bivariate analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test to examine the relationship between factors that are suspected to affect the quality of life of patients. The results showed that family support, economic status, education level, and knowledge level were significantly related to the quality of life of cancer patients. Specifically, the p-values obtained were 0.035 for family support, 0.000 for economic status, 0.036 for education level, and 0.049 for knowledge level. These findings indicate that social, economic, and educational factors play a crucial role in improving the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Therefore, special attention should be given to family support, knowledge enhancement, and better access to economic resources for cancer patients. As a result, their quality of life, especially during chemotherapy, can be improved. Keywords: quality of life, family support, economic status, education level, knowledge level.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berfokus pada moderasi beragama dalam konteks toleransi di Jorong Siduampan, Nagari Batahan Selatan, Kecamatan Ranah Batahan, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah menekankan pentingnya sikap moderat dalam membangun kerukunan antarumat beragama. Sikap moderat dianggap mampu menciptakan keharmonisan antara kelompok agama atau kepercayaan yang berbeda. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di Jorong Siduampan, yang mayoritas penduduknya memeluk agama Islam. Toleransi beragama dalam pengabdian ini tidak dimaknai sebagai upaya mengikuti atau bertukar keyakinan dengan agama lain, melainkan dipahami dalam konteks mu'amalah atau interaksi sosial. Dalam interaksi ini, ada batasan-batasan umum yang perlu diperhatikan, yang tidak boleh dilanggar untuk menjaga keharmonisan sosial.

Abstract

Meatballs is a processed meat product and one of Indonesia's favourite culinary delights. This study aims to determine the effect of fenugreek paste on the physical and organoleptic quality of meatballs made from chicken meat. The research was conducted in June-July 2023 at the Research and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, and Animal Production Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of No Sumatra. The design used in this study was RAL (Completely Randomised Design) with 4 treatments, namely P0 = 0%, P1 = 5%, P2 = 10%, P315%, and 5 replications. The parameters    in this study were physical quality tests, namely meatball pH and cooking loss, and organoleptic tests of color, aroma, taste, and tenderness. The results showed that 5%, 10%, 15% fenugreek paste had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on physical quality and organoleptic quality. The higher the percentage of fenugreek paste used in meatballs, the higher the physical and organoleptic quality of meatballs In conclusion of this study is that fenugreek is good to add to get quality meatballs
