Abstract

The background to this research and development is that researchers found students' difficulties and lack of interest in learning Arabic vocabulary. Apart from that, there is a lack of other media that supports learning Arabic vocabulary, while the facilities at SDN Kertorejo 2 are quite adequate. So students need interesting media, in this case in the form of image media. The creation and development of this learning media was carried out to overcome the problems faced by students at SDN Kertorejo 2. The researcher chose a design from the Canva application and then designed it attractively so that it could be accepted and liked by students so as to increase their interest in learning Arabic, especially vocabulary to improve speaking skills. Arabic. Researchers use research methods with a research and development approach. Previous researchers conducted observations and interviews with students at SDN Kertorejo 2. After obtaining the necessary data, the researchers created learning media in accordance with the students' expectations and needs and still referred to the applicable curriculum. Then the researchers applied learning media to students at SDN Kertorejo 2 who, although they still experienced several problems and obstacles, these problems could still be overcome with other facilities and equipment available at the school. In the application of image media carried out on second grade students in elementary schools, it can be concluded that the use of image media in learning Arabic vocabulary in the book "Ro'sun Sirah" to develop speaking skills is very satisfying and helps facilitate students' memorization and pronunciation of Arabic vocabulary appropriately. with basic competencies in the learning curriculum.

Abstract

Learning Arabic in elementary to tertiary educational institutions will equip students with four language skills, namely maharat al-istima’, al-kalam, al-qira’ah, and al-kitabah. Optimal skill acquisition cannot be separated from the appropriate method to be applied, because Arabic functions productively or expressively, namely to make others understand (al-ifham) through oral and written communication. Differences in learning backgrounds make students’ ability to write Arabic not yet well understood. Insya` muwajjah aims to train students’ initial stage abilities in writing Arabic. This study combines qualitative descriptive and eclectic methods. Data were collected through interviews and observations. The discussion of this article focuses on the application of Insya’ muwajjah (guide composition) in 7th Grade Students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Thoriqul Huda Mojowarno Jombang. The results of the study show that the application of guided composition strategies can improve Arabic writing skills.

Abstract

Learning speaking skills must be given to students in the initial stages of learning a second (foreign) language, including learning Arabic. Even though speaking skills occupy a very important position, researchers through interviews with Arabic language teachers in Class XI-IPS1 found that most Class This fact is also confirmed by the Arabic oral test scores which are below the minimum completion limit in the field of Arabic language studies. The results of the research show that the application of the Audio-lingual method has proven to be effective in improving the speaking skills of Class The quantitative evidence is the results of the oral tests for all students which show that all groups obtained scores in the passing range, meaning that they exceeded the minimum standard for completeness in Arabic lessons, namely 6.5, the minimum score obtained by all students was 69.2. As for the aspect of the speaking proficiency test in the form of pronunciation, a score of 79.2 was obtained, meaning that this method has a great influence on increasing proficiency and fluency in Arabic.

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of using digital learning media in Arabic language teaching in the digital era, which has fundamentally changed the educational landscape and demands significant adaptations in learning methods and media. Arabic, as a language of religious, cultural, and global significance, faces unique challenges in its learning amidst the learning style preferences of a contemporary, technology-savvy generation. The study focuses on the impact of digital media, identifying its opportunities and challenges, and reviewing successful implementations at various levels of education. The study’s findings illustrate that digital learning media not only enhance motivation and accessibility but also personalize and enrich the Arabic language learning experience. Success depends heavily on a holistic implementation strategy, including teacher competency development, equitable infrastructure provision, and relevant content design. The study confirms that digital media is not merely a complementary tool but an essential component for ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of Arabic language learning in the future.
