Abstract

The controversy about the al-Maqâshid al-Dlarûriyyah al-Khams hierarchy has an effect on the understanding of the Maqâshid al-Syarî'ah hierarchy in the MUI version of the Fiqh Pandemic, especially the fatwa on congregational and Friday prayers in mosques. In dzahir, the fatwa prioritizes hifdz al-nafs over hifdz al-dîn, while the majority of scholars are of the opinion that hifdz al-dîn occupies the highest hierarchy. This research aims to reveal a moderate understanding of the Maqâshid al-Syarî'ah hierarchy in Fiqh Pandemic from the perspective of Fiqh al-Awlawiyyât. This research is qualitative by using Istiqrâ̕, Muqâranah and Tawtsîqî methods. The results of this study are: first, the al-Tarjîh rule used by the theocentric group allows for a middle way to bring together views between theocentric and anthropocentric groups in determining the Maqâshid al-Syarî'ah hierarchy; second, Fiqh al-Awlawiyyât is a comprehensive instrument to determine the Maqâshid al-Syarî'ah hierarchy in Pandemic Fiqh, because it accommodates the rules of al-Tarjîh, Fiqh al-Muwâzanah and Fiqh al-Taisîr wa Raf' al-Haraj, even in harmony with Fiqh al-̒Adzâr through Qiyâs Awlawî; third, Fiqh al-Awlawiyyât becomes a middle ground for the controversy between theocentric and anthropocentric groups in the context of the Maqâshid al-Syarîʻah hierarchy. In conclusion, the Maqâshid al-Syarî'ah hierarchy in Pandemic Fiqh with the priority of hifdz al-nafs over hifdz al-dîn is set moderately by using Fiqh al-Awlawiyyât.Kontroversi tentang hirarki al-maqāshid al-dlarūriyyah al-khams berpengaruh pada pemahaman hirarki Maqāshid al-Syarī’ah dalam Fikih Pandemi versi MUI, khususnya fatwa tentang shalat Jama’ah dan Jum'at di masjid. Secara dzahir, fatwa tersebut mendahulukan hifdz al-nafs atas hifdz al-dīn, sedangkan Jumhūr ulama ber­pendapat bahwa hifdz al-dīn menempati hirarki tertinggi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meng­ungkap pemahaman moderat tentang hirarki Maqāshid al-Syarī’ah dalam Fikih Pandemi perspektif Fiqh al-Awlawiyyāt. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode Istiqrâ̕, Muqāranah dan Tawtsīqī. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: pertama, kaidah al-Tarjīh yang digunakan kelompok teosentris memungkinkan adanya jalan tengah mempertemukan pandangan antara kelompok teosentris dan antropo­sen­tris dalam penentuan hirarki maqāshid al-syarī’ah; kedua, Fiqh al-Awlawiyyāt merupakan instrumen komprehensif untuk menentukan hirarki Maqāshid al-Syarī’ah dalam Fikih Pandemi, karena ia mengakomodir kaidah al-Tarjīh, Fiqh al-Muwāzanah dan Fiqh al-Taisīr wa Raf' al-Haraj, bahkan selaras dengan Fiqh al-A’dzār melalui Qiyās Awlawī; ketiga, Fiqh al-Awlawiyyāt menjadi jalan tengah bagi kontroversi antara kelompok teosentris dan antroposentris dalam konteks hirarki Maqāshid al-Syarīʻah. Kesimpulannya, hirarki Maqāshid al-Syarī’ah dalam Fikih Pandemi dengan prioritas hifdz al-nafs daripada hifdz al-dīn ditetapkan secara moderat dengan menggunakan Fiqh al-Awlawiyyāt.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai Konstruksi Dasar Prototipe Elektroda Luas Permukaan Efektif untuk Meningkatkan Produksi Energi Listrik dari Air Lindi Menggunakan Teknologi Microbial Fuel Cell. Modifikasi elektroda dilakukan terhadap elektroda anoda yang terpapar langsung ke substrat (air lindi). Sebagai pembanding juga disiapkan anoda berbentuk pelat. Masing-masing diterapkan pada sel microbial fuel cell (MFC) membentuk dua varian MFC, MFC elektroda GL-GL (anoda pelat) dan MFC elektroda LPE-GL (anoda termodifikasi). Dari hasil pengukuran memperlihatkan kenaikan nilai tegangan listrik pada MFC elektroda LPE-GL lebih fluktuatif dibandingkan dengan MFC elektroda GL-GL. Selain itu MFC elektroda LPE-GL beberapa kali mencapai nilai tegangan maksimum yang lebih tinggi dari MFC elektroda GL-GL. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa elektroda anoda termodifikasi berpotensi untuk diteliti bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa kebijakan pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Demak dalam menciptakan iklim investasi yang berbasis nilai keadilan Islam. Kemiskinan bisa diatasi dengan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, penanaman modal atau investasi adalah salah satu cara membuka lapangan pekerjaan yang secara otomatis mengurangi angka kemiskinan, sejauh manakah peran Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Demak dalam mendukung investasi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalahbagaimanaKebijakan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Demak dalam menciptakan iklim investasi yang berbasis nilai keadilan islam suatu kajian peraturan Bupati Demak nomor 27 tahun 2013dan bagaimana problematika atas kebijakan peraturan Bupati Demak nomor 27 tahun 2013. Metode yang diguakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan spesifikasi penelitian yuridis sosiologis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Demak dalam menciptakan iklim investasi yang berbasis nilai keadilan islam. Abstract

Kampas rem menjadi komponen penting dalam keamanan berkendara. Kampas rem harus memiliki karakteristik ulet, tahan aus, dan keras untuk menciptakan gaya gesek yang optimal. Dipasaran bahan kampas rem banyak dijumpai menggunakan bahan penguat asbestos yang tidak ramah lingkungan dan sangat membahayakan pengguna, oleh karena itu banyak produk kampas rem beralih ke bahan non asbestos yang terbuat dari serat sintetis. Dalam perkembangannya serat sintetis pada kampas rem dapat menimbulkan polutan, sehingga muncul biokomposit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik dan nilai optimum dari biokomposit serat kelapa dan serbuk kulit singkong terhadap ikatan matriks dan kekerasan kampas rem. Metode pembuatan biokomposit menggunakan hand lay up yang dikompaksi beban 20 MPa selama 12 jam dengan variasi komposisi serat kelapa, serbuk kulit singkong, dan matriks polyester sebesar 20:10:70, 30:10:60, 40:10:50, 50:10:40. Untuk mengetahui nilai kekerasan dilakukan uji kekerasan metode Vickers. Hasil uji kekerasan tertinggi pada variasi SK20KS10M70 sebesar 10,08 kgf/mm2 dan terendah pada variasi SK50KS10M40 sebesar 9,88 kgf/mm2. Sedangkan ikatan matriks terbaik pada variasi SK20KS10M70. Kesimpulan hasil pengujian yaitu peningkatan jumlah serat mempengaruhi ikatan matriks dan menurunkan nilai kekerasan kampas rem.

Abstract

This article discusses the tendency of Tafsīr 'Ilmī in Imam Suyuti's interpretation of the plague verses. Interestingly, as a classical commentator, he interprets the plague verses in his commentary books using the traditions of the Prophet (naqli), but he explains about the plague in addition to his commentary books by referring to the interpretation of the plague verses which are supported by scientific data. To analyze the tendency of this interpretation (ittijāh al-tafsīr), the researcher uses the theory of scientific interpretation. This research is qualitative in nature and uses content analysis methods, especially the istiqra (inductive) method. The istiqra method is used to analyze his interpretation of the plague verses that are spread in his commentaries and his books on epidemics and medicine. The purpose of this study is to reveal the indications of the trend of scientific interpretation explored by Imam Suyūt}ī in his books on epidemics and medicine by referring to his interpretations in his commentary books, so this research is urgent to confirm the historical roots and dynamics of Tafsīr 'Ilmī, whose epistemological tendency has emerged in the era of classical scholars. The results of this study are, first, in general, the method of interpretation of Imam Suyūt}ī is bi al-ma'ṣūr. Second, Imam Suyūtī's interpretation of the plague verses in Ṭā'ūn and medical themed books tends to 'Ilmi' Tafsir in terms of a more scientific explanation of the narrations that are in accordance with science, medical and socio-historical. Third, the scientific tendency in Imam Suyūt}ī's interpretation is in historical and medical.

Abstract

This study examines the potential of biogas effluent as a source of electrical energy through microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology. The results showed that the one-room MFC produced a maximum voltage of 1302,2 mV, while the two-room MFC with KMnO4 electrolyte reached 1084,3 mV with an electric current of 0,1 mA. Simultaneously, the two-chamber MFC with K2Cr2O4 produced a maximum voltage of 1675,8 mV and an electric current of 0,99 mA. This potential, with electrical voltage values equivalent to commercial batteries, can improve the efficiency of electrical energy generation from organic waste and open up wider application opportunities in using renewable energy sources. Characterization of the MFC substrate showed a decrease in organic matter of biogas effluent with COD values of 500,96 mg/L and BOD of 300,23 mg/L. MFC bacteria from biogas waste were dominated by Gram-positive rod-shaped and Sarcina, except for one Gram-negative isolate of Spirillum.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal Abdul Karim Soroush's Text Hermeneutics as an epistemological solution to the reliability of classical Ulumul Qur'an which gave birth to the contestation of mura>dullah's claim in interpretation when faced with contemporary reality. The type of this research is a literature study, because it relies on non-numerical data. While the data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model. While the data analysis method used is content analysis and linguistic analysis. This research produces three important points. First, by using the hermeneutic theory of al-Qabd} wa al-Bast} (theory of shrinkage and expansion), Soroush shows that the reliability of classical Ulumul Qur'an is not for all times, but it is shrinking and expanding. Interpretation will never be final and demands a fresher dynamism of Ulumul Qur'an according to the demands of the times. Second, mura>dullah's claim on an interpretation under the pretext of the objectivity of interpretation is impossible, because the text has multiple meanings and that is the true will of Allah. Third, the interpretation that is in accordance with muradullah is an interpretation that is methodological (based on theory) even though it produces different meanings and interpretations (interpretive pluralism).

Abstract

This research discusses the understanding of LDK PP. Muhammadiyah regarding the verses of da'wah using the perspective of Maqâsid al-Qur'ân. According to LDK PP. Muhammadiyah, Da'wah based on the verses of the Koran stands on two functions of the Koran, namely message and grace. The use of the term mercy function in this case is very close to one of the terms Maqâsid al-Qur'ân, namely rahmah. Starting from this research problem, the researchers traced the intersection of the two functions with the theory of Maqâsid al-Qur'ân, then the researchers formulated the structure of the Maqâsid verses of da'wah in the LDK PP version. Muhammadiyah. The data analysis methods used are the istiqrâ’ (inductive method) and the muqâranah (comparative method). The inductive method was used to inventory the understanding of da'wah verses as a typical Maqâsid view in the LDK PP version. Muhammadiyah, while the comparative method is used to compare the understanding of da'wah verses of the LDK PP. Muhammadiyah with the formulation of Maqâsid al-Qur'ân. This research produced two findings. Firstly, by using the perspective of Maqâsid al-Qur'ân, secondly, the function of the Qur'anic verses of da'wah in the LDK PP version. Muhammadiyah is the dynamics of the mufassir maqâs}idi version of the Maqâsid formulation of da'wah verses, in the form of maqs}ad al-rahmah and maqsad al-risâlah with their respective derivatives. Second, the dynamics of understanding LDK PP. Muhammadiyah regarding da'wah verses shows two Maqâsid simultaneously, namely theocentric and anthropocentric Maqâsid with renewal in its applicable context.

Abstract

Copper (Cu) pollution from industrial wastewater has emerged as a critical environmental issue due to its toxicity, bioaccumulation, and persistence in aquatic ecosystems. Conventional methods for heavy metal remediation often fail to address the dual challenge of high costs and environmental sustainability, necessitating alternative approaches. This study explores the use of sand-based biofilms for the biosorption of Cu ions, leveraging the natural ability of biofilms to adsorb and immobilize heavy metals. The research focuses on optimizing biosorption conditions, including contact time, initial Cu concentration, and pH, while evaluating the broader impacts on water quality parameters such as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The experimental results demonstrated that biosorption efficiency peaked at a contact time of 1 day, an initial Cu concentration of 100 mg/L, and a pH of 8. At these optimal conditions, the biofilm achieved a biosorption capacity of 39.7 mg/L for Cu ions. Moreover, the treatment significantly improved water quality, reducing COD by 77.06%, BOD by 78.92%, and TDS by 30%. The mechanism of biosorption was influenced by the availability of functional groups within the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) of the biofilm, which provided binding sites for Cu ions. The influence of pH was particularly notable, as it regulated the ionic interactions between Cu2+ and the biofilm matrix. This study not only confirms the effectiveness of biofilm-based biosorption for heavy metal mitigation but also highlights its dual role in reducing organic and inorganic pollutants in wastewater. The use of sand as a substrate for biofilm growth adds an element of scalability and economic feasibility, making it an attractive solution for industrial applications. The findings underscore the potential of this eco-friendly approach to contribute to sustainable wastewater management, addressing both environmental and public health concerns associated with heavy metal contamination. Future research could explore the application of this method for other heavy metals and its integration into existing wastewater treatment systems.

Abstract

This study evaluates the potential of Kendari Bay sediment as an alternative source of electrical energy through the dual-chamber Sediment Microbial Fuel Cell (SMFC) technology. The research focused on sediment characterization, performance analysis using an aerator and KMnO₄, post-operation substrate changes, and the identification of electrogenic bacteria. The results showed that the sediment contained 43.24% moisture, 4.23% organic carbon, 1.08% total nitrogen, a C/N ratio of 3.92, pH 7.38, and conductivity of 11.56 mS. The SMFC generated a voltage of 0.404 V (aerator) and 1.628 V (KMnO₄), along with a current of 5.0 µA. After SMFC operation, organic content decreased, with 42.65% moisture, 4.06% organic carbon, 0.97% total nitrogen, a C/N ratio of 4.19, pH 7.86, and conductivity of 15.78 mS. Identified bacteria were Gram-positive Bacillus spp. These findings demonstrate that aerator and KMnO₄ application in dual-chamber SMFC significantly enhance energy conversion efficiency using marine sediment.
