Abstract

Sentence is a form of human communication which is closely related to language system. Sentence is one of the recursive structures that are often found in daily conversation. Learning syntactic structure is useful to explore the meaning of the sentence contained on it or translated it into another language such as machine language. The problem is meaning, ambiguity, and the language that is not according to the rules of syntax, causing the command translation become more complex. This research is about parsing Indonesian syntax based on natural language rules for applications in the field of human-machine interaction. Each word that is a part of the sentence, is mapped into vector-space model. To estimate the potential connection of two words, we use the recursive neural network. The potential connection of two words translated into a higher structure to obtain a complete sentence structure. We obtain 93% accuracy, with 50 data-set are given in the learning process to represent a hundred vocabularies.

Abstract

Nowdays, traceability system for agriculture comodity is mandatory requirements in some countries such as Japan, United States, and all European countries. All export agricultural companies must applied traceability system to fulfill the mandates of goverments market requirements. Traceability system also has beneficials to reduce products return and improve efficiencies and effectiveness their inventory. Electronic traceability system is relatively new and is believed by many experts to have the advantages than paper-based traceability system such as: integration of data to multiple users, the accuracy of data input and control and monitoring easier and faster. Although the recent problems of traceability becomes the important issues in food and agriculture supply chain, but a few researchers to design and implement electronic traceability system especially to integrate multi-user and in supply chain contex. This paper develop the electronic traceability system products including software for electronic traceability system and barcode technology. Unified Modelling Language (UML) is used to design traceabilty system model that was described a usecase, state and sequence diagram. Based on these models, electronic traceability system was developed by adopting XAMPP control panel. Indonesian mangosteen and manggo fruits were chosen as a case study in order to validate electronic traceability system. The results showed that the electronic traceability system product is relatif support to helps members of supply chain to complete their traceability system capabilities for the benefit of mangosteen and mango exports

Abstract

Induction motor is suitable for the prime mover of the electric vehicle since the design the electric vehicle required extra slim and compact design. Therefore, this research proposes an axial flux induction motor consists of thinstator and rotor. This research will explain about the mechanical, electrical design and implementation of the axial fluxinduction motor that consists of single stator and single rotor. Basically, the design of this machine is similar to conventionalelectric motor. The differences are on the direction of the flux and its construction. The proposed motor has 500 W inputpower, low carbon material of core and the input voltage for this motor is 100 V. Material of the motor core is made fromsteel sheet st.37. The length of axial motor is 66 mm and diameter is 200 mm. From experimental results with the inputvoltage of 15 V, the rotor is able to rotate until 1366 RPM. In order to analysis the performance of the motor, simulationmodel based experimental data of the motor is required. The curve characteristic of the motor shows that the maximumtorque of the motor is 0.79 Nm.

Abstract

Braille letter is characters designed for the blind, consist of six embossed points, arranged in a standard braille character. Braille letters is touched and read using fingers, therefore the sensitivity of the fingers is important. Those characters need to be memorized, so it is very difficult to be learned. The aim of this research is to create a braille characters recognition system and translate it to alpha-numeric text. Webcam camera is used to capture braille image from braille characters on the paper sheet. Cropping, grayscale, thresholding, erotion, and dilation techniques are used for image preprocessing. Then, artificial neural network method are used to recognize the braille characters. The system can recognize braille characters with 99% accuracy even when the braille image is tilted up to 1 degrees.
