Abstract

This study conducts a systematic literature review to explore the dynamics of ecotourism in volcanic regions, with a particular focus on its impact on communities and stakeholders. The review was carried out using the PRISMA protocol, focusing on literature published between January 2002 and May 2024 in the Scopus database. An initial pool of 40 articles was filtered through inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 14 eligible studies for synthesis. The findings reveal diverse impacts of ecotourism in volcanic areas, including economic benefits, conservation challenges, sociocultural transformations, and stakeholder governance. Notably, most studies concentrated on the tourism sector, with limited coverage of other relevant industries. The review also identifies methodological and theoretical gaps, with few studies employing explicit theoretical frameworks. This study contributes to the academic discourse by mapping existing knowledge, identifying thematic clusters, and offering practical recommendations for policy and future research aimed at enhancing the sustainability and inclusivity of ecotourism in volcanic landscapes.

Abstract

Capturing the breadth of research on social capital, empowering leadership, sustainable initiatives, and community welfare is the goal of this systematic literature analysis. Five publications that satisfied the inclusion requirements were found after a thorough search of the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases using PRISMA, which was done between January 2010 and November 2024. The compilation of these articles demonstrates that social capital, sustainable programs, and community welfare have been primarily studied in the healthcare industry. Furthermore, research findings were also conducted in African countries, Turkey, Italy, Canada, and various other countries. Furthermore, the research methods employed were predominantly qualitative. Future research directions are also provided, along with theoretical and practical contributions.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia are the two high state institutions that possess judicial authority; they are both independent of other bodies of government. The Supreme Court, in particular, has two main types of human resources—judge (hakim) and Registrar (Panitera). Despite the fact that registrar and judge job descriptions are clearly different according to regulations, career paths indicate otherwise—while a judge can serve as a registrar at the Supreme Court level, a registrar cannot. This study examines career development inconsistencies in Indonesia’s judicial system, focusing on the dual roles of judges and registrars. Using a literature review approach, this paper highlights regulatory ambiguities and the urgent need for policy reform to address career progression challenges within the Supreme Court. This highlights the formation of a case that needs to be further explored by using a case study approach to unveil factors leading to this situation.
