Abstract

This study aims to show the role of emotions in encouraging effective learning. The affective domain is always considered less significant in the learning process than the cognitive domain. The reader of this article is expected to understand how the role of emotions in the learning process, using cognitive psychology theory and neuroscience  analysis from this study. Next, examine the effect of the affective domain on learning in symbol interpretation. This paper concludes with analysis of reading anxiety and suggestions in reading exercises.

Abstract

Trafo merupakan alat listrik yang digunakan untuk menaikan atau menurunkan daya listrik. Karena tidak semua orang memgetahui apa itu Trafo dan bagaimana proses perakitanya, maka dengan multimedia sebagai salah satu sarana informasi, maka peranan multimedia menjadi sangat penting dalam berbagai bidang seperti dunia usaha, hiburan dan lain-lain. Bentuk multimedia yang popular diantaranya adalah animasi. Animasi merupakan penggabungan dari media gambar dan suara. Selama ini PT Trafoindo Prima Perkasa masih menggunakan media yang sederhana dengan menggunakan power point untuk menyampaikan sebuah informasi seperti company profile kepada karyawan dan masyarakat. Hal ini berhubungan dengan adanya perekrutan karyawan baru, kunjungan studi siswa maupun Mahasiswa  ke PT Trafoindo Prima Perkasa, dimana sebelum menuju ke area poduksi mereka terlebih dahulu dijelaskan tentang  company profile PT Trafoindo Prima  Perkasa. Sayangnya, selama ini pengunjung tidak dijelaskan mengenai proses produksi perakitan. Trafo oleh  Staff HRD yang biasanya menemui dan menemani para pengunjung tersebut. Staff produksi atau kepala bagian yang menemani mereka harus menjelaskan semua proses produksi dari awal sampai akhir sehingga Mahasiswa dan Siswa kurang paham dengan materi yang disampaikan karena terbatasnya waktu di area produksi yang diijinkan oleh perusahaan. Animasi untuk mempermudah informasi dari perusahaaan kepada pengunjung aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan 3DMax dan Adobe Flash. Pembuatan animasi diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang proses produksi bagi karyawan baru, Mahasiswa mapupun Siswa yang sedang melakukan kunjungan studi di PT Trafoindo Prima Perkasa.

Abstract

Abstract:Teaching literature on drama material is needed by students to hone creativity and critical thinking skills in a drama performance. Drama as a literary work and a performance work are two important things to be taught in schools. Devotion to teaching drama to students is necessary to build a construct of a steady understanding of play. Community service with the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method which involves everyone and all participants actively participate in the service process. The midwifery process conducts direct practice on the material provided and conducts joint evaluations. The results of the evaluation produce practical material for the introduction of basic theater exercises proven to hone creative thinking.Abstrak: Pengajaran sastra pada materi drama sangat dibutuhkan siswa untuk mengasah kreatifitas dan kemampuan berfikir kritis dalam sebuah pementasan drama. Drama sebagai karya sastra dan karya pentas merupakan dua hal yang penting untuk diajarkan disekolah. Pengabdian tentang pengajaran drama bagi siswa diperlukan untuk membangun konstruk pemahaman yang ajeg tentang permainan drama. Pengabdian dengan metode PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) yang melibatkan semua orang dan semua partisipan ikut aktif dalam proses pengabdian. Proses pengabidian melakukan praktik langsung terhadap materi yang diberikan dan melakukan evaluasi bersama. Hasil evaluasi menghasilkan materi praktik pengenalan latihan dasar teater terbukti dapat mengasah berfikir kreatif.

Abstract

Developing a multimodal short story writing application is an innovative step in improving students' understanding and ability to write short stories. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an application for learning to write short stories through the Glide Apps platform. This study adopts a research and development (R&D) method to develop multimodal short story writing teaching materials through the Glide Apps platform by integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches. The effectiveness test was conducted using a pseudo-experimental method for students of Kuningan University taking the anatomy of fictional prose course through a one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the impact of the application. The results of the effectiveness test provide a positive picture of the potential of this application as an effective tool in improving short story writing skills as a whole. This application presents various learning methods, theories, and exercises that gadgets can access flexibly. This application also provides short story writing assignment facilities via email. The results of this study have positive implications, especially in developing innovative learning methods that can improve students' literacy and creativity in writing short stories.

Abstract

AbstrakDirectory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) menetapkan serangkaian standar untuk memastikan bahwa jurnal yang terdaftar memenuhi kriteria kualitas dan transparansi yang tinggi. Standar ini mencakup menu minimal yang harus disertakan pada situs web jurnal, seperti kebijakan akses terbuka, tujuan dan ruang lingkup, daftar anggota dewan editorial, pedoman untuk penulis, proses editorial, syarat lisensi, syarat hak cipta, biaya penulis, dan detail kontak. Jurnal Anafora memerlukan perbaikan di beberapa aspek, termasuk penerapan lisensi Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA), penambahan anggota dewan editorial, dan penyempurnaan bagian "Tentang" untuk memenuhi persyaratan DOAJ. Implementasi saran ini akan meningkatkan transparansi, kualitas publikasi, dan kepercayaan dalam komunitas akademik, serta memastikan bahwa Anafora dapat memenuhi standar internasional untuk jurnal ilmiah. Abstract The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) establishes a set of standards to ensure that registered journals meet high quality and transparency criteria. The standard includes minimal menus that must be included on a journal website, such as open access policies, purpose and scope, a list of editorial board members, guidelines for authors, editorial processes, licensing terms, copyright terms, author fees, and contact details. Anafora Journal needs improvements in several aspects, including the implementation of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license, the addition of editorial board members, and the enhancement of the "About" section to meet DOAJ requirements. The implementation of these suggestions will improve transparency, publication quality, and trust in the academic community, as well as ensure that Anafora can meet international standards for scientific journals

Abstract

Introduction: Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy often experience physical and psychological side effects from treatment. Virtual Reality (VR) is emerging as a non-pharmacological therapy to alleviate these complaints. Objective: This systematic review evaluates the impact of VR interventions on physical and psychological complaints in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: A systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA guidelines. Articles were sourced from ProQuest, Cochrane Library, and PubMed, limited to studies published between 2013 and 2023, in English, and containing original research findings. Results: Ten studies were reviewed, revealing that VR interventions reduce depression, pain, and anxiety, enhance comfort, and improve patients’ quality of life. Conclusion: VR technology offers a promising non-pharmacological intervention for managing chemotherapy-related side effects. It supports reducing anxiety, depression, pain, and fatigue while enhancing comfort and quality of life for cancer patients undergoing treatment. Further research is recommended to optimize VR applications in healthcare.

Abstract

Purpose – Author studied the implementation of good corporate governance in a context of microfinance institution. Corporate Governance is a very strategic determining factor for the progress of a company in order to continuously increase value and maintain an ongoing and sustainable growth process.Method – Sources of data used in this study were taken from primary data and secondary data. Apart from interviews, other primary data source categories include reviewing, reading several global financial reports and standard operating procedure (SOP). Secondary data were obtained from books as a complement to primary data sources. Additional secondary data source of this research was obtained by conducting literature reviews.Result – Modern pondok of Tazakka uses at least six different waqf program as a financial source of their activities. These programmes are asset waqf, cash waqf, productive waqf, benefits waqf, profession waqf, and transfer of rights waqf. The programmes help the pondok to be more autonomous and able to provide various benefits for the scholars of the pondok and the people surround it. Implication – The results show that the Baitut Tamwil Muhammadiyah (BTM) implemented a good corporate governance.Originality – This study has enriched an empirical study of corporate governance in microfinance institution in Indonesia.

Abstract

Teaching materials are needed as learning resources that should be adapted based on students’ conditions. The contextual approach is a suitable approach to meet the needs of students in learning in order the improvement of learning outcomes can be carried out. Appreciation of poetry as a course in the department of Indonesian language and literature education requires development to obtain learning outcomes and adjustments on student conditions and the times. The development of such a theory has led this research to develop the design of teaching materials as an intellectual framework and the basis of reference from teaching materials for poetry appreciation. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods to define needs from the point of view of students, lecturers, and experts in the field of poetry appreciation. The results of the study showed the need in terms of content and strengthening the theory. In the elements of the book, the graphics and the appearance or layout are important to attract interest. Supporting elements such as short and long videos and expert opinions are needed by students. Laboratory facilities and art spaces are representative places to apply more contextual learning. This research is prepared for the need of development and for other researchers who need analysis and framework of teaching materials from the book elements, learning outcomes, and supporting components.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Teater sebagai karya pentas merupakan sebuah kemampuan siswa dalam meningkatkan kreativitas. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan dalam tata rias dapat ikut andil dalam proses pengembangan kreativitasnya dalam teater. Sebagai pendukung pementasan maka penting dan sangat diperlukan pengenalan sejak dini di tingkat SMA. Dengan Metode PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) tater dapat dikenalkan lebih dalam melalui pengenalan tarias berupa riasan karakter, riasan pangung, riasan korektif, dan riasan kreatif yang menghasilkan responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baru tentang tata rias. Pada prosesn pelaksanaan siswa sangat antusias dan guru ikut menyimak kegiatan sehinga pembelajaran teater menjadi lebih menyenangkan. ABSTRACTTheater as a stage work is an ability of students to increase creativity. Students who have the ability in make-up can take part in the process of developing their creativity in theater. As a supporter of staging, it is important and indispensable early introduction at the high school level. With  the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, tater can be introduced more deeply through the introduction of dance in the form of character makeup, panggung makeup, corrective makeup, and creative makeup that produces respondents who have new knowledge about makeup. In the implementation process, students were very enthusiastic and the teacher participated in listening to the activity so that theater learning became more fun.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Roasting merupakan salah satu teknik komedi yang digunakan untuk mengkeritik seseorang, roastingan ini akan menyampaikan informasi yang berhubungan dengan suatu individu yang dibawakan dengan suatu humor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa roasting oleh komika Kiky Saputri,pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis wacana kritis (AWK) model Norman Fairclough. Jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan model diskursus yang memuat tiga dimensi analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya penggunaan bahasa roasting yang digunakan oleh komika Kiky Saputri. Hasil analisis dipaparkan dalam bentuk tiga dimensi wacana yaitu : (1) Dimensi Teks (Mikrostruktural) yang didalamnya mencakup kohesi, koherensi, tata bahasa dan diksi. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat data yang kebanyakan termasuk kedalam kohesi dan koherensi. (2) Discourse Practice (Masostructural) mencakup produksi, penyebaran dan konsumsi. Dalam hasil data penelitiannya terdapat semua aspek yang termasuk kedalam discourse practice, (3) Sociocultural Practice (Makrostructural) mencakup situasional, institusional dan sosial. Dalam hasil data penelitianya terdapat semua aspek yang termasuk kedalam sociocultural practice. KATA KUNCI: Bahasa roasting, analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough, dimensi teks,discourse practice, sociocultural practice.   THE USE OF LANGUAGE BY KOMIKA KIKY SAPUTRI IN THE INDOSIAR ANNIVERSARYEVENT WHICH ROASTING CRAZY RICH INDONESIA (Norman Fairclogh’s Critical Discourse Analysis)   ABSTRACT: Roasting is one of the comedic techniques used to criticize someone, this roast will convey information related to an individual that is delivered with humor. This study aims to describe the use of roasting language by comic Kiky Saputri, the approach used in this study is the Norman Fairclough critical discourse analysis (AWK) approach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. With a discourse model that contains three dimensions of discourse analysis. The results of this study indicate the use of roasting language used by comic Kiky Saputri. The results of the analysis are presented in the form of three dimensions of discourse, namely: (1) Text Dimension (Microstructural) which includes cohesion, coherence, grammar and diction. In this study, there are data that are mostly included in cohesion and coherence. (2) Discourse Practice (Masostructural) includes production, dissemination and consumption. In the results of the research data there are all aspects included in the discourse practice, (3) Sociocultural Practice (Macrostructural) includes situational, institutional and social. In the results of the research data, there are all aspects included in sociocultural practice.
