Abstract

The development of the times in this era the use of gadgets in children is considered a natural thing. For some parents, gadgets are an easy solution to calm fussy children. This triggers the tendency for children to keep asking their parents for gadgets. On average, they have early childhood problems with excessive gadget use. The problems found and the solutions offered are for parents who often complain about the existence of gadgets that interfere with their children's activities, which has an impact on the development of the behavior and mindset of children who are easily influenced by gadgets and are difficult to communicate with. For this reason, the purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to parents about the impact of using gadgets in early childhood. This activity is expected to be able to provide understanding to parents how important it is to accompany mothers (parents) when children use gadgets, understand how important time discipline is in using gadgets and understand how important it is to be smart in using gadgets. The method used for the implementation of this outreach activity is to use a participatory approach. With this participatory method, participants will be actively involved in every stage and socialization activities, which will be carried out through counseling, discussions. The result of implementing this socialization is that parents in Hamlet II of Pematang Setrak Village gain understanding and knowledge about the importance of protection in accompanying children to play gadgets and the importance of communicating with children, so as to prevent anti-social behavior from an early age in children.

Abstract

Andalas karya mulia (AKM) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa konstruksi dan penyewaan alat berat. PT. AKM Saat ini perusahaan melakukan pelaporan kendaraan berat dan alat berat masih dilakukan secara manual melalui via whatsapp. sehingga pihak kantor kesulitan dalam mendapatkan data-data yang terbaru dari setiap proyek yang dimiliki perusahaan. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan tersebut diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat memudahkan karyawan yang berada di lokasi proyek dalam melakukan pelaporan kendaraan berat dan alat berat, Agar memudahkan karyawan kantor mendapatkan laporan kendaraan yang terbaru. Dari penjelasan diatas dapat dibuat sebuah sistem yaitu sistem pelaporan kendaraan berat dan alat berat. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan Framework Laravel, Flutter dengan Bahasa pemogramman PHP dan MySQL sebagai DBMS nya. Pembangunan sistem ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Rapid Aplication Development (RAD) agar pembangunan sistem ini dapat terselesaikan dalam waktu 60-90 hari sehingga dapat segera di praktekkan dilapangan. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu karyawan dalam melakukan pelaporan kendaraan berat dan alat berat. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode pengujian blackbox testing, dengan hasil seluruh test case berhasil berfungsi sesuai yang diharapkan dari penggunanya. dilakukan pengujian menggunakan usability testing dari 6 orang responden dengan hasil rata-rata rekapitulasi pengujian dari 5 aspek usability testing sebesar 68.24% responden setuju bahwa sistem pelaporan alat berat dan kendaraan berat telah memenuhi kriteria secara fungsional.

Abstract

Vocational High School is a formal education at the secondary education level. SMK X Pekanbaru is one of the private vocational schools in Pekanbaru that provides IT-based education. There are 5 (five) majors in SMK X Pekanbaru, namely Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ), Software Engineering (RPL), Accounting and Financial Institution (AKL), Office Automation and Governance (OTKP), and Online Business and Marketing (BDP). During the registration period, prospective SMK students will enter their score data and will also choose the majors they want to take. In the absence of a system that can determine majors for prospective SMK students, obstacles will arise including errors in determining majors and requiring a long time to process prospective student data. Based on the above problems, a system will be built that can speed up and simplify the determination of new student majors by using Supervised Learning algorithms in Machine Learning, namely Local Mean Distance Weight k-Nearest Neighbor (LMDWkNN). Based on the results of the confusion matrix testing carried out, the accuracy results were 88.89%, the precision, recall and F1 score were 89%, which states that the model is good enough to determine majors

Abstract

Salah satu teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran Sejarah adalah teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Teknologi AR menunjukkan potensi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Peneliti mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran Augmented Reality Candi Muara Takus berbasis aplikasi android sebagai media pembelajaran. Candi Muara Takus adalah satu objek wisata Sejarah Provinsi Riau yang terletak di Kabupaten Kampar. Dengan dikembangkannya Augmented Reality ini, selain menjadi media pengenalan objek wisata, pembelajaran sumber Sejarah Candi Muara Takus juga menjadi lebih mudah dan menyenangkan. Peneliti melakukan dua tahapan pengujian untuk mengevaluasi kualitas Augmented Reality yang telah dikembangkan, yaitu Blackbox dan Usability Testing. Dari Blackbox Testing, Aplikasi Augmented Reality tidak memiliki error dan semua fungsionalitas aplikasi berjalan dengan baik. Dari Usability Testing, disimpulkan bahwa Augmented Reality Candi Muara Takus telah memenuhi kelima aspek pengujian usability dan memiliki nilai usability yang baik yaitu 3.96.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pekanbaru (MAN 2 Pekanbaru) is one of the Madrasah Aliyah in Pekanbaru. In 2014, MAN 2 Pekanbaru conducted a learning quality survey that was filled in by students. The survey was conducted by distributing paper to students containing questions about learning during one semester. However, there are several obstacles in the survey process, namely the use of excess paper, inefficient time and requires special storage space to store the collected survey paper. These obstacles cause the survey filling process to not run effectively. To overcome these problems, a website for filling out surveys on the quality of learning in schools can be built. On this website there are three access roles, namely, students, teachers and academic fields. Making this survey website will use the prototype method. By using this method, users will be directly involved in the analysis and design process. The results of system testing using Black Box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) show that the system functionality runs well and in accordance with user needs.

Abstract

Used cooking oil, or waste cooking oil, is the byproduct of repeatedly using cooking oil, which results in the formation of substances harmful to the body. Furthermore, improper waste cooking oil management poses a risk of environmental pollution. To address this issue, PT. Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit II Dumai (PT. KPI RU II), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, initiated the "Sedekah Jelantah" program. This initiative involves the CSR division, several sub-districts in Dumai Timur, and the general public, aiming to raise awareness about environmental pollution and promote urban greening in Dumai. To support the program's implementation, a digital system is essential to efficiently manage the donation flow of waste cooking oil from upstream to downstream. Therefore, an integrated web and mobile-based information system, called Sistem Informasi Minyak Jelantah (SiMINAH), was developed using the Lean Software Development (LSD) methodology. Blackbox testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and usability testing were conducted to ensure the system's quality. The black box testing and UAT results revealed that 100% of the application functions performed well and met stakeholder expectations. The usability test showed 87.3%, indicating that the system is highly feasible and meets user needs. All users provided positive feedback on SiMINAH, noting that it simplifies waste cooking oil donations and enhances management processes for local sub-districts and the Dumai city CSR team.

Abstract

This research identifies problems in the student data management process at SMAN 11 Pekanbaru, which still relies on manual recording for students who violate school regulations and students who excel. This causes limitations in operational efficiency. Apart from that, extracurricular activities also experience problems in organizing because the member registration process still uses paper forms. This research aims to develop and analyze a web-based student information system to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of student data management. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), this method was chosen because of its flexibility in accommodating the needs of SMAN 11 Pekanbaru with a short implementation time. This system was developed using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as a database management system. System testing is carried out using User Acceptance Testing which involves admin, student affairs, school principals, homeroom teachers, and students as actors in the system. The results of website functionality testing using the Blackbox Testing method are in the good category, with 24 use cases successfully carried out with a success rate of 62.5%. Usability testing shows a high level of agreement with the system built, with a score of 82.4% for the system aspect, 81.8% for the user aspect, and 80% for the interaction aspect.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 (SMAN 2) is located in Tualang. So far the data report student majors only stored in a database as a final report. Data from the report of the majors could be used as guidelines to determine the students' decision majors for the following year. To take advantage of the data stored in that particular database, we can use data mining disciplines. The method used to make the determination of students majoring done by using Nearest K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm. On the other hand, the method for calculating the distance between the data used models Minkowsky distance with a value of lambda (λ) as a parameter. Lambda values that were analyzed were lambda 1, 2 and 3. Lambda with the value of 1 can generate increasing accuracy in the 11th experiment or with a large amount of data equal to 276 data. Lambda 2 will produce increasing accuracy by the 16th experiment or with the number of training data equal to 356 data while lambda 3 can also produce accuracy continuously increasing by the 11th experiement or with the amount of training data equal to 276 data. The accuracy of the lambda value of 1 is better than lambda 2 and lambda 3. This was proven in 25 experiments at lambda 1 which produces the highest accuracy value for 20 times.Keywords — Classification, Data Mining, K-Nearest Neighbor, Lamda (λ), Minkowsky.
