Abstract

Development in the city of Malang is directed to bring the people of Malang City to the welfare that is distributed evenly. This condition is characterized by increasing economic growth, declining unemployment and decreasing the poor in Malang. In addition, it will also lead people to increasingly cultured conditions, with religious-tolerant values marked by an increasing understanding of traditional values, religious values, mutual respect for differences, and the absence of conflict and violence on behalf of SARA in the city of Malang. The objectives of IbW Program are: (1) To identify potential, actual condition / situation, human resources and realistic resources in Klojen Sub-district, Malang City; (2) To formulate the potential of human resources and natural resources so that it can be used as a pre-eminent commodity of the region; (3) Conducting training activities in the framework of technology transfer generated by Higher Education to the community, so that the community has the knowledge and skills in managing the potential around them. Activities were carried out using survey methods, and observations. Meanwhile, to arrange the action program is done through worshop activity with the hope of action program as needed by society. To that end, in this IbW activity the community is involved from program planning, program implementation, utilization of results and evaluation of program implementation. In this way, the action program is a program that fits the needs of the community. In addition, the implementation of community empowerment activities is carried out using field assistance method. The results of IbW program activities that have been implemented are: (1) Health Sector; Drug hazard counseling; (2) Education Sector; Improved quality of educators with Class Action Research (PTK) training; Mentoring learning for underprivileged students; (3) Economic Program; Entrepreneurship Training "Aneka Handicraft of Maize Maize", (4) Environmental Empowerment Program; Making TOGA, Greening

Abstract

Learning Arabic speaking skills still leaves problems in its implementation; problems with learning methods, media used, and a lousy learning environment are the root of the problem in this case. The same is true in class VIII MTs Al-Raudhah. Because there is no specific and continuous learning about Arabic speaking skills because mastering the skill of speaking Arabic cannot be obtained only by giving theory, but it takes practice and practice continuously. This study aimed to determine the improvement of Arabic speaking skills by applying the Shundūq Al-Asyyā (item box) language game. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK), carried out at MTs Al-Raudhah Cileunyi. The subject of this study was grade VIII MTs Al-Raudhah students for the 2022/2023 academic year. The number of students studied was 28 students, 18 female students and 10 men. Data collection techniques in this study are Observation, Questionnaire, Interview, Test, and Documentation. The results of the study stated that in the first cycle, before applying the Shundūq Al-Asyyā (item box) game media, more precisely on the pretest results, the average speaking skill score achieved by students reached 60.04. After the first cycle, students' average speaking skills score increased to 77.32, although not perfect. (2) In the second cycle, precisely on the pretest, the results showed that the average score of students' speaking skills decreased to 70.46. After implementing the action, the average score of students increased to 87.43, and the average completion reached 89%. Therefore, using Shundūq Al-Asyyā game media in class VIII MTs Ar-Raudhah Cileunyi can improve students' Arabic speaking skills. So, applying this media can be an alternative for teachers to improve students' Arabic speaking skills with fun. Abstract

In this modern era, social media has a big influence on our lives, we can really feel the impact of social media, especially for business promotion. UMKM are able to provide maximum contribution in maintaining the economy. However, being a small and medium enterprise does not mean it cannot provide relatively large employment opportunities because UMKM have a role in absorbing labor to reduce unemployment and contribute to expanding exports while increasing GDP or economic growth in a region. The development of increasingly modern times and the existence of open market mechanisms require UMKM to increase their competitiveness so that they can continue to operate and develop. The increasing use of the internet and the ease of internet connections is a breath of fresh air for MSMEs to be able to actively participate in keeping up with current developments via the internet, especially social media. The aim of this activity is to package a product so that it looks attractive when promoted on social media. After following the tips and strategies that have been explained, Sine Beach UMKM traders can promote their businesses effectively through social media Tiktok.

Abstract

The Learning Model is a very important component in planning and delivering learning. Learning models have many varieties, one of which is the cooperative model. CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) type. This study aims to determine the extent to which the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model improves vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Harapan Baru Ciamis in Arabic language subjects on qirā'ah material. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design of the pre-test and post-test type. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, tests, literature studies, and documentation. The sampling in this study was class IX-A and IX-B at MTs. Harapan Baru Ciamis totaling 47 students. The results showed increased students' learning outcomes in vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Harapan Baru Ciamis in the control and experimental class students. This is indicated by the average initial value of vocabulary mastery in the control class of 50.63 to 67.92. While in the experimental class, the initial average score was 53.91 to 76.74. The increase in students' reading comprehension in the control class got an initial average score of 66.71 to 79.42. The average initial reading comprehension in the experimental class was 67.04 to 86.22. The effectiveness of increasing vocabulary mastery with the Jigsaw model in the control class increased by 35.75%, including the ineffective category. The increase in vocabulary mastery in the experimental class using the CIRC model was 49.75%. This shows that increasing vocabulary mastery is included in the less effective category. The effectiveness of increasing reading comprehension in the control class using the jigsaw model was 36.90%, indicating that the model used was included in the ineffective category. While the increase in reading comprehension using the CIRC model was 56.51%. This shows that increasing reading comprehension using the CIRC model is effective.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Multicultural education content in the ISMUBA curriculum and its implementation in learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bandung City. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research describes conditions in curriculum documents and field observations related to learning. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data triangulation by reducing, presenting, and concluding the data. The findings reveal that the ISMUBA curriculum, which is unique to educational institutions under Muhammadiyah, is an integrative-holistic modern Islamic education system developed to meet community needs. Based on decree 98/KEP/I.4/F/2017, the curriculum focuses on instilling faith, piety, and strong Islamic values, rooted in the Qur'an and Hadith. Multicultural education is embedded in the curriculum’s structure, process, teachers, and assessments. Implementation at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 involves face-to-face learning, habituation, structured and unstructured independent activities, fostering Islamic character, honesty, care, politeness, and responsibility. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendidikan multikultural dalam kurikulum ISMUBA serta penerapannya dalam pembelajaran di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggambarkan kondisi dalam dokumen kurikulum dan hasil observasi di lapangan terkait pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi data dengan mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum ISMUBA, yang merupakan kekhasan lembaga pendidikan di bawah naungan Muhammadiyah, adalah sistem pendidikan Islam modern yang integratif-holistik yang dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Berdasarkan SK 98/KEP/I.4/F/2017, kurikulum ini berfokus pada penanaman keimanan, ketakwaan, dan nilai-nilai Islam yang kuat, yang berakar pada Al-Qur'an dan Hadits. Pendidikan multikultural tercermin dalam struktur, proses, tenaga pengajar, dan penilaian dalam kurikulum tersebut. Penerapan di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 mencakup pembelajaran tatap muka, pembiasaan, tugas terstruktur, dan aktivitas mandiri yang tidak terstruktur, yang bertujuan membentuk karakter Islam, kejujuran, kepedulian, kesantunan, dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh putusan dari Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia yang telah membuat suatu gerakan Magrib Mengaji untuk menghadapi kekhawatiran pemerintah terhadap kemerosotan umat yang kini telah dirasakan terutama kepada anak-anak penerus bangsa, mengingat pelajaran agama disekolah sangat terbatas. Sehingga apakah kegiatan Magrib Mengaji ini dapat membantu mengembangkan prestasi belajar siswa di bidang keagamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 103 Coblong. Teknik Penelitian pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan pengambilan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Sebanyak 38 orang dengan prosentase 46,7% mengikuti kegiatan magrib mengaji dengan sangat baik, dan sebanyak 40 orang dengan prosentase 49,4% mengikuti kegiatan magrib mengaji dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan 3 orang dengan prosentase 3,7% memiliki kategori rendah terhadap kegiatan magrib mengaji. 2) Siswa yang berjumlah 21 orang (27%) memiliki prestasi belajar pada aspek kognitif dengan kategori rendah, sedangkan 45 orang atau 57% dengan kategori sedang, dan 10 orang atau 12,3% memiliki prestasi belajar bidang kognitif dengan kategori sangat baik. 3) Pada aspek Afektif 23 Orang atau 28,4% dengan kategori baik, sedangkan 58 orang atau 71,6% dalam kategori sangat baik. 4) Pada aspek Psikomotorik sebanyak 21 orang atau 27 % tingkat prestasi rendah, sedangkan 45 orang atau 57 % dengan kategori sedang, dan 10 siswa atau 12,3 % dengan kategori sangat baik. 5) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kegiatan magrib mengaji terhadap prestasi belajar PAI dan Budi Pekerti, hal ini berdasarkan dengan hasil perhitungan yang menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000. Oleh karena probabilitas (0,000) kurang dari 0,5 maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) di terima. 0,000.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar bertahun-tahun pada mata kuliah Dasar-dasar Akuntansi, terdapat hasil yang kurang menggembirakan. Rata-rata prestasi mahasiswa lima tahun terakhir terkategori rendah, pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi kuliah minim dan masih terdapatnya kepasifan mahasiswa di dalam ruang kuliah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar mata kuliah Dasar-dasar Akuntansi. Rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini memadukan metode pembelajaran Project Base Learning dengan pendekatan kontekstual sehingga terdapat modifikasi langkah dari model PjBL yang murni. Dimana pada model PjBL dosen yang menyampaikan materi, tetapi pada metode ini mahasiswa membangun sendiri pemahamannya tentang satu materi sampai menyajikannya dalam bentuk presentasi materi disertai pemecahan masalah yang diberikan pada kelompok maupun individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses Pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif dibanding dengan menggunakan metode konvensional, dimana mahasiswa terlibat sejak awal mulai dari pencarian materi, presentasi sampai pembuatan project berbasis project secara kelompok maupun individu.Proses keaktifan mahasiswa juga meningkat dari siklus ke siklus.Hasil pembelajaran juga meningkat dari siklus ke siklus dimana pada siklus 1 mean 59,21 akhir siklus 3 rata-rata prestasi mahasiswa mencapai 78,88 .Hasil belajar dari siklus ke siklus juga menunjukkan perkembangan. Ini berarti metode pembelajaran Project Base Learning dengan pendekatan kontekstual berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah Dasar-dasar Akuntansi di Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi.

Abstract

Newspapers these days tend to be less kind, especially when reporting on elections. Euphemisms can be used because journalistic discourse surrounding elections is essentially political. The purpose of this study is to describe the usage of euphemisms, including their form, meaning, and purpose. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was employed. This research data is presented as words, phrases, and clauses found throughout the whole news discourse column concerning elections in the daily Jawa Pos issue from November 2023 for 12 discourses. The documentation approach was used to acquire data. The research findings demonstrate that euphemisms in simple words, phrases, and clauses are present in the news discourse regarding the election in the daily Jawa Pos for November. In news discussions around elections, euphemisms typically have meanings related to linguistic refinement and the concealment of unpleasant facts or events.
