Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait (1) Perkembangan ragam hias kain tenun endek lukis di pertenunan endek gurita, dan (2) Komposisi ragam hias kain tenun endek lukis di pertenunan endek gurita, Kabupaten Klungkung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan metode wawancara menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Dalam proses analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Adapun jenis ragam hias yang awal berkembang adalah:  a. Ragam hias flora, b. Ragam hias fauna, dan c. Ragam hias figuratif dan ragam hias yang terbaru yaitu d. Ragam hias geometri. Perkembangan ragam hias mulanya terdapat 12 nama ragam hias yang diciptakan, namun seiring perkembangannya ragam hias ini hingga sekarang berjumlah 15 nama ragam hias, yang terkenal dan sudah mengalami perkembangan serta perubahan lagi setiap waktunya, sehingga ragam hias yang sekarang terlihat sudah mulai mengarah ke arah yang lebih kepraktisan. (2) Penempatan komposisi ragam hias ditinjau berdasarkan komposisi warna banyak ragam hias yang dominan menggunakan warna cerah yaitu warna analogus, ditinjau berdasarkan komposisi pola hiasan banyak ragam hias yang dominan menggunakan pola hiasan sudut dengan pusat perhatiannya berada di sudut depan dan ditinjau berdasarkan komposisi prinsip-prinsip desainnya dilihat seperti prinsip harmoni, proporsi, balance, irama, aksen dan prinsip unity banyak menggunakan prinsip aksen.

Abstract

This study aimed at evaluating the implementation of Handicraft and Entrepreneurship course at SMAN 1 Kerambitan. Mix-Method approach was adapted in the form of CIPP evaluation model as the research design which made this study was different from other researches. There were 125 participants consisted of teachers, staffs, and students involved as a research sample. They were selected by using random sampling technique. The data were obtained through questionnaire, observation, and document analysis. The research instruments used were questionnaire and check-list. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that all the dimensions; context, input, process, and product of Handicraft and Entrepreneurship course at SMAN 1 Kerambitan were in an excellent level. The evaluation dimensions of the current study implicated that the implementation of handicrafts and entrepreneurship allowing teachers to innovate the learning process in improving students’ creativity to produce a unique handicraft product.

Abstract

The study was aimed at investigating the effect of problem-based blended learning towards students’ critical and creative thinking skills in economic learning process. Quantitative method was used as a research design by adapting quasi-experimental model. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Marga, Tabanan, Bali by involving 43 eleventh-grade students as the research sample in which they were selected by using random sampling technique from the total 312 population. The data were obtained through post-test in which the essay test and performance test were conducted as the data collection technique. The instruments used were essay test and performance test rubric. The obtained data were analyzed descriptive and inferential statistically. ANOVA and MANOVA test were conducted to answer the hypothesis of this study. It was found that; 1) there was an effect of problem-based learning on students’ critical thinking skills, 2) there was an effect of problem-based learning on students’ creative thinking skills, 3) there was a simultaneous effect of problem-based blended learning towards students’ critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The present study aimed at examining the effect of problem-based learning-based Pancasila student profile and motivation towards students’ learning outcomes. The study was designed in a quasi-experimental pretest-post-test control group with 2x2 factorial designs. The data were collected using a questionnaire and test. The results of the present study shows 1) The economic learning outcomes among students who study with the problem-based learning based Pancasila students profile learning model is higher than students who study with the direct learning model; 2) there is an interaction effect between learning models and learning motivation on economic learning outcomes; 3) for students with high learning motivation, economic learning outcomes following problem-based learning based Pancasila students profile are higher than students following the direct learning model; 4) for students with low learning motivation, the economic learning outcomes following problem-based learning based Pancasila students profile are lower than those of students who follow the direct learning model. Problem-based learning-based Pancasila student profile gives contribution to the learning process.

Abstract

Character education in vocational training institutions requires valid and reliable assessment instruments. At Asta Learning Center, the character assessment instrument has not been fully developed. This study aims to (1) identify the characteristics of the character education evaluation instrument at Asta Learning Center in relation to industrial needs, (2) examine the construction of character education variables based on empirical data, and (3) assess the validity and reliability of the developed character assessment instrument. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method, conducted from May to June 2024. The assessed character traits discipline, honesty, work ethic, independence, and social concern—are essential for developing competent employees. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approach, using SPSS 25.0 for Windows, was applied. The results indicate that the Likert-scale assessment instrument meets validity and reliability criteria. The small-scale trial (10 participants) showed a reliability of 0.761 and rtabel = 0.632, while the large-scale trial showed a reliability of 0.758 and rtabel = 0.367. The findings suggest that the developed instrument is valid, reliable, and suitable for use in Asta Learning Center's learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and the use of formative tests designed to assess Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on students' critical thinking abilities. A quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used, involving two groups: the experimental group employing the PBL model and the control group using traditional teaching methods. Data were gathered through oral and essay tests to evaluate students' critical thinking skills. The findings indicate that the PBL model has a significant positive effect on improving students' critical thinking. Moreover, the use of HOTS-based formative tests was found to significantly enhance students' critical thinking abilities. The combination of the learning model and the type of formative test produced the most considerable improvement in critical thinking skills within the experimental group. The study recommends that teachers expand the use of the PBL model and incorporate HOTS-based assessments to foster critical thinking, which is vital for preparing students to tackle global challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya busana adat Daha dan Truna di Desa Adat Timbrah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) busana adat Daha ditinjau dari busana pokok, busana pelengkap, aksesoris, dan tatanan penggunaan busana adat, serta (2) busana adat Truna ditinjau dari busana pokok, busana pelengkap, aksesoris, dan tatanan penggunaan busana adat di Desa Adat Timbrah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan metode wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik deskriptif. Untuk menentukan informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) busana adat Daha di Desa Adat Timbrah ditinjau dari busana pokok, yaitu saput tenun Tenganan, kamen endek Bali, dan bulang. Busana pelengkap yaitu selibah, sabuk atau kelip. dan longtorso. Aksesoris yaitu, kain beludru, pending, bunga benang, bunga alami, bunga bunter, pekir, empak-empak, bunga emas sandat, bunga emas pucuk, kompyang, rerenteng, anjel, kincung, dan gelang emas. Adapun tatanan penggunaan busana adat Daha menggunakan teknik dililit, disampirkan, dan dipasang satu per satu. (2) busana adat Truna di Desa Adat Timbrah ditinjau dari busana pokok yaitu, saput brokat dan kamen kuning. Busana pelengkap yaitu, sabuk dan stagen. Aksesoris yaitu, udeng dan kadutan atau keris. Adapun tatanan penggunaan busana adat Truna menggunakan teknik dililit, diikat, dan disampirkan. Kata kunci: Busana Adat Daha, Busana Adat Truna, Desa Adat Timbrah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tata rias wajah, tata rias rambut, busana, dan aksesoris yang digunakan dalam Tari Rejang Pande Suci Wedana di Desa Tihingan, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Desa Tihingan, dengan informan utama Kepala Desa Tihingan, Kelian Adat Desa Tihingan, dan Bapak Mangku Made Bargawa. Variabel penelitian ini mencakup tata rias wajah, tata rias rambut, busana, dan aksesoris dalam Tari Rejang Pande Suci Wedana. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif untuk merangkum informasi dan memberikan gambaran komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tata rias wajah Tari Rejang Pande Suci Wedana mengadopsi gaya Klungkung dengan pewarnaan natural pada kelopak mata, alis, pipi, dan bibir untuk memperindah ekspresi penari; (2) Tata rias rambut menggunakan sanggul pusung tagel, ati sasak, bunga sari konta, bunga jepun merah, perkapat, dan krun, yang mengandung simbolisme kedewasaan, kesucian, dan kedekatan dengan Dewi Saraswati; (3) Busana yang dikenakan terdiri dari Lamak, Angkin, Kamen, dan Tapih, yang memiliki simbol spiritual memperkuat kesakralan tarian; (4) Aksesoris dalam tari Rejang Pande Suci Wedana tidak mengenakan aksesoris seperti subeng, kalung, atau gelang. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan lebih dalam tentang estetika dan simbolisme dalam tata rias Tari Rejang Pande Suci Wedana sebagai bagian integral dari tradisi Bali yang kaya akan nilai-nilai spiritual. Abstract

The use of video tutorial supports the practicum in the learning process. The present study developed a video tutorial on Agung Khas Buleleng bridal makeup as learning media for Balinese bridal makeup courses. This study was designed in research and development (Research & Development) using the ADDIE model. This study involved 4 lecturers teaching Balinese bridal makeup courses, 12 students taking Balinese bridal makeup courses, and 4 experts. This study used three instruments, namely interview guides, questionnaires, and checklist sheets. The data collected were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study show namely (1) Students who take part in the process of learning Balinese bridal make-up need learning media in an audio-visual form that is authentic and presents the steps for facial make-up, hair make-up, and Balinese bridal fashion using Payas Agung Khas Buleleng; (2) The development of the Bali Payas Agung Khas Buleleng bridal make-up video tutorial was carried out by adapting the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation; (3) Evaluation shows that the product developed has a good level of feasibility and gets a positive response from students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap preferensi fashion di kalangan remaja. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut, maka desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian kausal dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari jawaban kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Singaraja pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 4878 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh sebanyak 98 sampel. Rincian sampel penelitian adalah SMA N 1 Singaraja sebanyak 23 orang, SMA N 2 Singaraja sebanyak 24 orang, SMA N 3 Singaraja sebanyak 23 orang, dan SMA N 4 Singaraja sebanyak 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner teman sebaya dan preferensi fashion. Kuesioner telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh butir kuesioner valid dan reliabel dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,943 untuk kuesioner teman sebaya dan 0,913 untuk kuesioner preferensi fashion. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Seluruh pengujian dilakukan berbantuan SPSS 26.0 for Windows pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari teman sebaya terhadap preferensi fashion di kalangan remaja, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (12,472 > 1,985) dengan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05.
