Abstract

The objective of this community service is to increase the understanding of the role of Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS) and how they contribute to the implementation of integrated Electronic Medical Records (RME) in hospitals. Key stakeholders, such as medical record personnel, IT staff, and hospital management, were involved in the counseling through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) showed that the application of SIMRS while implementing RME improved the quality of healthcare services and operational efficiency of the hospital. Key advantages found included better interdepartmental collaboration, accurate data management, and quick and easy patient access. Stakeholders agreed that education is the best way to maximize the benefits of this system. Medical personnel require specialized training to master the use of SIMRS and RME. The final conclusion of this community service activity is that the utilization of electronic medical records at the Sembirin Hospital facility in Deli Serdang Regency will facilitate employee activities.

Abstract

Public Health Center of Payung district Karo is a Rural Health Center has been providing patient services using e-PUSKESMAS application since 2023 and has been connected to SATU SEHAT since December28th 2023. The aimed of the research is to analyze the relationship between health workers' perceptions, health workers' education level, health workers knowledge, as well as facilities and infrastructure on effectiveness and efficiency in implementing e-PUSKESMAS in Public Health Center of Payung by using qualitative research that conducted from November 2023 to March 2023. The sampling of the research used the Exponential Non-Discriminatory Snowball with the Sampling technique with 7 informants consisting of one head of community health center, one administrative person, one person from registration, one person from service, one person from laboratory, one person from pharmacy and one patient as triangulation informants. The results of the analysis to conclude that e-PUSKESMAS is effective to supporting the data-based and efficient decision making because it speeds up the work of health workers and reduces administrative costs and increases the satisfaction of patients seeking treatment at Public Health Center of Payung. The small number of health workers with bachelor's education levels and lack of training, as well as the limited number of laptops causes health workers to be less effective and efficient use of e-PUSKESMAS in serving patients.It is recommended for the Public Health Center Management to carry out Learning by doing by creating an e-PUSKESMAS operational module that is easy to understand and creating a ToT (Training of Trainer) program, so that the quality of service is more effective. Providing laptop facilities in each service unit to increase the efficiency of e-PUSKESMAS. The Karo Health Service needs to monitor regularly and the monitoring results are immediately implemented in the provision of infrastructure, so that patient services using e-PUSKESMAS are more effective and efficient at Public Health Center of Payung.

Abstract

Posyandu merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya kesehatan yang bersumber dari masyarakat yang merupakan wujud nyata peran serta masyarakat dalam pembangunan kesehatan. Pentingnya revitalisasi merupakan upaya menghidupkan kembali posyandu yang sudah ada untuk menggali kembali potensi yang dimiliki dalam meningkatkan taraf posyandu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh Revitalisasi Posyandu terhadap Strata Posyandu di Puskesmas Mutiara Kabupaten Asahan Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian observasional menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 63 kader Posyandu. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji univariat, kemudian uji bivariat menggunakan uji Chi Square dan uji multivariat menggunakan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan kader Posyandu yang dilakukan minimal 2 x satu tahun. Terdapat pengaruh dukungan sosial dari pemerintah daerah melalui Lurah dan pemberian insentif, biaya transportasi kepada kader posyandu terhadap strata posyandu Puskesmas Mutiara Kabupaten Asahan dan dukungan sosial merupakan variabel yang paling dominan memberikan pengaruh terhadap strata posyandu dengan nilai Exp. B sebesar 9,429 dan 95% CI: (1,137 – 78,162) menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial yang baik sebesar 9,429 kali estimasi probabilitas strata posyandu yang baik di Puskesmas Mutiara Kabupaten Asahan. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan dan melanjutkan pemberian insentif dan biaya transportasi bagi kader posyandu serta perlu adanya motivasi dan dukungan yang intensif dari pemerintah daerah, dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, dan pihak terkait lainnya, sehingga kedepannya kinerja kader posyandu dapat meningkatkan peran serta dan keaktifannya dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Stroke is a disease that can cause disability in sufferers. To prevent this disability, mobilization and massage can be carried out. In connection with the high stroke disability in Dusun III, Selamat Village, it is necessary to provide counseling on the Benefits of Mobilization and Massage for Stroke Patients. The action provides passive exercise to maintain the physiological function of muscles and joints in patients who undergo long-term bed rest. Mobilization exercises should be carried out as soon as possible to prevent complications due to lack of physical activity, such as contractures and joint stiffness. Meanwhile, massage is a rubbing technique using the palms, fingers, or back of the hand, which follows the blood flow towards the heart with adjusted pressure. This technique is useful for relaxing muscles and nerve endings, as well as improving blood circulation. The benefits of this community service activity are that residents of Dusun III, Selamat Village better understand how to prevent disability in stroke patients by carrying out mobilization and massage to improve the quality of life of stroke patients.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's physical growth does not reach the height that is appropriate for his age is known as stunting. This suggests that the child is experiencing growth delays, which can hinder his physical and mental development. Stunting occurs when children aged 12 to 59 months and younger experience growth failure as a result of chronic malnutrition, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. Thus, kids have a level that is more limited than the standard that ought to be as per their age. Nine children in the Saitnihuta Community Health Center's Doloksanggul District working area were stunted out of 93 samples of children under the age of five. This study aims to identify the factors that contribute to the preval___ence of stunting in the Doloksanggul District's Saitnihuta Community Health Center working area. This kind of research is quantitative and uses a cross-sectional approach and a survey design. The example for this exploration was 93 examples. Univariate, bivariate and multivariate information handling examination. Bivariate examination with chi-square test and multivariate investigation with different calculated relapse. The consequences of this examination are that there is a connection between work (p esteem = 0.027), instruction (p esteem = 0.004), information (p esteem = 0.000), nurturing style (p esteem = 0.012) and disposition (p esteem = 0.007) with hindering . The predominant variable connected with hindering is information. Abstract

The forms of services in hospital is include being able to serve patients suffering from illness, friendliness and the alertness of doctors, nurses and employees so that satisfaction and loyalty of hospital service users will be formed and patients will put their trust and commitment to in the hospital and patients will eventually use the services in the hospital in the future. An important problem related that to doctor job satisfaction that need to be considered by the hospital as the quality of hospital management. The purpose of this research is to find out that effect the job satisfaction of doctors at Hermina Hospital. The type of research is observational analytic with a cross sectional approach with a total number of 76 respondents with a Non Probability Sampling tehnique with a total sampling method. Data analysis was performed by Chi Square data testing and multiple logistic regression. The result of this research that the work satisfaction variable of doctors at Hermina Hospital which has a significant relationship is the variable working environtmen conditions pesonal dependent and interpersonal dependent variables. The most dominant variable is the interpesonal relationship variable. It is recommended to the hospital to be able to improve the quality of facilities, facilities and infrastucture which according to the assessment of doctors who have not yet adjusted to their expectations. It is expected that hospital will conduct training, or continue the education to improve the quality of services and Human Research Development performance. Hospital should be clean, neat and posess comfortable physical evidence when doctors are providing services to patients.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat pencatatan serta akses data pasien, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data yang akurat. Di RSUD Sembiring Deli Tua, SIMRS telah digunakan sejak tahun 2021, namun integrasinya masih terbatas di beberapa unit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan SIMRS, khususnya di unit rawat jalan, guna mengeval_uasi efektivitas sistem dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional dan dilakukan di RSUD Sembiring Deli Tua dengan melibatkan karyawan serta pasien sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memberikan penilaian positif terhadap implementasi SIMRS, dengan 83,3% karyawan dan 97,3% pasien menyatakan kepuasan mereka. Meski demikian, masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperbaiki, terutama dalam hal teknologi dan sumber daya manusia. Sebanyak 26,7% karyawan dan 14,9% pasien menilai bahwa teknologi yang digunakan dalam SIMRS masih kurang optimal, sementara proporsi yang sama juga menilai bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia dalam menjalankan sistem ini. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan SIMRS di RSUD Sembiring Deli Tua telah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan kesehatan, meskipun masih terdapat kendala yang perlu diselesaikan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar rumah sakit memperkuat infrastruktur teknologi, mengadakan pelatihan berkala bagi karyawan, serta mengoptimalkan sistem agar lebih mudah digunakan. Dengan perbaikan tersebut, diharapkan efektivitas SIMRS dapat terus meningkat, sehingga pelayanan kesehatan menjadi lebih efisien dan berkualitas.
