Abstract

Students are the generation who can be said to be national assets because students are an educated group of people who are expected to be able to face various changes and existing problems. However, the facts show that various obstacles can be experienced by students when studying at university which can trigger student delays in completing their education or not graduating on time which will lead to academic procrastination. One of the factors that influence the level of academic procrastination in students is personal growth initiative. This is because personal growth initiative are closely related to efforts to develop someone in a positive direction by deliberately optimizing someone's potential to change to become a better person. Therefore, this study aims to test whether personal growth initiatives have a role so that they can be used as a solution to overcome the problems of academic procrastination experienced by students. The subjects of this were 334 male and female students who experienced academic procrastination. The measuring tool for both variables uses a Likert scale. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative influence between the personal growth initiative variable (x) and the academic procrastination variable (y) with the simple linear regression equation Y = 56,548 + (- 0,283)*X. Berbagai kendala bisa saja dialami oleh mahasiswa ketika menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi, yang akhirnya menjadi pemicu keterlambatan penyelesaian pendidikan mahasiswa, salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah prokrastinasi akademik yaitu menunda-nunda pekerjaan. Demikian juga prokrastinasi akademik dapat dipengaruhi oleh personal growth initiative yang berkaitan erat dengan usaha-usaha untuk mengembangkan diri ke arah yang positif dengan mengoptimalkan potensi dirinya secara sengaja untuk terus berubah menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah personal growth initiative memiliki peran sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling, maka sebanyak 334 mahasiswa yang teridentifikasi mengalami prokrastinasi akademik terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala personal growth initiative dan skala prokrastinasi akademik. Analisis data menggunakan Jamovi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif antara variabel personal growth initiative (x) dengan variabel prokrastinasi akademik (y) dengan persamaan regresi linier sederhana Y = 56.548 + (- 0.283)*X.

Abstract

Teens begin to be attracted to the opposite sex, some even have romantic relationships with the opposite sex. In relation to other people, it is very possible to cause conflict. Differences experienced by two people (pairs) can cause interference in learning, especially if the person does not have a clear achievement goal in learning. This study aims to determine the relationship between the ability of adolescents in overcoming conflicts with partners, achieving goals, and independent learning. The subjects of this study were 388 high school students, 182 male students and 206 female students. The sampling used is cluster random sampling. The data was taken in the city of Malang and the Likert scale is a measuring tool used for the third variable. The results of this study indicate that 1) there is no relationship between romantic partner conflict and SRL (r=0.48, sig=0.344<0.05); 2) however, achievement goal is not a mediating for romantic partner conflict variable and SRL; 3) there is a positive relationship between romantic partner conflict and the achievement goal (r = 0.122, sig = 0.016).

Abstract

Remaja yang berada dalam lingkungan akademik dan pendidikan memiliki tuntutan dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik sehingga membutuhkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dalam meregulasi diri sebab akan memengaruhi proses belajarnya, seperti performanya dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Faktor Self Regulated Learning (SRL) dari dalam diri berupa kepribadian dan tujuan khusus (achievement goal) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuannya dalam melakukan regulasi diri dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self regulated learning ditinjau dari kepribadian (OCEAN) dan achievement goal (Mastery dan Performance Orientation) pada pelajar usia remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan cluster random sampling, dengan subjek sebesar 388 siswa SMA baik laki-laki maupun perempuan yang duduk di kelas 1, 2, dan 3. Data yang diperoleh akan diuji dengan menggunakan teknik statistik struktural equation modelling (SEM). Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa achievement goal berpengaruh terhadap SRL. Hanya kepribadian openess dan conscientiousness yang berpengaruh terhadap SRL.Kata kunci: achievement goals; personality; self regulated learning; youth.Adolescents who are in an academic and educational environment have demands in completing academic tasks so that they need skills and abilities in self-regulation because it will affect their learning process, such as their performance in completing academic assignments. The Self Regulated Learning (SRL) factor of the self in the form of personality and special goals (achievement goal) influences its ability to conduct self-regulation in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of self-regulated learning in terms of personality (OCEAN) and achievement goals (Mastery and Performance Orientation) in adolescent students. The research method used is quantitative, with cluster random sampling, with a subject of 388 high school students both male and female who are sitting in grades 1, 2, and 3. The data obtained will be tested using statistical structural equation modelling (SEM) techniques. This study found that achievement goals had an effect on SRL. Only openess personality and conscientiousness affect SRL.Keywords: achievement goals; personality; self regulated learning; youth.

Abstract

Background: Conflicts do not only occur in everyday life, but also in romantic relationships. Dissatisfaction, separation, or even death will be the result of conflict in romantic relationships if not addressed early or faced in a positive way. Seeking help from a counselor is one of the beneficial methods for dealing with conflict. However, one obstacle in the assessment process is the unavailability of measuring instruments that can be used by counselors. Objective: This study aims to adapt and validate The Romantic Partner Conflict Scale (RPCS) into Indonesian language and culture. Method: The RPCS adaptation was conducted using the backward translation technique. Evidence validity based on test content using Aiken's V and based on internal structure using CFA was used. The respondents in this study were 644 people. Result: The results of the adaptation of the RPCS into Indonesian language and culture show that the RPCS items (total of 37 items, 2 dropped) can measure each dimension of the RPCS and are easily understood by respondents. The validation results show the availability of validity evidence based on test content and internal structure. Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the RPCS can be used by counselors for assessment purposes or by researchers for research purposes.

Abstract

This study discusses the regulation and legal impact of the outsourcing system in Indonesia in the context of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and its derivative regulations, especially PP No. 35 of 2021. Outsourcing is a form of employment that allows companies to use labour from third parties. Although it can reduce costs and increase company efficiency, this system raises issues of protection of workers' rights. The focus of the study is directed at a legal review of changes in outsourcing regulations, as well as the implications of the government's plan to abolish them during Prabowo’s leadership. This study uses a normative legal method with a statute approach, and data is obtained through literature studies. The results of the study show that although the Job Creation Law provides flexibility for outsourcing practices, its implementation often creates job uncertainty, weak protection for workers, and potential violations of labour rights. The plan to abolish the outsourcing system has sparked debate between labour and employer groups, given the significant legal and socio-economic impacts. Therefore, fair and balanced implementation regulations are needed so that worker protection is maintained without hampering the national investment climate.

Abstract

Sekolah membuat tata tertib guna menjamin keberhasilan pendidikan, sedangkan kedisiplinan merupakan hal yang penting dalam mentaati tata tertib, akan tetapi tidak dapat dipungkiri masih banyak permasalahan yang muncul terkait dengan kedisiplinan. Kedisiplinan adalah sikap dan perilaku siswa yang sesuai dengan aturan-aturan yang berlaku di kelompok sekolah. Salah satu prediktor individu mempunyai kedisiplinan adalah disiplin shalat wajib lima waktu, karena individu yang disiplin shalat wajib akan mampu terbiasa berperilaku disiplin, mengatur waktu, dan mampu memunculkan perilaku yang baik karena dengan shalat individu tersebut senantiasa mengingat larangan dan perintah Allah SWT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan disiplin shalat wajib lima waktu dengan kedisiplinan siswa SMA. Adapun subjek penelitian berjumlah 207 siswa SMA dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala disiplin shalat wajib dan skala kedisiplinan. Analisis menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif disiplin shalat wajib terhadap kedisiplinan siswa (r = 0.654, p = 0.000< 0.05).
