Abstract

Social competence is a from of social skill that can be learned and developed to increase the quality of adolescents coping behavior since sosial competence is the index and predictor for the adolescent healthy adjustment.          The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of social competence on the late adolescents coping behavior.          The subjects of this study were late adolescents who were student of the third grade of SMA Batik I, SMA AL Islam I and SMA Muhammadiyah I in Surakarta. They were between 18-21 years of age.          The instrumens used to collect the data were social competence and coping behavior scales. The social competence scale was based on four aspects: (a) social knowledge, (b) self confidence, (c) empathy and (d) social sensivity. The coping behavior scales was categorized into two factors: (a) mature coping behavior and (b) immature coping behavior.          The statistical methods to analyze the data were intercorrelation matrix analysis and simultan regression analysis. The results of this study were as follow: (a) the level of social competence has a role on the quality of adolenscents coping behavior, (b) sensivity aspects contributed most to the immature coping behavior.

Abstract

The emergence of aggressive behavior in teenagers can occur due to various factors,  the family is one important aspect that is allegedly associated with the pattern adolescent aggressive behavior. The role of parents to adolescent aggressive behavior by providing emotional support needed to suppress aggressive behavior in adolescents themselves. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional support of parents and the aggressiveness of adolescents with divorced parents. The sampling technique used purposive technique with a subjects were 113 boys and girls with divorced parents aged 12 to 22 years, and lived with one parent. This research instruments using Agression Questionnair scale and the scale of parental emotional support made by the author based on aspects of emotional support by Thoits 1986 with data analysis using SPSS 21. The results show the value of (r) of -0.327 with p 0.000 < 0, 05. It shows that there is a significant negative correlation between parental emotional support and aggressiveness of adolescents with divorced parents. Parental emotional support’s contribution to adolescents with divorced parents aggressiveness of 10.7% (r2 = 0.107)

Abstract

A healthy person is a person who always develops in new states that require adjustment, while an unhealthy individual is when individuals do not use the potential that can be maintained and used in their lives, specifically for women who actually can increase their potential. The purpose of this study was to study the infuency of personal maturity towards Cinderella Complex in early adult women. This study used a correlational research design, using a accidental sampling technique with help of google form. The subjects were 2956 early adult women aged 18-25 years. The instrument in this study used a scale of personal maturity and the scale of the findings of the cinderella complex inventory. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there were effect of personal maturity towards complex cinderella tendencies in early adult women. The value of regression coefficient is -0.390 with p = 0,000 <0.05. This result shows that the higher the personal maturit in earl adult woman, the lower cinderella complex tendency in individuals. The influence of personal maturity towards the tendency of Cinderella complex in early adult women is about 34.7%. This research can be used as a material consideration to arrange psychoeducation program as a preventive effort.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan self-regulated learning terhadap peningkatan akademik (IP) pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan dua kelompok secara random. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 54 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah self-report dan dokumentasi. Analisa data menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, kelompok yang diberi pelatihan SRL memiliki prestasi akademik lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok yang tidak diberi pelatihan SRL dengan nilai p< 0,003. Dimana kelompok yang diberi pelatihan memiliki nilai rata-rata indeks prestasi (IP) lebih tinggi dengan mean = 2,78 dibandingkan kelompok yang tidak diberi pelatihan dengannilai mean = 2,47.Kata kunci: Self-Regulated Learning, Prestasi AkademikThis study aimed to know the effect of SRL training on developing students' academic achievement. Abstract

Abstrak. Mengasuh anak dengan autis merupakan tantangan bagi orang tua terutama ibu. Untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut dibutuhkan Parenting self-efficacy yang tinggi untuk menghadapi stressor yang muncul selama proses pengasuhan. Psikoedukasi menjadi salah satu metode intervensi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan variabel tersebut, melalui kesiapan kognitif dengan memberikan pemahaman dan informasi baru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah orang tua siswa di Pusat Layanan Autis Malang sebanyak 4 orang yang diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh psikoedukasi terhadap parenting-self efficacy orang tua sebelum dan sesudah pemberian psikoedukasi ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan parenting self-efficacy pada ibu anak penyandang autis.Kata Kunci: psikoedukasi, parenting self-efficacy, ibu dengan anak autisAbstract. Parenting a child with autism disorder is a great challenge for the mother. Hence, the ideal parenting self-efficacy is needed to face stressor which appears increases the variable through up to date information. The study selects four parents at Autism Services Center using purposive technique sampling. This study applied pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The results of the study showed that psychoeducation influences parenting self-efficacy before and after giving treatment which showed by Wilcoxon test. Result showed that psychoeducation is highly important to improve parenting self-efficacy among mother to the children with autism disorder. Abstract

Stres yang dialami remaja akan menimbulkan reaksi yangberbeda-beda. Bila stres yang dialami remaja dalam tingkatanrendah, maka stres justru merupakan suatu motivasi yangdibutuhkan untuk bergerak, dan merupakan suatu energi yangdapat digunakan secara efektif. Sebaliknya jika stres yang dialamiremaja di luar batas kemampuannya akan membuat remaja merasatidak nyaman dan merasa tertekan, sehingga para remaja perludibekali keterampilan pengelolaan emosi agar dapatmenyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi.Tujuan spesifik yang akandicapai dalam pengabdian di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang iniadalah memberikan keterampilan pengelolaan emosi remajadengan teknik relaksasi, EFT dan terapi tawa.Metode kegiatan pengabdian mandiri ini menggunakansistem sistem Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan presentasi 30 %untuk eksplorasi masalah dan mengidentifikasi kepekaan danberfikir positif dan praktek teknik pengelolaan emosi 70 %.Antusiasme peserta tampak sejak awal kegiatan. Peserta yanghadir sebanyak 78 orang yang duduk dibangku kelas 3 SMK.Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini diketahui bahwa pararemaja memiliki masalah yang beragam dan masih menggunakancara-cara yang kurang efektif dalam menyelesaikan masalah,sehingga teknik-teknik yang diajarkan untuk mengelola emosiketika menghadapi masalah sangat berguna bagi peserta.Teknik Relaksasi, Terapi Tawa dan EFT dapat membantumengatasi masalah yang dihadapi remaja. Sedangkan saran yangdapat diberikan adalah: (1) Program Pengabdian Masyarakat LPMUniversitas Muhammadiyah Malang dalam bentuk IPTEK perluditeruskan dan diperluas di lembaga pendidikan muhammadiyahyang lain terutama lembaga yang setingkat dengan SMKmengingat kegiatan tersebut memberi manfaat kepada pararemaja. (2) SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang perlu menjalinkerjasama dengan LPM Universitas Muhammadiyah Malangterutama dalam pembinaan siswa agar mereka mendapat kegiatankegiatanyang beragam untuk mengembangkan potensi dan jatidiri remaja Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Pengelolaan Emosi

Abstract

Socio-emotional competence is important in children's development, because it can help them in problem solving, increase in prosocial behavior, form good relationships, and adapt to growing and complex demands. Lack of socio-emotional competence in the early stages of development is associated with aggressive tendencies, bullying, low problem solving, social isolation, rejection of relationship with peer, lack of skill in taking responsibility, involvement with crime, and drug use. Therefore, in increasing the set of competencies that children need for the future, boy-boyan become an alternative learning media through experience. With feedback from the games, children will get new knowledge to be applied in everyday life. A total of 60 male and female subjects aged 9-12 years were divided into three research groups, namely the experimental group 1 who received the boy-boy game method with experiential learning, the experimental group 2 who played only boy-boyan, and the control group. Method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest subject design. Data analysis used Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney, and the scale used was the Socio Emotional Competence Questionaire which was measured at the pretest and posttest. The results showed that there were significant differences between the three groups (ρ 0.000), and there was an increase in three aspects of socio-emotional competence in children through boy-boyan with the experiential learning method compared to only playing boy-boyan. Keywords: Childern ; Socio-Emotional Competence ; Traditional Play

Abstract

Kepekaan siswa pada sesama belakangan ini mulai menurun, remaja kurang perduli dengan lingkungan, dan orang lain, tentunya hal ini kurang baik bagi perkembangan remaja itu sendiri,maka dengan ditumbuhkan empati dapat meningkatkan perilaku prososial (Hoffman, 2000) Dukungan sosial sangat berperan penting dan punya efek yang kuat pada perilaku prososial. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah menengah pertama ( SMP) dengan berjumlah 265 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive samping. Perilaku prososial diukur dengan menggunakan skala Prosocial Tendencies Measure-Revised (PTMR). Empati diukur menggunakan Emphaty Questionnaire, dukungan sosial di ukur dengan menggunakan skala child and adolescent social support (CASS) . Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan perilaku prososial yang dimediasi oleh empati pada siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Performa kerja anggota Kepolisian menentukan baik dan buruknya kualitas pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Dalam menjalankan tugas, anggota kepolisian perlu mengelola stres kerja sehingga dapat mencapai performa kerja yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan stres kerja dengan performa kerja yang dimoderasi oleh motivasi berprestasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Penentuan subjek menggunakan accidental sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota Polres Blitar yang berjumlah 341 orang dengan sampel 150 orang. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur stres adalah New Job Stress Scale, skala untuk mengukur performa kerja Individual Work Performance Questionare, dan dalam mengukur motivasi berprestasi menggunakan Teori Mcclelland dengan skala motivasi berprestasi. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Hayes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara stres kerja dengan performa kerja. Dari hasil analisis pada ketiga variabel diambil keputusan β = 0.616 dengan p = 0.00, menunjukkan motivasi berprestasi memoderasi hubungan stres kerja dengan performa kerja. Kata kunci: stres kerja, performa kerja, motivasi berprestasi Abstract The work performance of members of the Police determines the good and bad quality of service to the community. In carrying out their duties, police officers need to manage work stress so that they can achieve the desired work performance. This study aims to analyze the relationship between work stress and work performance which is moderated by achievement motivation. The design of this research is correlational quantitative research. Determination of the subject using accidental sampling. The subjects of this study were 341 Blitar police officers with a sample of 150 people. The scale used to measure stress is the New Job Stress Scale, a scale to measure the work performance of the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire, and in measuring achievement motivation using the Mcclelland Theory with achievement motivation scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is Hayes analysis. Based on the results of the analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between work stress and work performance. From the results of the analysis of the three variables, the decision β = 0.616 with p = 0.00 was made, achievement motivation moderates the relationship between work stress and work performance.
