Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of At-Taqwa mosque in Simorejo Surabaya towards the community. It uses qualitative approach with descriptive case study methodology. The researcher used purposive technique for data collection to determine the informant. Based on the technique, the researcher obtained seven informants which were the head of takmir, and six mosque jamaah from At-Taqwa Simorejo Surabaya. The data collection was done bydoing observation, documentation, and in-depth interview. The analysis of the data was done by using interactive model which were data reduction, data display and drawing the conclusion.The result is At-Taqwa Simorejo mosque has a big role in social empowerment because the community is involved in productive process which is based on equality and security, sustainability and cooperation which can run simultaneously so that prosperity can be achieved.

Abstract

Seleksi tingkat kematangan pada buah stroberi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya. Tingkat kematangan dalam panen merupakan faktor paling penting yang menentukan kualitas buah. Stroberi yang telah matang optimal memiliki banyak kandungan nutrisi. Sensor tingkat kematangan stroberi telah dibuat berdasarkan kecerahan warna merah pada permukaan kulit stroberi. Sistem sensor dirancang dengan menggunakan Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sebagai sensor intensitas cahaya dan Light Emitting Diode (LED) sebagai sumber cahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan stroberi dengan menggunakan tiga derajat warna merah, yaitu light-red, fresh-red dan black-red untuk membedakan tingkat kematangan buah stroberi. Nilai tingkat kematangan untuk light-red 671,2, fresh-red 709,05 dan black-red 777,5. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sensor dapat mendeteksi tingkat kematangan stroberi dengan presisi 93,3%. Dengan demikian, sensor tingkat kematangan stroberi dapat direalisasikan.

Abstract

The increase in the surface temperature of solar panels can reduce their efficiency. This issue can be mitigated through the implementation of cooling systems. One of the currently developed cooling methods involves the use of phase change materials (PCMs). Paraffin is the most commonly used PCM for solar panel cooling systems due to its melting point, which falls within the operating temperature range of solar panels. However, paraffin has a drawback in the form of low thermal conductivity. To overcome this limitation, paraffin is often composited with materials possessing high thermal conductivity, such as graphite. Graphite can also be expanded to alter its mechanical and thermal properties. The expansion of graphite using a solution of H₂SO₄ and K₂S₂O₈ can increase its surface area to 15.669 m²/g and 201.945 m²/g for 5% and 10% solid–liquid variation ratios, respectively. The addition of expanded graphite (EG) can also enhance the thermal conductivity of the PCM to 0.31 W/mK, 0.37 W/mK, and 0.44 W/mK with 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt% EG additions, respectively. The paraffin-based PCM cooling system can reduce the average surface temperature by 15.36% and increase the overall efficiency by 0.3%. A PCM cooling system composed of paraffin and expanded graphite (95%/5%) can lower the average surface temperature by 20.32% and increase total efficiency by 0.4%. The PCM system with a 90%/10% paraffin-EG composition can reduce the surface temperature by 32.44% and enhance total efficiency by 1.2%. Meanwhile, the 85%/15% paraffin-EG cooling system achieves a temperature reduction of 32.52% and a total efficiency improvement of 1.27% compared to the system without cooling.

Abstract

This study presents the development and evaluation of a self-constructed Dynamic Light Scattering system using a digital oscilloscope as its main acquisition platform. The aim of this research is to investigate the ability of the oscilloscope-based approach to measure particle size distributions and to compare its performance with that of a conventional Dynamic Light Scattering instrument. Autocorrelation data collected at different temporal acquisition settings were processed using Tikhonov regularization, and the optimal regularization parameter was determined through analysis of the characteristic L-shaped curve. The results show that the temporal resolution of the oscilloscope strongly influences the stability and accuracy of the reconstructed particle size distributions. Measurements obtained at medium acquisition intervals provide the best agreement with the commercial system, producing sharp and well-defined particle size peaks. In contrast, excessively short or long acquisition windows introduce noise or loss of temporal detail, which affects the inversion results. Overall, the findings demonstrate that an oscilloscope-based Dynamic Light Scattering approach can serve as an effective and low-cost alternative for particle size characterization and has strong potential for future development into a portable and affordable optical measurement system.

Abstract

Persamaan Poisson merupakan bentuk diferensial dari Hukum Gauss yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara distribusi muatan dan potensial listrik yang dihasilkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan memvisualisasikan distribusi potensial listrik dari tiga konfigurasi muatan berbeda, yaitu monopol, dipol, dan konfigurasi multipol kompleks yang terdiri dari lebih dari lima muatan. Simulasi dilakukan melalui pendekatan numerik berbasis metode beda hingga pada domain dua dimensi.Visualisasi menunjukkan bahwa distribusi potensial sangat dipengaruhi oleh konfigurasi dan posisi relatif muatan, dengan karakteristik medan yang semakin kompleks seiring bertambahnya jumlah muatan. Pada kasus multipol, kompleksitas distribusi medan meningkat secara signifikan dan memperlihatkan pola-pola interferensi potensial yang khas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode numerik dapat digunakan secara efektif untuk memahami fenomena distribusi potensial dalam sistem elektrostatik.Kata kunci : persamaan poisson, potensial listrik, distribusi potensial, pendekatan numerik, elektrostatik
