Abstract

The Child-Friendly Village Program (DRA) in Lamongan Regency is a continuation of both the Child-Friendly Regency program and the Habitat Agenda II, specifically the Child-Friendly City initiative. Although Lamongan Regency lacks a designated DRA village, several villages have demonstrated commitment and progress in meeting the DRA indicators. In line with the priority program, namely tourist villages, DRA needs to be studied as a thematic tourism village because it has specific tourist attractions and attractions for children. This research aims to determine potential villages for thematic tourism based on Child-Friendly Villages. This study uses a case study method. We collected data through in-depth interviews and observation techniques. The data analysis employs a weighting technique (scoring) to evaluate tourism potential and DRA implementation. This technique involves assigning a score of 86-100 for very good, 71-85 for good, 56-70 for quite good, and less than 55 for not good. The results of the study show that the potential village with the highest value is Kendal Sekaran Village. This research provides practical recommendations for local governments in the development of child-friendly thematic tourism villages, as well as being a reference for other villages in meeting the Child-Friendly Village indicators.

Abstract

Cyber village is a residential area in RT (neighborhood association) 36 in the tourist area in Tamansari Yogyakarta. It has recognized image as an information technology based region with good internet network. Internet technology at the cyber village is slowly changing the behavior of the citizens from the social, economy, culture and tourism aspects. The behavior changes on the social, economic, cultural and tourism aspects affect the spatial setting at Tamansari "cyber" village to become a unique tourist area. The methods used in this research were Qualitative Research through observation to identify phenomena that occur, interviews, and literature studies that were analyzed by behavior setting method. The results of this research showed that changes in the image of the region influence the citizens’ behavior that finally creates certain spatial settings to meet the needs for space which could accommodate the village potentials, covering the social, economic, tourism and cultural potentials.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct experimental testing to obtain empirical values of the dynamic elastic moduli (MoEd) of wood, and to study its correlation with the static elastic moduli (MoE). The research method used is a quantitative method to obtain the parameters of progagation time and velocity data, by using a non-destructive test method on the structural components of columns and beams in existing buildings. The scope of the study is the dynamic elastic moduli data obtained from the results of previous studies, namely non-destructive testing on two existing wooden house buildings located in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The wood used is Teak wood species (Tectona grandis). The results of the study indicate that the MoEd of Teak wood (Tectona grandis) is obtained at 32891.34 MPa and MoE is 20007.17 MPa, with a ratio of MoE/MoEd of 0.608. The results of the study indicate that the wood in existing buildings is included in the category of strength class 1 with a quality code of E20 referring to SNI 7973.
