Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari teknik pengelolaan diri perilakuan dalam menurunkan kecanduan internet. Subjek penelitian dalam eksperimen ini sebanyak 7 orang mahasiswa. Karakteristik subjek di antaranya : 1) Durasi penggunaan internet antara 8 – 38 jam perminggu atau 2 – 5,5 jam perhari, dan 2) Memiliki kecanduan internet sedang ditunjukkan dengan skor antara 66-88. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan perlakuan berupa teknik pengelolaan diri perilakuan selama empat kali pertemuan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kecanduan internet. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik nonparametrik dengan menggunakan teknik Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test untuk menguji beda skor dari dua sampel yang berpasangan yaitu data prates dan pascates pada kelompok eksperimen. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa teknik pengelolaan diri perilakuan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menurunkan kecanduan internet pada mahasiswa (p=0,028).

Abstract

This research was purposed to find out the effect of company profile booklet based on compensation and company profile booklet based on organizational support toward applicants attractiveness. Furthermore, this research alsofind out which company profile booklet that has more attractiveness between company profile based on compensation or company profile booklet based on organizational support. The subjects in this research were 60 students in last term who study in Yogyakarta. The data were collected through random sampling technique. Themethod of this research was ‘post test only’ experiment design and using attractiveness scale. Then, this reseacrh was analized using comparison test, Mann Whitney U analysis teqnique. The hypothesis was accepted if this research had significant score p < 0,05 , and the significant score of this research was 0,021, where company profile booklet based on organizational support had higher mean rank score which is 35,70%, meanwhile the mean rank score of company profile based on compensation was 25,30%. It also emphasized that company profile booklet based on organizational support more increase the attractiveness for applicants than company profile booklet based on compensation, and it proves that the hypothesis in this research was accepted.Key Words: Attractiveness, Compensation, Organizational Support

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of gratitude exercise using three good things techniques on happiness at work enhancement. Participants of this study were 15 employees aged 21-28 years divided into two groups: eight participants in the experimental group and seven participants in the control group. The design was a randomized two-group pretest-posttest. Collecting data used to happiness at work scale with Likert model prepared by the researcher. Data analysis methods used by using Mann Whitney U technique for differences of the gain score in the experimental group and control group data score. The result of gain score analysis showed t value = 8.500 and p-value of 0.021 (p<0.05), indicating there is a significant difference between the experimental group and control group after gratitude exercise. The result shows that gratitude exercise using three good things techniques is effective to increase happiness at work of employees. Key notes: gratitude exercise, happiness at work, three good things
