Abstract

Abstract The weakness of mode choice model based on trip-based and tour-based is not paying attention to how the characteristics of the activity  influence the alternative modes used to conduct such activities. Regarding this, the mode choice model in this study based on the activity schedule and the time allocation. The mode choice model for the three alternatives such as private car, private motorcycle and other modes in this study is developed with the multinomial logit choice model based on the utility time allocation model of activity choice in a day. The selection mode is used to conduct the activity choice at the time after returning home from working activities.The result of the empirical analysis shows that the attributes of individuals, families and activities greatly affect the utility of time allocation of activities such as sports, shopping, meetings, entertainment and socialisation. Alternative modes that have greater attributes of utility activity value, shorter travel time, lower travel costs and joint tour have greater chance to be selected. Keywords: Activity time allocation, Activity Timing, Mode choice, Utility time allocation, Multinomial Logit   Abstrak Kelemahan model pemilihan moda berdasarkan trip based dan tour based adalah tidak memperhatikan bagaimana pengaruh karakteristik aktivitas terhadap pilihan moda yang digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tesebut, model pemilihan moda dalam penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan  jadwal dan alokasi waktuaktivitas.Model pemilihan moda untuk tiga alternatif pilihan mobil dan motor pribadi serta moda lainnya dikembangkan dengan model pemilihan multinomial logit berdasarkan model utilitas alokasi waktu aktivitas pilihan dalam satu hari.Pemlihan moda digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas pilihan pada waktusetelah pulang ke rumah dari aktivitas bekerja.Hasil analisis empiris menunjukan atribut individu, keluarga dan aktivitas sangat mempengaruhi utilitas alokasi waktu dari beberapa aktivitas pilihan seperti olah raga, belanja, meeting, hiburan ke mall dan bersosialisasi.Alternatif moda yang mempunyai atribut nilai utilitas aktivitas yang lebih besar, waktu tempuh yang lebih singkat, biaya perjalanan yang lebih rendah dan bersifat joint tour menpunyai peluang yang lebih besar untuk dipilih. Abstract

Muara Enim road segment SP. Sugihwaras very potential to occur landslide based on its location which is on the edge of the river. Recorded by the National Road Implementation Institute (BBPJN) III has been a slope grid in 2014. Slope improvement efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Public Works using a combination of gabion not too successfully overcome the problem. In addition to the strength element of a construction work, the cost and timing of the implementation are also important considerations in planning. Slope at 173 + 535 - Km 173 + 705 along 170 m using soil nailing planned three nails with 19 mmnail diameter and angular slope of 20° with variation of nail length, nail installation spacing, safety factor (SF) and estimated working time to the cost. Using the SPSS.16.0 program, the variations are modeled by nine samples as multiple linear regression equations. Based on the SPSS output, then tested the classical assumption and feasibility test model which produced the model: Cost (million) = - 3159,475 - 54,097 length - 1354,256 distance + 5188,127 SF + 26,483 time. The Budget Plan (RAB) covers preparatory work, drainage system, soil nailing, and shotcrete. An efficient cost estimate of 8 m length nail, 1.5m installation distance, 1.5 safety factor and 64-day working time resulted in a cost of Rp. 3.853.485.500,00 (Three billion eight hundred fifty three million four hundred eighty five thousand rupiah).

Abstract

Tengkuruk Permai street is currently used for city transportation terminals, on street parking, access and exit to 16 Ilir market parking lot (off street parking), entrance to Ampera Bridge, passenger access to LRT stations and Skate Park. The various functions of this street caused the reduction in street service levels at certain hours and become a congestion point in Palembang city. This study aims to obtain the results of the analysis of Tengkuruk Permai’s street performance in the scenario conditions of terminal relocation and on street parking. The data were collected directly by measuring and enumeration then micro-simulated with the Vissim software. Vissim microsimulation modeling is carried out in existing conditions and scenarios by combining the 3 (three) floors parking building construction plans, city transport routes, Tengkuruk Permai street which has been cleared of on street parking and terminals, street networks around the research location and intersection arrangements concurrently. The street performance analysis uses the calculation of the V/C ratio, where the calculation of the street capacity uses the Vissim microsimulation output such as speed, density and volume obtained in the link of segment evaluation menu. Capacity determination is using the calculation of relation of flow (q), velocity (v) and density (k). The scenario of relocating the city transport terminal and street parking to the 3 (three) floors parking building plan at 16 Ilir market parking lot can increase the capacity of Tengkuruk Permai Street from 1087,88 pcu/hour/direction to 2295.15 pcu/hour/direction and improve the service level from level E to level A.

Abstract

The construction of Musi V Bridge is part of the series of Kapal Betung Toll Road, with the toll road in and out of Social Street which is connected to Lettu Karim Kadir Street. This study aims to obtain the performance of roads and intersections in Gandus District, obtain transportation modeling of traffic movements due to KayuAgung-Palembang-Betung Toll Road interchange, obtain predictions of the performance of roads and intersections resulting from traffic simulation models and provide policy suggestions in the form of strategies and traffic engineering management techniques. Data processing used the 2014 PKJI method and simulation with Vissim program. Results of data processing show that the performance of roads and intersections in existing conditions is still able to accommodate traffic flow, indicated by the degree of saturation that meets 2014 PKJI requirements, namely (DJ ≤ 0.85) with service level C and Vissim simulation results show the largest delay and queue length located in segment 3 (M Amin Fauzi Street -Tph Sofyian Kenawas Street) which is 138.18 meters and 21.02 seconds and on Lettu Karim Kadir Street (Direction of Musi II) of 14.04 seconds and 58.96 meters. After the operation of the Musi V Bridge, there was an increase in traffic volume which resulted in decreased performance of roads and intersections. Therefore, to improve its performance, road widening is carried out. The results of 2014 PKJI analysis showed a decrease in the degree of saturation from 0.43 to 0.35, a delay from 9.02 seconds / cur to 8.22 seconds / cur and the chances of queuing from 8.50 - 20.39% to 6.04 - 15.91% on Lettu Karim Kadir Street (Musi II Direction).

Abstract

The suitability of road class and service is an important thing that impacts the road's capacity. Currently, in Lubuklinggau City, district/city roads have the same level of service as national roads, with high traffic flows resulting from changes in land use. Road class change plants were analyzed using a four-stage transportation modeling method and processed with a post-mortem program and analysis of service levels and suitability of road classes with MKJI 1997 Level of Service (LOS) and Volume Capacity Ratio (VCR). The locations examined were Yossudarso Street and Letkol Sukirno Lapter Street, south ring of Lubuklinggau City. The traffic volume of Yossudarso Street obtained from the application visum was 2,053 pcu/hour. The traffic account survey results were 2,019 pcu/hour, and Letkol Sukirno Lapter Street obtained from the application visum was 1,718 pcu/hour, and the traffic account survey results were 1,705 pcu/hour. VCR value on Yossudarso Street is 0.72, Letkol Sukirno Street 0.60, Yossudarso Street is 0.72, and Letkol Sukirno Street is 0,60. The level of service for both roads is C. ABSTRAK Kesesuaian kelas jalan dengan pelayanan jalan merupakan hal penting yang berdampak pada kemampuan daya tampung jalan tersebut. Saat ini di Kota Lubuklinggau jalan kabupaten/kota tingkat pelayanannya sudah setara jalan Nasional tingginya arus lalu lintas yang terjadi akibat dari perubahan tata guna lahan. Analisis rencana perubahan kelas jalan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode empat tahap permodelan transportasi dan diolah dengan program visum dan analisa tingkat pelayanan dan kesesuaian kelas jalan dengan MKJI 1997 Level of Service (LOS) dan Volume Capacity Ratio (VCR). Lokasi yang di teliti yaitu Jalan Yossudarso dan Jalan Letkol Sukirno Lapter Lingkar Selatan Kota Lubuklinggau. Volume lalu lintas Jalan Yossudarso diperoleh dari program visum 2.053 smp/jam dan hasil survei traffic count 2.019 smp/jam dan Jalan Letkol Sukirno Lapter Lingkar Selatan diperoleh dari aplikasi visum sebesar 1.718 smp/jam dan hasil survei traffic count 1.705 smp/jam. Nilai VCR di jalan Yossudarso 0,72, jalan Sukirno Lapter 0,60, jalan Yossudarso 0,72 dan jalan Sukirno Lapter 0,60. Tingkat pelayanan kedua jalan tersebut adalah C.

Abstract

Palembang is the first city in Indonesia to have light rail transit. Enthusiasm for the LRT was high enough that the number of passengers reached 2,619,159 people in 2019. 2020 there was a drastic decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the number of passengers decreased to 1,053,637. The problem in the field is that after COVID-19, there was a decrease in the number of passengers by up to 59.8% from 2019. Apart from that, there is no monitoring system to monitor the growth of LRT passengers. Therefore, Monitoring and evaluation need to be carried out to monitor and supervise the progress of policy performance implemented by the South Sumatra Light Rail Center and assess whether the performance is on target and by its objectives. This research aims to evaluate the performance of the LRT and the policies that have been implemented. This research uses operational data, analytical methods, and descriptive analysis. Research results show that the number of passengers in 2023 will increase by 10,299 per day compared to 2022, of 8,436 per day. Several policies implemented by the light rail center to increase LRT passengers include providing shopping trolleys at Ampera station, student subscription cards, and others. People with disabilities and the community, as well as delivering feeder transportation. ABSTRAK Kota Palembang merupakan kota pertama di Indonesia yang memiliki kereta api ringan listrik. LRT Sumatera Selatan. Antusiasme masyarakat terhadap LRT cukup tinggi sehingga jumlah penumpang mencapai 2.619.159 pada tahun 2019. Tahun 2020 terjadi penurunan yang drastis akibat pandemic covid-19, jumlah penumpang menurun menjadi 1.053.637 penumpang. Masalah yang terlihat dilapangan saat habis Covid 19 adalah penurunan jumlah penumpang sampai 59,8% dari tahun 2019. Selain itu belum ada system monitoring untuk mengawal pertumbuhan penumpang LRT. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk memantau dan mengawal progres kinerja dari kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh balai kereta api ringan sumatera Selatan dan menilai kinerja apakah tepat sasaran dan sesuai tujuannya karena jika tidak di monitor bisa terjadi penyimpangan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi kinerja LRT dan kebijakan yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian menggunaka metode analisis data operasional dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penumpang tahun 2023 meningkat 10.299 perhari yang sebelumnya 8.436 perhari pada tahun 2022. Balai kereta api ringan melakukan beberapa kebijakan untuk meningkatkan penumpang LRT seperti Tas Troley belanja di stasiun ampera, kartu berlangganan untuk pelajar, disabilitas, dan masyarakat serta menyediakan angkutan feeder.

Abstract

The choice of transportation mode is a crucial aspect of student mobility, especially in higher education environments with high levels of activity. Students tend to select transportation modes based on cost, travel time, convenience, accessibility, and safety. However, the high use of private vehicles among students has led to increased traffic congestion and road accidents, as seen in Bengkulu City. On the other hand, the suboptimal quality of public transportation services has contributed to the low interest of students in using public transport. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the transportation mode choice of Universitas Bengkulu students and to evaluate the effectiveness of public transportation services. The method used is binary logistic regression analysis combined with stated preference to understand mode preferences based on cost and travel time comparisons. The resulting mode choice model indicates that students prefer private vehicles unless public transportation offers more competitive costs and travel times. The study results reveal that travel cost and time are the most influential factors in mode selection. If public transportation becomes more affordable or offers shorter travel times, students are more likely to switch to it. The study concludes that improving the quality of public transportation services, particularly in terms of cost efficiency and punctuality, can increase student interest in using public transport, thereby supporting a more sustainable transportation system.

Abstract

Infrastruktur jalan merupakan salah satu prasarana fisik transportasi yang memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Sebagai prasarana fisik, infrastruktur jalan memegang peranan yang sangat penting di bidang perhubungan, terutama untuk mendistribusikan barang dan jasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya tebal perkerasan lentur yang harus dilakukan pengupasan dan pelapisan kembali dan juga penggantian material Base A dengan Cement Treated Base (CTB) pada struktur perkerasan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis menggunakan program kenpave-kenlayer untuk mengetahuai nilai regangan yaitu vertical strain dan horizontal strain pada lapis perkerasan. Kemudian dilakukan analisis kerusakan perkerasan permanent deformation dan fatigue crack terhadap Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle Load (CESAL) 5 dengan masa layanan 20 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jalan Tol Ruas Palindra km 1 – km 2 Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh data tebal CTB yang digunakan pada struktur perkerasan dengan metode kenpave-kenlayer. Semakin tebal penggunaan lapisan CTB semakin kecil regangan vertical strain dan horizontal strain yang terjadi sehingga semakin besar terhadap ketahanan terhadap ketahanan permanent deformation dan fatigue cracking.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze operational costs and assess the feeder transportation rates for the Musi Emas LRT in Palembang. The research methods used include field surveys and data analysis. The research results show that the average load factor for the Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk and Haji-Sematang Borang Dormitory routes is 0.40, indicating that the available seating capacity (9 seats) is currently adequate. The number of passengers per day is 1,183 for the Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk Route and 987 for the Haji-Sematang Borang Dormitory, with a total fleet of 26 units, and 6 routes per day per vehicle. The travel time for the Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk route is 1.5 hours and the Haji-Sematang Borang Dormitory is 2 hours. The time between stops varies, namely the Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk route is around 15 minutes, while the Haji-Sematang Borang Dormitory is around 20 minutes. This is not in accordance with the standards of the Director General's Decree 687 of 2002, resulting in too long waiting times for passengers. The conclusion of this research is that the feeder transportation rates for the Musi Emas LRT on the Talang Kelapa-Talang Buruk Route and the Haji-Sematang Borang Dormitory need to be adjusted to the standard operational costs and time between stops which have been standardized by the Director General's Decree 687 of 2002 to minimize passenger waiting time and ensure the continuity of efficient and economical operations.
