Abstract

Abstract The weakness of mode choice model based on trip-based and tour-based is not paying attention to how the characteristics of the activity  influence the alternative modes used to conduct such activities. Regarding this, the mode choice model in this study based on the activity schedule and the time allocation. The mode choice model for the three alternatives such as private car, private motorcycle and other modes in this study is developed with the multinomial logit choice model based on the utility time allocation model of activity choice in a day. The selection mode is used to conduct the activity choice at the time after returning home from working activities.The result of the empirical analysis shows that the attributes of individuals, families and activities greatly affect the utility of time allocation of activities such as sports, shopping, meetings, entertainment and socialisation. Alternative modes that have greater attributes of utility activity value, shorter travel time, lower travel costs and joint tour have greater chance to be selected. Keywords: Activity time allocation, Activity Timing, Mode choice, Utility time allocation, Multinomial Logit   Abstrak Kelemahan model pemilihan moda berdasarkan trip based dan tour based adalah tidak memperhatikan bagaimana pengaruh karakteristik aktivitas terhadap pilihan moda yang digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tesebut, model pemilihan moda dalam penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan  jadwal dan alokasi waktuaktivitas.Model pemilihan moda untuk tiga alternatif pilihan mobil dan motor pribadi serta moda lainnya dikembangkan dengan model pemilihan multinomial logit berdasarkan model utilitas alokasi waktu aktivitas pilihan dalam satu hari.Pemlihan moda digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas pilihan pada waktusetelah pulang ke rumah dari aktivitas bekerja.Hasil analisis empiris menunjukan atribut individu, keluarga dan aktivitas sangat mempengaruhi utilitas alokasi waktu dari beberapa aktivitas pilihan seperti olah raga, belanja, meeting, hiburan ke mall dan bersosialisasi.Alternatif moda yang mempunyai atribut nilai utilitas aktivitas yang lebih besar, waktu tempuh yang lebih singkat, biaya perjalanan yang lebih rendah dan bersifat joint tour menpunyai peluang yang lebih besar untuk dipilih. Abstract

Today motorization happens quite fast even faster in many cities in the world. The number of motor vehicles in the world is expected to reach about 1.3 billion by 2020, more than double the current number. In the case of Indonesia, in the past three decades, motorization and urbanization has become a trend in many cities - metropolitan city. Unlike developed countries, most developing countries do not have a mass transit system that adequate to suppress the increase in motorization in urban areas. This research try mapping issues and challenges of public transport plan, implementation and operation in developing countries by literature study’s methodology. Finding of this study, at least, there are 5 (five) issues in the relation with public transport in developing countries i.e. sustainability impact issues, multi-faceted actor in the public transport implementation (organization and institutional issues), need of  public transport appraisal in strategic level issues, funding (budget constraint) issues, and competition and regulation issues. Then, there are some challenges of public transport implementation such as problem of political organization, problem of integrated transport planning, continuing need to develop appropriate   pricing and charging devices and financing instruments, the matter of   industrial structure, the issue of  competitive system design, the perceived problem of affordability and problem of strategic choice, particularly in urban areas.

Abstract

Abstract

The transport sector can not be separated from the economic sector, in which the role of transport as a logistics that will affect the production sector. The high cost of transportation will increase production costs and result in a lack of competitiveness of economic sectors in Indonesia (the Foundation and LPEM-UI, 2008). This study tried to describe the contribution of road infrastructure investment to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in terms of the transportation cost. The role of infrastructure investment is a way to lower the cost of transportation of goods and increase communication among the connected region, the road infrastructure investment will improve the performance of road transport as this will affect the production sector identified areas affected by the reduction in cost of production of economic sectors can be quantified as a value-added GDP measured in region.

Abstract

Abstract Origin-Destination Matrix is a two-dimensional matrix that contains travel demand information between different locations (zones). Based on previous studies, it is known that using mobile phone data has great potential for estimating OD Matrix effectively. The purpose of this research to assess OD matrixestimation based on mobile phone data that recordingcontinuously Base Transceiver Station (BTS) location which connected to mobile station as long as the device is powered on, case study in Bali Province. The approach to estimate OD matrix based on mobile phone datais by generating individual trajectory based the temporal sequence of location BTS data for each mobile phone users. Results of OD matrix estimation based on mobile phone data show the hourly and daily trip patterns of mobile phone users from cellular provider in Bali Province. The conclusions of this research describe limitations of OD Matrix estimation based on mobile phone data and future research extension. Keywords: Origin-Destnation Matrix, mobile phone data, Base Transceiver Station, trajectory  Abstrak Matriks Asal Tujuan (MAT) adalah matriks berdimensi dua yang berisi informasi mengenai besarnya pergerakan antarlokasi (zona) di daerah tertentu. Berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya diketahui bahwa pemanfaatan data telepon seluler memiliki potensi yang besar dalam mengestimasi MAT secara efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji estimasi MAT berdasarkan data telepon seluler yang berisi informasi lokasi Base Transceiver Station yang terhubung dengan perangkat telepon seluler dari waktu ke waktu selama kondisi aktif dengan wilayah studi di Provinsi Bali. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam mendefinisikan pergerakan asal tujuan berdasarkan data telepon seluler adalah dengan membangun trajectory individu berdasarkan data lokasi BTS yang diurutkan berdasarkan waktu untuk masing-masing pengguna telepon seluler. Hasil estimasi MAT berdasarkan data telepon seluler menunjukkan pola pergerakan pengguna telepon seluler pada periode tiap jam dan harian di wilayah Provinsi Bali. Abstract

Abstract Information system is very crucial in transportation service. In the delivery of information, there are some compulsory aspects of regularity which are subject to the Minimum Service Standards for Public Transportation regulated in both Ministerial Decree and other normative studies. The current development of technology impacts on the ease of moving across each individual’s space and time. It is also implemented in the dissemination of information on public transportation operation by means of website and application easily accessed by mobile devices. This research aims at evaluating the information system of public transportation with the case study of Transjakarta. The method of information system quality measurement will use the dimension of analysis service quality measurement SERVQUAL put in comparison with the aspects of public transportation service quality measurement generated from literature reviews. The result of comparative analysis of the two methods will be linked to WEBQUAL method, a technique to measure the quality of website and online application based on users’ perception. Keywords: service quality, information system services, public transportations, Transjakarta  Abstrak Sistem informasi adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam pelayanan transportasi. Dalam penyampaiannya pun terdapat aspek-aspek keteraturan yang harus dipenuhi sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Minimal Angkutan Umum yang terdapat dalam Peraturan Menteri maupun kajian normatif lainnya. Abstract

Development of new mode of metro kapsul as mass transportation mode in Bandung with corridor plan from Station Hall to Tegallega and return to Station Hall with plan of 19 stop station which can give contribution to congestion problem and lack of public transportation service in Bandung city. This study aims to analyze the potential of demand with the data of origin - destination of the respondent in the corridor plan of the metro capsule in order to give a description of the movement in the origin-destination matrix, in analysis for potential demand used the modal movement assumption of private vehicles, public transport and pedestrian, The location of priority shelter at the beginning of development by using multicriteria analysis while for operational analysis is calculated some variables of capsule metro operating system (headways, frequencies, etc). The result of origin-destination matrix analysis is getting potential demand of metro capsule during weekdays on-peak of 3529 pass/hour, off-peak of 2116 pass/hour. The result of location priority stop location will get 6 (six) stop location recommended in ?Stasiun Bandung, Pasar Baru, Pasar Anyar, Taman Tegallega, ITC Kebon Kelapa and Alun-Alun Bandung?. From the operational results of metro capsule, obtained frequence of 20 Unit/jam, headways 3 minutes, the number of vehicles required 8 vehicles, on weekdays and weekends when on-peak and off-peak.

Abstract

In investing, there is definitely a risk, as well as the concession of toll roads. Risk analysis is used to anticipate losses due to an element of risk at each investment stage. The results of the analysis show that the highest risk probability for the Solo-Ngawi toll road is land availability and the influence of weather during development and the highest risk impacts are land availability, the potential for revolution in state governance. Based on the results of the analysis, the investment risk level of the Ngawi Solo Toll Road is included in the moderate risk category, so there is a need for cooperation in risk assurance by the Insurance Agency so that the risk level can be reduced to be lower than before.
