Abstract

Fractional derivative is a generalization of ordinary derivative with non-integer or fractional order. This research presented fractional derivative of hyperbolic function (hyperbolic sine, hyperbolic cosine, hyperbolic tangent, hyperbolic cotangent, hyperbolic secant, and hyperbolic cosecant) with order constraint . The hyperbolic function is presented in Maclaurin series form. Then, the fractional derivative can be determined by using definition of Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. The result is simulated by using Matlab software

Abstract

Dimensi metrik dari graf terhubung G adalah kardinalitas dari himpunan pembeda minimum dari G, dimana W disebut himpunan pembeda dari G jika  r(v|W) berbeda untuk setiap v elemen V(G) . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dimensi metrik dari graf jaring laba-laba R_(m,n). Graf jaring laba-laba dikonstruksi dari graf bintang S_n  sebanyak  1 dan graf sikel C_n  sebanyak m. Konstruksi graf tersebut melibatkan definisi dari C_n(m) yang menyatakan graf sikel C_n ke-m , dengan V(C_n(m))={a_(m1), a_(m2), a_(m3), ..., a_(mn)} dan V(S_n)={u, a_(m1), a_(m2), a_(m3), ..., a_(mn)}   dengan  u sebagai titik pusatnya, dimana m elemen N dan n>3 . Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh  dimensi metrik dari graf jaring laba-laba R_(m,n) adalah 3.

Abstract

Cyclic codes were discovered by Prange in 1957. They have served as the foundation for the development of modern coding theory, such as Hamming codes, Golay codes, Reed-Solomon codes, and others. Cyclic codes are closely related to generator polynomials of a polynomial ring. This research uses a literature review method using relevant international articles and books. The research will revisit several aspects of Ling and Xing's work on generator polynomial of ideal in polynomial ring and its relevance to cyclic code. Furthermore, detailed explanations will be provided along with several examples.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Avian Influenza spread model around the equilibrium point. The population discussed is the poultry population which consists of two sub-populations, namely susceptible and infective. The method used is literature study through reference books and scientific articles related to the models. Then, the mathematical model, equilibrium point, and model stability were calculated. The results of calculations were made into a simulation model using Matlab and Maple software. It was found that there was an Avian Influenza virus spread to the poultry population which was influenced by several factors, namely birth, natural death, death due to infection, and migration (movement).

Abstract

This study presented a fractional integral representation of hyperbolic sine and hyperbolic cosine function. The method used in this study involved the representation of the function in the form of a Maclaurin series, followed by the analysis of its fractional integral, and the determination of convergence interval. Furthermore, the computed results were visualized through simulations using MATLAB software. The results showed that when the fractional order alpha approaches 0, the graph obtained is getting closer to the initial function. Conversely, when alpha approaches 1, the graph is getting closer to the integral of the initial function. Keywords: Maclaurin series, hyperbolic function, fractional integral, Matlab

Abstract

The cooling system is one of the essential components in motor vehicles that requires proper maintenance. Disruption in the performance of the cooling system can lead to an increase in the engine's operating temperature. Ultimately, an overheated engine can cause reduced performance, damage to engine components, and even systemic component failure in motor vehicles. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the knowledge of Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers in maintaining the cooling systems of their operational vehicles, which are three-wheeled motorcycles. To achieve this goal, we conducted a workshop at the RW.016 Secretariat, West Cengkareng, West Jakarta. As a result of this activity, PPSU officers in the area have increased their understanding of what needs to be done regularly to ensure the optimal performance of their operational vehicles' cooling systems. An optimally performing cooling system allows the operational vehicles to function properly, ultimately leading to maximum performance by the PPSU officers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi jumlah penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Probolinggo menggunakan model pertumbuhan logistik. Estimasi parameter model ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode kuadrat terkecil. Data yang digunakan meliputi jumlah penduduk miskin dari tahun 2010 hingga 2023. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada kesesuaian model pertumbuhan logistik terhadap data riil, dengan prediksi menunjukkan bahwa selalu terjadi penurunan jumlah penduduk miskin setiap tahunnya dari tahun 2024 hingga 2028.

Abstract

Background: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMK Yadika 12 Depok dalam bidang pemrograman dan komputasi numerik melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi MATLAB. Metode: Melalui pendekatan pelatihan langsung, sebanyak 33 siswa dari jurusan Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi dilibatkan dalam berbagai sesi pelatihan, mulai dari instalasi MATLAB, operasi dasar aritmetika, pembuatan grafik 2D/3D, hingga pemodelan sistem menggunakan persamaan diferensial. Hasil: Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 68,79 (pre-test) menjadi 88,79 (post-test), dengan 88% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Data ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan MATLAB secara praktis dapat memperkuat pemahaman konsep-konsep teknis yang sebelumnya bersifat abstrak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap tujuan SDG`s   atau Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam mendukung pendidikan berkualitas dan kesiapan kerja. Program ini juga menjadi sarana transfer pengetahuan antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah vokasi. Kesimpulan: Secara keseluruhan, program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar, tetapi juga berperan strategis dalam menyiapkan generasi siswa yang melek digital dan siap kerja.
